Problem:

School boards rarely are aware of the issues certain schools have. The school boards are normally run by the government. They set the curriculum and tell schools what they can and can't do.

My solution:

The school should have its own board made up of 9 members to prevent ties in votes on school matters. There should be 3 tutors, students, and teachers on the board. Why not parents? For two reasons:

To prevent parental bais

Parents are not directly involved in the daily school activities

Requirements for board members:

They must be able to put aside their political and business interest

Must have one-year experience (for tutors and teachers)

Must have one-year attendance (for students)

How members are selected:

Members will be initially selected by the principal or school founder.

Afterward, the student government will select members.

The student government should be elected and run by students under the supervision of a teacher or faculty member who is not on the board or looking to join the board.
