So, I haven't updated it a while on this little rant thingy.  But I should really get myself in gear and work on my other works, especially on Guardians undercover.  And on Goodbye And Hello.  Those two I haven't updated in a long time.  And it doesn't help that I keep coming up with ideas for new stories.  Especially new ideas for BTS fanfics, which I am really liking these new ideas.  A lot.  Darn it!

And I'm sorry for that.  BUT!!!!  I promise that I will be working on those, once I can get this damn essays out of the way.  I'm failing my English class.  So, I was in my English class, and I was logged into canvas.  Canvas is where I can log in and check my grades and do assignments for my classes.  Only a few Colleges or Universities use it, not all of them do.  Don't know why, since it's really good.  And there is app for it, so I don't always have to go onto the school website to log into it.  ANYWAYS, I think it was on Wednesday of this week.  I was logged in canvas, and my grade for my English class showed that I had an 80% for that class.  Then the professor gave back our essays from before Spring Break.  And I got a freaking F!!!!  He wrote a small note on the back of it, it said that I had a good idea, but it was too short, let's talk.  And I got a 40 something.  He said I didn't do the who verb before adding the name of the person of the quote I used.  He didn't really explain what to do.  So I got home, and was messaging my friend, and she said to check my grade again.  It it had dropped down to a 64%, to say I was upset is an understatement.  I was angry!  Sure I had two missing "assignments" which was during the group reading on a day I was absent and had emailed him about it the day before.  I will rewrite my essay, and to the best on this new essay, and blow his mind away.  I will type up the best essay that he'll even have glorify it as the best one he's had this semester.  GOOD LUCK TO ME!!!!  I CAN DO IT!!!!

So, by the title maybe some of you can already guess what it's about.  And if not, well you're about to figure out what it is about.

You all know what a kink is right?

You've all read stories that have a serious daddy kink in it right?

Well, there comes a time where it should and shouldn't be used.  At least I think so.

Or, to keep the comments clean when that word is used in a story that has nothing of that nasty little stuff in it.

I once came across a story here on wattpad that seemed pretty interesting.  So I started reading it.  And as I was reading it, I was kind of like, "what is going on here".  Because in the story, the father is in love with his own son!  And the son starts liking his own father as well!  And I was left speechless, like "wtf did I just read", and the whole daddy thing was said.   Not in the endearing way, but in the sexual way.

And that's when I called it quits, when I felt like I'd throw my phone at the wall, and drink a whole bucket of holy water, and cleanse myself at what I had read.

In stories that are meant to be like that, I don't care if they use that work or any other kinky stuff since it was probably meant to be like that.

BUT!!

There was a fanfic, a Vampire Knight one.  Where there was a third child to the Kuran family.  And she was shunned and treated badly by Juri and Haruka, and I think by Yuki as well.

Anyways, she ends up getting taken in by Heinze (did I even spell his name right?) as his daughter.  And the little girls starts calling him daddy.

Okay, so I know that the author of that story, has no intention of that word being used in a sexual way.  And I try to keep my mind as clean as possible, and when I see that word I even replace it in my mind with papa.

But, the comments.  Dear lord.  All they are about practically is that daddy kink.  And some are like, "No, please no daddy kink" while others are with the whole lenny face going on.

It's like, "ya'll need help." And a few dashes of holy water.

So, it's kind of messed up and sad to see that a story that holds not sexual intent is being treated as one in the comments just because of that one word.

I personally DO NOT like the daddy kink thing.  I don't even like seeing it in regular stories.  It feels wrong to me.  But I guess whatever the author likes, it's all up to them.

Never will I use "daddy" in my stories, I'll use "papa"

I'll admit that I'm not the most pure clean mind kind of person at times, but I do not cross that line where the kink is used.  That is a line I will not cross.

Well, that's just for me personally.  This is merely my own personal thought about it, so I am not trying to insult anyone who uses or used that word in their story.  Just because they use that word, does not mean I will hate their work.  Or that I am thinking ill of them.  None of that.  So I apologize if you found this insulting.

If you like using that word in your fanfics, don't let my own opinion stop you, or make you feel doubtful about it.  Okay.

Though, I have a question, why is daddy used in such in an appropriate way?  I know it's so endearing when said by a child, but with how it's used a lot in the non-endearing way, makes it less cute at times, and just wrong.

LIKE I'VE SAID BEFORE, THIS IS MERELY MY OPINION ABOUT THIS.  PLEASE DO NOT FEEL INSULTED OR FEEL THE NEED TO CALL OUT ON OTHERS FOR THIS.

So what is your, "Daddy?? WHY!!" moment that you've come across?

SO that's it for this chapter of my rant.  I had to get it out of my system, since I just read a BTS fanfic which is completely innocent and cute, because all the members except Namjoon were children.  And daddy was used, and the comments were just like, damn the daddy kink fire was lit.

As for my essay, I have a friend who is willing to help me out.  We made plans to meet up and for her to look through my essays and to walk me through what I need to do.  Because that professor I have didn't even do that.  So I need the help.
