Next morning

Manik along with Nandini. Nandini moved towards the kitchen to make breakfast where as Manik went towards the living room to read the newspaper.

Here upstairs Kartik, Abhimanyu were trying to wake up Dhruv who was drunk fully.

Kartik:ab kya kare bhai? Dhruv bhai toh uth hi nahi rahe...

Abhi: aaj humari bajne wali hai...

Kartik bobbed his head making her scared face. Abhimanyu got irritated as Dhruv was not ready to get up.

Abhi: tch yeh gadha uth hi nahi raha..aye Dhruv...uth...

Dhruv:tch...sone do na...

Kartik:ohh mere Dhruv bhai uth jao ...bahar volcano phutne wala hai...

Still he didn't budge Abhimanyu sighed and went in the washroom and  got a bucket full of water and threw at him...

Dhruv got up shouting tsunami tsunami...where as Kartik laughed loudly...

Dhruv:bhai....kya problem hai...pani kyun dala?

Abhi: sale uth...neeche bhaiya intezaar kar rahe honge...kal jo hua na...aaj bajne wali hai...

Listening him Dhruv was confused but soon understood....

Dhruv: oh shit...

Saying this he ran in the washroom without taking his clothes and all where as Abhimanyu and Kartik sighed and they both went down.

Here downstairs Nandini was done with the breakfast...she went out and saw them coming down looking at Manik whose face was showing as if he is reading the paper seriously.

Abhi:bhai serious lag rahe hai...

Kartik: woh kab nahi lagte?

They whispered each other their gaze turned to Nandini as they heard the sound of vessels. She smiled looking at them they also did the same but mouthed good morning.

Nandini:chaliye nashta taiyar hai...

Listening her they both were about to move towards the dinning table without acknowledging Manik's presence but Manik saw them.

Manik: stop there...

Abhi: good morning bhai...

Kartik:good morning bhaiya..

Manik:good morning...where is Dhruv?

Abhi: he is coming...

Manik:hmm...

Manik guestuered them to sit they sat quietly Nandini saw them for the first time scared of Manik. Nandini got up to serve but Manik stopped her

Manik: we will serve ourself you sit.

Nandini bobbed her head and sat beside him. Soon Dhruv came down clutching his head.

Nandini: Dhruv how is ur headache?

Dhruv: ohh... it's terrible..

Nandini: it's okay have this lemonade tumhara sar dukhna band ho jayega...

Dhruv was about to take the glass but stopped listening Manik.

Manik: Nandini why are you giving him lemonade give him alcohol...use kam ho jayega...

Nandini looked at Manik then at Dhruv and then down... She didn't knew how to handle this situation.

Dhruv was feeling guilty and sad also to listen this..

Dhruv: bhai I am sorry...mujhe nahi pina chahiye tha...

Manik: but still did...

Manik said gritting his teeths... Abhimanyu, Kartik and Nandini chose sit quietly.

Manik: Dhruv I was nit expecting you to do so...have you ever seen me or Abhimanyu drinking?

Dhruv shook his head denying... Manik sighed and said

Manik: you know how our dad was...inspite of knowing you drank...tunhe pata hai na how he used to behave towards us towards mom when he used to drink...

Dhruv looked down... Manik got up and stood infront of him and said

Manik: dekh Dhruv I don't want anyone of us to be like him... Abhimanyu also has seen how our father was and so has you except for Kartik...unki vajah se our mother has suffered alot I don't want the same thing to happen with anyone...

Abhimanyu and Kartik were sad knowing it... Dhruv understood what he meant...

Dhruv: I promise I won't do this again... it's just that our friends they were teasing so gussa aa gaya aur maine...

He whispered looking down... Manik sighed and said

Manik: it's okay...agli baar please aisa mat karna...varna I don't know what I will do...

Saying this Manik sat on his place and told Dhruv also to sit. They all had the breakfast silently...

Later on Abhimanyu went to get his bag from his room where as Kartik left for the college...

Dhruv was waiting for Manik who was talking on the phone.

Manik: no no... don't I will come and check on it...ya ok bye...

Manik: Nandini we are leaving...

Nandini who was in the kitchen came out and said

Nandini:okay...aaj ghar pe koi nahi hoga?

Manik listening her sad tone he smiled  and said

Manik: I'll try coming home early...

Nandini smiled and moved towards the door to see off them... Abhimanyu and Dhruv were in the car already.

Kartik entered his College with his friends around him...

Shiv:waise maine suna tere bhai ki shadi ho gayi hai...

Kartik smiled brightly and said showing them his glow

Kartik:yes... I am do happy finally someone is there for me who can take care of me...

Shiv: tu toh aise bol raha hai ki Manik bhai tera khyal hi nahi rakthe the...

Kartik:aisa nahi hai ok...he does take care of us but u know ek maa ki feeling is something that I missed...so that kind of affection is there towards her.

Shiv nodded and they moved towards their classes. Here Manik dropped Dhruv and they both he and Abhimanyu went to the office.

Dhruv entered in th campus only to be surrounded by his friends and they started their thing...

Chris: wohh...look guys who is here... our big guy is here...finally...

Whole College was looking at him...where as he was feeling awkward with the center of attraction

Dhruv: guys please...

Saying this he moved towards the canteen area...his friends followed him...

Dhruv sat on his place and his friends sat beside him.

Mahi: kya yrr...kal hi tu big man ban gaya... finally u had the drink...

Dhruv: maine tum logon ko bola tha... I will not drink...but nahi u guys literally forced me...

Chris: chill na...why so scared...

Dhruv: tune mere bhai ko nahi dekha...he is more dangerous than anyone...

Mahi: voh tera bhai hai...baap nahi...

Dhruv: still guys... I don't want to drink guys...

Chris:what yrr...we r planning a weekend party...and u will come there...

Dhruv: no...

Saying this he got up to go but his friend said

Mahi: are you sure? U will bot come?

Dhruv:yes...

Mahi: fine then I'll see how u will not come...

He smirked and left from there... Dhruv sighed and went from thinking about everything....
