Lilly's p.o.v
As we were walking max told me that we was going to go faster so that their ready for when I come because I'll need help getting in with my broken leg.
I walked alone it was starting to get dark I heard foot steps behind me and I looked around I saw a group of high school kids I think the leader was the one with fox ears and a fox tail the others were human..
I started to walk faster but one grabbed their hand around my mouth. I screamed and kicked they dragged me into a i'll way with designs on the walls. They held me up against one of the walls I tried to bit them and kick and scream but they didn't let go I heard one say "just let her go she is already hurt" "keep quiet you pathetic human this is a wolf we're talking about we let it go it will hurt use" he snickered
"Your kind should not be out here at night eh where's your family" one of the guys said who was holds my legs
I bites the guy holding my mouth and he cursed and then slapped me "you little mute I will make sure you will never see tomorrow" he pulled out a pocket knife and held it up against my neck "any last words mute"
"Yeah I got a few don't you ever ever call me a mute" I used my powers to knock the guys back sending the pocket knife flying.
One of the humans tried to punch me but I ducked and he hit the other human in his face who was trying to grab my waist. The human that got hit fell over his nose bleeding knocked out cold.
The guy who punched him growled and tackled me while he did that I rolled around with him on the ground and tried to keep my leg tucked in so I didn't hurt it any more than it already was.
I kept punching him but he did get a few punches on me making my nose bleed and a few big bruises on my cheek.
One of the humans said loud enough for the whole world to hear "guys we shouldn't hurt a girl we could get in big trouble"the fox kid said "she is not a girl she is a mutant mute"
I said after knocking the person out "sure you aren't talking about yourself"
I felt all my weight get slammed against a wall I slide down and yelped when the fox boy put one leg on my broken leg and held my throats making it so I couldn't breath and chocking me.
Me hands were holding onto his wrists trying to get them off.
I saw a lot of black dots appear in my vision but I heard a voice yell "GET OFF MY SISTER YOU BIG NASTY MUTAN"
I felt all the weight I hade on my body disappear and I laid their trying to catch my breath.
I saw max fight the fox guy and knock him into a wall making big cuts in his back face and well his body.
I couldn't stand and I felt like a ton of bricks were stacked on my back I felt a force pick me up and put me gently over their shoulder. I flinched every time max took a step so he slowed down a tad bit.

======Few min later======
We got to Lenix and Ethan's house max set me down on the couch i almost fell over but Lenix caught me and laid me down. He examined my leg while Ethan got some wet clothes to clean the cuts on my face and the blood.
Lenix touched my leg and I flinched and whimpered. He stopped and said softly "sorry Lilly but we gotta get it looked at you might have broken it, how did this happen anyways"
"Well no duh it hurt like hell and I'm sure it is broken" I though in my head
I looked at max and his eyes widened then hardened. He nodded and mouthed "its time"
I sighed and told Lenix all about what has been really happening, why my leg was broke, why everyday we would have bruises, how we got cuts on our backs, how we got black eyes , how we didn't really talk about our family, everything...
