Enjoyable
"Kuga Terunori. You are invited to spend the whole summer in the (L/N) family estate in the countryside. As someone my granddaughter sees as her friend, I give you special permission to spend time with her.
-(L/N) Masafumi, head of the (L/N) family.
P.s Just show this to the guards if they don't let you in."
You throw the letter on the table, sitting back on the couch and crossing your legs and arms. Right in front of you was your grandmother and Kuga, both with smiles.
"See, Terunori boy is going to stay with you the whole summer, angel!" Your grandma said, presenting Kuga to you. "Wouldn't that be nice! Masafumi always told me that you've been cooped up every summer with Yvon! It's about time you make some friends your age! And he even brought his friends!" She said, pointing to Kuga's RS members behind them. "Oh, you all just look so friendly and full of sunshine!"
"Thank you, madam! The tea you brewed yesterday was wonderful!" One of them said, your grandmother completely being caught in.
You puffed out your cheeks, your brows furrowing as you sink into the couch. You were fine with Kuga being there, but not for the whole month. 'Doesn't he have elite ten stuff to do!?'
"Aww~ my little angel! You just look so adorable!" Your grandma said, standing up and dragging Kuga with her, making him sit next to you. "Kya! You two just look so perfect! Don't they just look so perfect?" She asked the RS members.
"They do!" They said, giving her a thumbs up.
"Oh, you're all so great! I'm gonna make us some snacks! To the kitchen, we go!" She cheered as she left, the others following her, leaving you and Kuga alone.
"Why couldn't you get more off her attitude, (Y/N)-chin?" Kuga asked, leaning both his hands behind the couch. "You would look totally adorable if you were to-"
"Shut up." You said, glaring at him, making him gulp and nod. You sigh, hugging your knees close to your chest and plopping to the side of the couch, a tear escaping your eyes. "Don't you have elite ten stuff to do...? Aren't you busy... why are you here..."
"Silly you! I already told you that I'm done with all of the work!" He said, poking your leg, making you kick and nearly miss his head. "I-I'm sorry, empress..."
"Ugh..." You groaned, stretching your legs, putting over Kuga's. "I just wanted a quiet summer... but then here you come... damn that old man..." You muttered, letting your hand fall to the ground. "You know... I'm still weirded out by your hair."
"You're still onto that!?" You nodded, sitting up properly, staring at his hair. "It's normal! My hair is natural!" He kept on ranting while you just pulled on his head, examining his hair. "Oi! Let go!"
"Keep still!" You said, forcing him to stay still.
'Ah... (Y/N)-chin really wants to kill me...' Kuga thought, a tear escaping his eyes. 'I don't want to die yet... (Y/N)-chin is this really necessary?!' He cried silently as his face was pressed in your thighs.
"Your hair is totally split! The front is totally blonde while the back is dark brown..." You muttered, running your fingers through his scalp. "How in the world did this happen... biology did not prepare me for the thing that is you, Kuga." There was no response. You looked down at his face. "Ah, he passed out...tch, fucking weak."

Kuga slowly woke up, adjusting his vision. The first thing that came to him was your face reading through a few papers in your hand. He felt something soft messaging his scalp, it made him drowsy even though he just woke up.
'WAIT!' He snapped his eyes open, looking at your hand going through his head. He sat up nervously, his heart pounding fast and hard. "(Y/N)-chin?! How long was I sleeping for!?"
"Hm... about an hour..." You said, placing the papers on the table. "Why did you suddenly pass out? You're so weak." You smirked, covering your mouth with your hand. "What a pathetic man you are."
Kuga couldn't make a comeback as he sulked in the corner of the couch. You returned to looking at the hated paperwork that you had to do, it was so silent that Kuga felt awkward. But the silence was like the norm for you.
You stood up, putting the papers in a file and leaving them on the table. "Hey, Kuga, want to go somewhere?"

"The lake?" Kuga asked as you two sat on the ground. You hugged your knees close to your chest, staring at the shadows of the trees on the water. "We were here yesterday."
"..." You stayed silent, just listening to the wind and nature. "Kuga... you know... you could've just ignored my grandpa..." You said, facing him, resting your face on your knees. "It's not like he can do anything to you. You're the eighth seat anyways..."
"Well, I was bored anyway. So might as well find something to entertain myself with!" He said cheekily, trying to get a reaction from you, but getting nothing. He wondered why you were so... docile... "You know, seeing you so calm is... disturbing..."
"Can you not." You said, sitting up straight, glaring at him. You sighed, leaning back and resting on the grass. "Kuga... why do you cook?"
You and Kuga locked eyes for a minute or two, the sound of nature as your background. It was broken only until Kuga looked away.
"I find cooking fun!" He said with a smile, a genuine one, his wine red eyes admiring the sky covered the trees' leaves. "I just love it when people sweat and turn red in pain, but still keep eating anyway! I just love torturing people with my food!" And there goes that peaceful moment. "How about you, (Y/N)-chin, why do you cook?" He asked with a sinister grin that sent shivers down your spine.
"You know... you're totally fucked up in the head..." He just chuckled, not denying nor confirming what you just said. "And as for why I cook, I guess it's because I..." You paused, thinking of why.
Why did you start cooking?
When did you start cooking?
For who did want to start cooking?
"I guess you could say that I want to express emotions. I want to see the people who eat my food to be... happy." You answered. It was such a wonderful answer, yet, instead of a smile, you had a frown. "I want... someone to be happy..."
"Hm... you're surprisingly pure- ouch! Let go of my face! I'm sorry! I didn't mean to say it!" He cried trying to pry your hands off his cheeks. "(Y/N)-chin!!! I'm sorry!!" You let go of him, flipping your hair and looking to the side angrily. "Ahaha... sorry, sorry! I didn't know you were so sensitive! I always thought you were an ice block with no feelings!"
There was a long silence as Kuga realized what he just said. But instead of the punch he thought he was going to get, he heard sniffles coming from you. 'Ah. She's crying. This is worse. This is very, very, very bad.'
"U-um... I didn't mean to..." He stammered, trying to comfort you. He honestly doesn't know how to comfort people. He's a sadist for fucks sake. "(Y-Y/N)-chin... I-I'm sorry..."
"Am I really just an ice block..." You asked, your voice quiet. "I'm human too you know... even something like me has feelings... I just don't know how to show them..." You muttered, wiping your tears away. "I just-"
"Sorry." Kuga said, his hand on top of your head. "I was being stupid, I didn't mean to hurt you..."
You turned around, facing Kuga with a smirk. "Heh, got ya, you piece of shit! AHAHAHAHA!!! You think that someone like me would be affected by your tiny little comment!? I've been called worse, darling!"
'This girl... really...' He thought, feeling anger coursed through him. "Honestly! I was honestly worried about you there! Do you have any idea how much you scared me!?" You stuck your tongue out, giving him a peace sign. "AH! (Y/N)-chin you're so difficult to deal with!"
"Hehe... I am an empress." You said smugly.
"AH! I knew you two were here!" A new person joined. Her loud voice echoing through the forest. Your grandma, along with Kuga's RS members all made their way towards you two, holding baskets and a large blanket. "Let's have a picnic! I made food!"
And so, the war between you and Kuga was prevented by your lovely grandma and her food.
