Janvi's POV_

The sound of the doorbell woke me up from my slumber. I got up to open the door. I yawned and made my way to the main door. I looked from the peep hole. It was dad.

Shit! It was dad and Akash was sleeping on the couch,I thought. I rushed to the couch where Akash was sleeping. I crouched down and started shaking him violently.

"Akash dad is here!" I whisper-yelled at him, as I increased my pace, until he fell off the couch.

Sorry..?

"Ahh are you mental?" He snapped while glaring at me. I fought back the urge of rolling my eyes  at him.

"Will you shut up and listen to me?" I glared at me as he kept on throwing daggers at me with his eyes.

"Dad is outside of the flat, if he gets to know that you are sleeping on the couch and I am in the bedroom, he will think that something is wrong between us, which is true, but I don't want our parents to know this, so go to the bathroom and pretend that you are taking a shower!" I explained to him as he listened with a scowl on his face.

Does this guy ever smile?

"So basically you want me to go the bathroom and pretend to take a shower?" He asked and I nodded.

"Yes!"

"So why did you needed to utter those uneccessery bullshit?" He commented cockily while picking himself off the floor and make his way towards the bedroom.

Sourpuss.

I watched till he disappeared into the bedroom and then went to the open the door.

"Surprise!" Dad exclaimed while spreading his arms wide. I pretended to look surprised and hugged dad as he wrapped his arms around me protectively. I smiled into the hug.

"Dad what a surprise!" I exclaimed as I lead him inside. He got inside and sat on the couch.  He looked at Akash's bag on the coffee table.

"Woh dad, Akash came home late last night and he was damn tired so he left his bag here only and directly went to sleep." I said answering his silent question. Dad nodded.

"But Janu at least you should have put the bag at the right place!" Dad said, I went to the kitchen to make him his favorite black coffee.

"Sorry dad!" I said.

"It's okay Janu! By the where is my jamai raja?" Dad asked in a humorous tone. I badly wanted roll my eyes at the mention of 'jamai raja' .

Must be sleeping on the floor of the bathroom! I thought as I poured the coffee into two mugs. I took them and went to sit near dad.

"He is taking a shower." I said while handing dad his cup. He nodded and took a sip.

"You know I really miss your coffee!" Dad said and I grinned.

"Do you want me to come home with you?" I asked,hoping he would say yes.

"No no!" He  said while chuckling and I pouted and took a sip from my mug.

"Hello dad!" Our head turned to the direction from where this voice came from.

Talk of the devil and the devil appears.

The devil had wet hair, meaning he actually did take a shower. He was clad in a blue jeans and black shirt, sleeves rolled up to his elbows.

Dad got up and hugged Akash, which he thankfully returned.

"Dad! How come you are here at 7 am?" Akash asked while taking the seat beside me. I scooted away from him.

"Well I had a meeting here, so I thought of paying a visit to my jamai raja and daughter and which reminds me I have to leave now!" Dad said and got up. I frowned and got up.

"But dad you just came, stay a little longer!" I almost whned. Dad smiled and shook his head.

" I have to work, so do you two, so bid me adieu now" dad said.

"Come on dad, stay a little longer, Janvi misses you alot!" Akash said backing me up.

"Miss me? I don't think you give her the time to miss me." Dad says and my eyes widen. Both of the males started laughing as the heat starts radiating on my cheek.

"Dad if you are going to crack this kind of jokes, its better you leave now!" I said in embarrassment. Dad chuckles at me and kisses on top of my head.

"Bye dad!" Me and Akash say at the same time. Dad waves at us for the last time before disappearing into the elevator. I close the door behind us.

I look at the clock, it's almost 8:30 am. I should start getting ready now.

"Make your own breakfast." I said to him before walking into the bedroom.

"As of I am gonna eat what you will make!" I heard him say in the background. I grabbed my clothes and went to the bathroom to take a shower.

I got dresses in a red salwar kameez and went in front of the dressing table to get ready. I applied a little kohl and mascara to my eyes and a little lip balm. I bend down to pick up the hair brush, but I felt like I grabbed something sticky. I looked down to the hairbrush to see its covered with chewed chewing gum.

"Chee!" I jerked my hand and hairbrush fell from my hand. God! Chee so disgusting!,I thought. 

Suddenly I heard the sound of chuckling.  I looked around to see Akash leaning on the door frame while chewing a gum.

"Arghhhhhh" I let out a groan and went to the bathroom to wash my hand . In the background I could hear the sound of his hideous laughter. I wanted to choke him so bad.

After washing my hand, I grabbed my bag and went to the living room. He was eating a toast. I grabbed  a banana and walked out of the living room, but not before throwing him a death stare.

I pressed the button of the elevator and stood in front of it patiently. After a minute, Akash came and stood beside me. The door opened and I got inside not sparing him a single glance. He too got inside and pressed the "G" button.

We both walked out of the elevator, I went to my car while he went to his bullet.

So guys how was this chapter? I enjoyed a lot while writing this chapter. Janvi's dad's role will be played Prakash Raj. Why? Because that man can do every effing thing! I just love him.
