Third Person's POV_

Janvi reached the place, gani said Akash will be. It was the place where Akash lost Muskaan. He has been visiting this place for the last 3 years.

Janvi noticed Akash sitting on a bench. Janvi was facing his back. Silently janvi went to the bench sat at the other end of the bench.

Akash looked at his left to see Janvi sitting there. He wanted ask why is she here? And how did she knew that akash was here? But he kept silent.

Janvi herself didn't know why was she here. After hearing about Akash's past, she felt extremely guilty. It was not only her, who lost her love. Akash too experienced the same. He was too sudfering from the same kind of pain. Janvi gave a hard time to Akash, without knowing his side of story.

Akash heard the sound of sniffling coming from his left. He looked there to see Janvi crying silently. He wanted to reach out to her, wipe her tears, console her...but he knew that he couldn't.

Janvi looked up to see Akash staring at her face, making their contact lock for a moment before Akash looked away. Janvi too wiped her tears.

Akash looked back at Janvi.

"Why are you crying?" Akash asked janvi in a soft voice.

"I am sorry." Janvi answered while looking back at Akash.

Akash was confused.

"Sorry for what?" Akash asked.

"For the things I've done to you and the things I've said to you in the hospital." Janvi said. Akash looked away from her and nodded.

"And thank you." Janvi added. Akash again looked back at janvi with a confused expression on his face.

"For bearing my intolerable behaviour and taking care of me." Janvi said and akash again nodded. This time janvi looked away.

"I am sorry and thank you." Akash said to Janvi, who looked back at him with a confused look on her face.

"I am sorry for doing all the wrong to you after our marriage. I am sorry for treating you as if its all your fault, I am sorry for not accepting as you my wife..." as Akash explained all his fault, janvi stared at him.

"And thank you for putting up with me and my cruel behaviour." Akash said to janvi as she nodded. 

Both made eye to eye contact foe the last time before looking away. They kept sitting there without uttering any word.

-After Some days-

"How ya doin' mrs. Mehra?" Laila exclaimed while walking in Janvi's cabin. Laila expected janvi to go ape shit on her when she called her Mrs. Mehra but surprisingly Janvi was perfectly normal.

"Just calling people for Akash's surprise birthday party." Janvi answers laila with a smile on her face while Laila's eyes were just about get out of their sockets.

Laila took a seat in front of Janvi and looked at Janvi with all the seriousness she had in herself.

"First not freaking out when I called you Mrs.Mehra and now arranging surprise for Akash! What's up Mrs. Mehra, Are you falling in love with Me.Mehra?" Laila said and Janvi's head snapped towards laila's direction.

"What the hell are you talking laila?" Janvi asked Laila with an annoyed look on her face.

"Just because I am accepting him as my husband doesn't mean I am in love with him." Janvi said.

"Okay okay! I am just saying." Laila said with a shrug.

"OK laila come with me to this gift store, I need to pick up Akash's gift." Janvi said.

Laila lets out a groan but goes with Janvi anyway.

Akash

Akash once again checked his phone again to see if some one called or even dropped a message saying ' happy birthday' but none was there. Even his parents and Gani didn't wish him yet.

Janvi

"All ready?" Janvi asked everyone. All of them chorused a yes. Gani  quickly switched off the light and they waited for Akash.

Suddenly the door opened and Akash entered the room.

"Happy birthday!!!" All of them yelled together.

Akash's POV_

"Happy Birthday!" Everyone yelled as the balloons popped spilling glitter on our heads.
"Happy birthday chaparganju!" Gani wished me as he hugged me. I hugged him back.

"You arranged all this?" I asked him. He shook his head.

"Janvi did!" Gani said while pointing at Janvi who was talking with ma.

"It's time for the cake!" Laila yelled.

We all went to the cake. As everyone started singing happy birthday to me, I cut the cake.

I took the first slice and fed it Janvi while she did the same. It was the first time I saw Janvi smiling so big and the best thing about it that it was a real one.

"Akash?" Janvi called.

"Yeah?"

"Happy birthday!" She smiled.

"Thank you." I said. She gave me box wrapped with gift wrapper and left.

"I think Janvi is falling in love with you." Gani said.

"I mean she arranged a surprised birthday party for you, behaved so goodly with you." Gani explained.

"She doesn't love me. She is just pretending in front of everyone for her father's sake." I answered.

"But do you?" Gani asked. I shook my head.
