The next day, Peter stood on a makeshift stage in the palace courtyard. He could see a mix of various supernatural species. In chairs behind him sat 117 council members. He knew the goddesses had stated there were 25 more members, bringing the total to 142 Royal Supernatural Council Members.

117 SUPERNATURAL COMMITTEE MEMBERS

"Welcome to the Supernatural Royal Palace." The courtyard quieted down and everyone started to turn toward him. "I am Alpha Councilman Peter Thompson, I am the leader of the supernatural council."

A voice called out, "How can you name yourself lead? You did not have enough pull on the Werewolf Council. You should stop this false claim and that should be my spot. I am the strongest werewolf councilman." A tall man walked toward Peter.

Peter let out a growl, "Connor, you will get your chance to apply, but you will stand down now."

He growled back, but it wasn't as strong a growl. He looked confused, "How can this be? How did you sound stronger?"

Peter called out, "Guards escort him back to where he was before he interrupted."

Connor growled at the guards, "I can go there myself." He turns and walks back to wear the other werewolves councilmen were.

"Now as I was saying before being interrupted, I am Alpha Peter Thompson, and behind me are the 117 members that our various goddesses sent here yesterday to be sworn in. They have stated there will be 25 more spaces to fill. Our council will be a panel of 142 members."

He looked over the crowd. He then began to speak again. "With this council forming all other species councils will be dissolved. They will no longer have power over anyone. They will feel their power lowered to where the goddesses deem your tier to be.

All of a sudden the crowd went crazy. The council members got angry and many non-council members started cheering. Fights started breaking out.

Quiet unexpectedly the male and non-pregnant elements appeared on the wall with the king. Jonas roared and they saw him and all the elements split into two or three parts. The people applying to be part of the council froze. The pregnant elements stepped out onto a balcony where they could safely watch. If things turned ugly step back inside to protect their pups/ cubs/ children.

They saw the elementals by the king split into two or three beings: Frank, Onyx, and Jolt stepped up in front of Jonas, Lucan, and Quinton. "I am Enforcer Frank Grimloch. I will say this one time. The fighting will not start up again. All Royal Guards have been blessed with more power than any of you past councilmen. They are now being ordered that if any more punches are thrown you will be taken to the dungeon to await sentencing."

"Nephew, how dare you speak up here at the Royal Palace. You are just a trainer with no authority. As your alpha get your ass down here and you will grovel for an apology. You are nobody."

Jules steps forward, "How dare a second son of an alpha speak to the first son of an alpha in that tone. Your nephew has become an honorary member of my Raging Vatic Pack. He is an enforcer who is backed by me and King Jonas Thompson. You were placed as a temporary alpha until your nephew came of age. He is of age but you refused to train him and threatened his younger siblings. He is the true alpha and you are just a poor substitute.

"No he hasn't. He has not been granted permission to be trained since I am his and the twins' guardian."

Jonas spoke up, "I am the one who has been training him. He is of age so he doesn't need your permission. You are no longer the twins' guardians either since they both found their mate."

"They are too young to have mates."

"Uncle Connor," Finn called out, "this is my mate, Royal Beta Michelle. Not only is she my mate, but we are expecting twins, January 21. No, you are no longer my guardian."

Faye steps forward, "Uncle, my mate is Edmund Brown and he is the Royal Organizer. I am also expecting a pup on January 18. You now have no control over me."

Frank smirks, "since your meeting mates. This is my future Luna Maureen. I too will become a father on January 19. Once the council is in place I am coming for my spot. I have the blessing of the Raging Vatic alpha and my king."

"Then you will die." He turns and marches out of the courtyard.

Frank looks at the king, "I am sorry my king for bringing family matters out like this."

Jonas replied, "Nothing to apologize for. Though I have decided no future pup of mine will ever be called Connor. Now let us continue."

He turned toward the crowd. "You might not have known, I am an Elemental Wolf. Those standing around me have also been blessed with elemental powers. One of our blessings is that we can split into our separate selves and ghost guides and each part of us is of equal strength. We are honorary committee members, members and yes we can vote. Before anyone questions no we cannot cast three votes. We are not part of the 117 sworn in.

He looks at Peter on the stage. He then looks over the crowd, "If you are not part of a committee I want to request that you depart the courtyard. We will have the committee members apply first for the empty slots. Once they are done we will let others apply if there are spots left. Even if all committee slots are filled we will continue to let all be tested because you might qualify for an advisory slot."

The crowd splits and it took about an hour for there only to be committee members and Royal Warriors be the only people in the courtyard. Peter stood up again. "I would like one person from each species to step to the front. Royal Beta Upic has a piece of paper she will give you. You will write down your species. Royal Gamma Cassie has a box you will drop your paper in. Then you will rejoin the crowd. After that, we will explain the next step."

"Alpha Peter, I do have a question? My name is Mayor Dietrich Roush. I am the leader of a small group that many here do not want to recognize. I am a hybrid and I have offered sanctuary to almost 200 hybrids. I am here with three of our town council members. Will we be recognized for trying to be represented?"

Several species committee members started growling, hissing, and calling out derogatory slurs.

Alpha Peter roared, "SILENCE." The crowd got quiet but several were giving dirty looks at Dietrich and the four standing with him. "The Royal Council accepts all kinds. Mayor Dietrich is here with his council just like many of you are here with your council. They too have the right to apply. Yes, Mayor, you can represent hybrids. Beta Upic please give him a slip of paper."

Upic hands him a paper and all others who stood up there. Several were grumbling when Upic was handing out the papers and pens. She all of a sudden pushed out her aura. "The grumbling will stop now." Suddenly all grumbles stopped.

When Dietrich went to drop his paper into the box Gamma Cassie said, "I am sorry you have to deal with this racist behavior. Even if you are not chosen I would like you to work with our organizer and lawyer to incorporate laws that will protect hybrids too."

Dietrich dropped his paper in the box, "Thank you, Gamma Cassie." He walked back to his people in the courtyard.

When everyone was done and back standing with their committee Cassie went and set the box on a pedestal in front of the stage. Rodney and his sons carried out an arbor that had the Stone of Justice built into the top of the arbor.

Peter stated, "Let me introduce, Royal Gamma Rusty Suite, Elemental Power of Justice." Rusty, who was standing behind the king, stepped forward and walked down the steps heading toward the arbor. When he finally got in front of the arbor he stopped by the podium.

Rodney brought a microphone and a stand and set it up in front of Rusty. "Good morning. Thank you Rodney for setting this up for me at the last minute."

"You're welcome, Royal Gamma Rusty. It was my sons and my pleasure." He called off to the side as he was walking with his sons back toward the palace."

"Rodney, please stand by the arbor."

"Ok, Gamma Rusty."

"Will Cat Shifters Callie, Brutus, and Devin please come and stand in front of the Arbor of Justice with Rodney?" The three of them stood up on the stage and walked to the arbor and stopped by Rodney.

"Yesterday evening these three who are Grandfather Pride Leader Devin Galopalus, his son, Brutus, and granddaughter, Callie applied to join the Royal Supernatural Council. One was accepted as a council member, one was chosen as an advisor and the other was rejected from joining the council.

Rusty looked at the three."This morning I requested and they agreed to volunteer to demonstrate how the Arbor of Justice will work. Will all other shifter cats come and line up behind them?" Four other shifter cats walked up from the group and joined them.

"To make it flow quicker we are going to as a group say the pledge to apply. I will state right now that if you do not say this pledge you will automatically be rejected. Yesterday, these three said the pledge, but Rodney did not and isn't interested in being part of the committee."

"What everyone will do when called to the front is walk through the arbor. If it glows GOLD you are accepted as a committee member. If it glows BLUE you are an advisor. If it glows GREEN you are a provisional candidate. Provisional means you are under age but shows promise as a future leader. If it glows RED you are being told no for now. However, in five years you can apply again."

Rusty nodded to Peter, "Devin walk through the arbor to demonstrate." Devin walked through the arbor. The stone turned RED. "Pride leader Devin will not be part of the Royal Supernatural Committee. He is staying pride leader of the cat pride. Thank you for demonstrating." Devin nodded at Peter and turned to nod at Rusty. He then walked back to stand with the other species in the courtyard.

"Callie, will you please step forward and go through the arbor?" She turned and walked through. The stone glowed gold. She then turned and walked back onto the stage and sat with other committee members.

"Brutus your turn to walk through." He walked through and it glowed blue. "Thank you, Brutus. As an advisor when your expertise is needed, you will be called." He went to stand by his father in the courtyard.

"Rodney, your turn." Rodney walked through and it was red and then flashed orange. It went back to red.

Rusty looked around and whispered to Peter, "I have no idea what the flash of orange means." He then links, "Justine (reminder this is his guide), what was the flash of orange?"

Justine replied, "Orange indicates a very trustworthy person even if not part of the royalty pack. He is trustworthy with dual citizenship ."

Rusty replied, "Makes sense. He joined Ragic Vatic, but has been bouncing back to us also since he started at their pack. Basically saying trustworthy for dual pack citizenship."

"That is correct."

Rusty looks at Peter, "Justine says he is good, and I dual pack citizenship wolf. Now have everyone do the pledge. The red indicates he did not take the pledge. Just an FYI if anyone causes the crystal to go black they will be escorted by Royal Guard to the prison. We will have a trial later to determine your crime. Let's get the rest of the cats done, but you will have to do the pledge first. If anyone draws the cat from the box they will draw again."

Peter called out. "We are going to do the mass pledge. I will state a line and you repeat it." He looked across the field. " I, [state your name], am I old enough and mature enough to apply for the Supernatural Council?"

You hear voices repeat the words.

Next, he said, "I am honest enough to morally be on the council?"

Last words stated, "If I am accepted as a new Supernatural Council-member I swear to uphold all laws of all species and do my best for all."

Everyone repeated that.

"One of you cat shifters draw a name out of the box and call out who needs to start making their way forward."

One stepped up to the box and drew out a name. "Lycans are next."

"Now you go through. If it turns gold you go sit in a chair on the stage with the other committee members. If you are an advisor we have our committee organizer at a table by the exit. Head to that exit and pick up instructions before heading to your room. If you are not chosen you are to exit and head back to your room and prepare to depart the palace."

The four cats walked single file under the arbor. Two turned toward the stage and the other two headed toward the exit. Then the Lycan went through and it continued until all species were done. There was a sign that magically appeared above the committee that kept adding the species and totals

The last species called forward were the vampires. There were forty-two of them stepping forward when Jules who was standing with the other elementals said, "My second chance mate is down there." She started walking down the steps toward the arbor. The tallest and leader of the group stopped and turned toward Jules. He watched her as she approached he said, "My second chance beloved."
