Cassie looked over at Madeline. "I will not let you taint the ground here with your dark magic."

She looked at Cassie with distaste, "are you turned off by something I have done and said? You think you can stop me? I am older than you think."

Cassie waved her hand for a few moments and uttered what sounded like a bunch of gibberish. Everyone's mouth dropped when the witch went from being in her mid-twenties to looking over a hundred years old. Maude's voice came out, "Aunty Madeline, I knew you're still using dark magic to hide your ugliness with fake beauty. You are trying to turn others away from their true calling with fake beauty and false teachings."

"That voice sounds like Maude. How is that possible? You're not Maude. My sources reported her death."

Maude laugh's, "you see when I died my ghost was not at rest. I did not know why these last four years but I now feel it is because of you. It was because of Priestess Cassandra I discovered I could possess others. One night I came across her. She had come down with a cold and it was messing with her magic. I knew her when I was alive. She asked herself a question out loud about how she could get rid of the cold so she control her magic. I asked her if she wanted it to reply. I startled her and she started coughing and her magic went nuts. I told her I could help her if she allowed me in. She did and I possessed her for the first time. I was able to calm her magic, fever and cough.  Using her body I was able to make her a potion and got her a witches blanket that was like an electric blanket but no electricity. We talked for a bit. That was how I discovered I am able to possess other bodies for short periods of time.

I just happened to be passing by when I felt Priestess and your evil. I now possess this body until I decide I want another body or to roam again. This body I feel her power and she allows me to use her power. I am able to add my own power to her." Maude then launched a fireball at Madeline. Madeline jumps to the side and lands in a circle.

"What did you do," she shrieked as she starts to walk toward her and cannot move out of the circle on the ground, "you brat?"

Cassie looks at her, "your niece has left. While she distracted you I made a circle and your dark magic cannot taint the surrounding land. Now why are you here? I did not grant you permission to enter my coven's territory."

"I had heard my niece was in this area, but did not realize she had passed on until after I got here. I figured I would accompany Gamma Mitchell. I do wonder why she is not at rest because I do not believe her story about me being the cause. I came to remove the tainted one. I should have done that when she was a pup.  Instead I find out she is dead and can possess people to do her bidding like she did you."

"She did not make me do anything. I let her enter me because she does no harm. You would never be allowed to enter me. My body would reject your evilness. I know your practice of dark magic was banned years ago. I am now here to tell you that you need to let go of the darkness and false preaching."

She crackles, "and if I don't? I love this power."

"Then I will have to call forth our ancestors to strip you of your darken power. The darkness almost destroyed witches centuries ago and we don't want a repeat of that."

"You can't call forth the ancestors if you're dead," and she threw a death spell toward Cassie.

Frances threw up a reflective spell. It bounced back. Madeline jumped off toward the side. "Finally a worthy opponent, but my darkness is more powerful. I cannot step out of this circle but other people's magic can be thrown. I have defeated others and I absorb their remaining power since I was eighteen. I will enjoy absorbing yours."

"Unlike those other witches my parents placed a protection spell on me an infant. This has been done for generation since the last war centuries ago. This is done to every witch when they come to join my covin or go through my academy."

""what kind of protection spell can protect you after death? Answer is none because you're dead."

"This protection spell can't protect me since I would be dead. It would protect others. It is a spell that upon our deaths it absorbs our magic right into the earth. But our ghosts can call the power back to themselves while in the garden and if they want reincarnated it goes back to the earth until our rebirth."

"No spell can do that." she then throws another dark spell and it hits Cassie before anyone can react." It weakens her. "Wasn't able to reflect the spell I added invisibility too," she cackles.

Gwendolyn takes over, but her voice sounds like Cassie, "I CALL UPON MY ANCIENT ANCESTORS TO GIVE ME THE POWER TO RETURN TO THE EARTH WHAT ISN'T HER TO HAVE." A bluish icy light eliminates from her body and shoots from Cassie's chest into Madeline.

A reddish black starts seeping out of Madeline and goes into the ground. The grass she was standing on instantly died. Right outside the circle the grass becomes lush as the earth purifies the black magic to good. She screams, "no" and she disappears from the circle.

Cassie then clasp to the ground. Monroe, who had just killed a wolf leaps and stands over her to protect Cassie from the fight going on around them.

Frank was fighting Tony and had him pinned to the ground, "surrender or die, he growls."

"We would choose death."

Henry had killed three of the rogues that came out with Tony. Finn had killed one and jumped on one who had circled around Randolph and was ready to pounce on his back. Finn noticed there were three dead wolves and Randolph was fighting a fourth one. Just as Finn clamped down on the wolf's neck the fourth wolf dropped dead from Randolph's mouth. Sam was fighting off any wolf who tried to approach Jules from behind while she savagely attacked Mitchell.

She bit down on Mitchell's neck and he died right there. She started tearing apart his body. All the anger she felt from his betrayal came forth.she started tearing into him. She then howled in victory and mournful sound because her mate was dead. When that howl went up all fighting stopped.

Meanwhile back at Ragic Vatic Jonas is standing by the lodge before he went to the border where he was told Alpha Jon was at. As he stands before then headed to the border he linked his head warrior?". "How many have you brought?"

I left 145 warriors and 281 student warriors back to protect the Symposium Pack. I have 203 warriors and 140 student warriors. Plus I have 7 Alphas, 6 Beta and 3 Deltas plus their escorts with us who were visiting their pups today. I handed them all communication bracelets. They have been informed that you are in charge."

Just then Quinton merged into Jonas. "Want you to know that the guides are reporting that there are about 85 visible wolves and rogues outside the protective boundary. Then about one hundred feet into the woods are another couple hundred wolves. One mile out is about fifty wolves who seem to be patrolling watching for reinforcements. Many of them our rogues that Alpha Jon has promised them membership into his pack if they join him."

He links everyone, "those of you coming in I have been informed that around 50 wolves are patrolling the area about a mile out from this territory. You will have to take them out and remain undetected. We have about one hundred feet into the woods and a couple hundred wolves who are hiding and are ready to reinforce the visible wolves circling the evil patrol boundary. Alpha Jon and a little over 80 who are visible he is demanding to talk to me. I am on my way."

"This is Alpha Dean Hoffstetler from Crater Ravens Pack. I know my warriors and Alpha Bradley Hasler from Bracken Pack are very good at taken out scouts. We have 15 warriors with us. We can move ahead to take out those patrols if permission is granted."

Alpha Dean, that outer quadrant is broken into sixteen sections. Senior warrior you take Alpha Dean and Bradley to section one, known as orange squad and have them deploy out from there. When they clear out the patrols meet back with him.

Senior, assign six of our warriors a color and an alpha. Red squad will be sections two thru four. Purple squad will be sections five thru seven. Blue squad will be section eight thru ten. Green squad will be section eleven through thirteen. Yellow squad will be section fourteen through sixteen. Divide the remaining warriors between the six colors."

He paused, "each alpha you will lead your squad quietly up to within one hundred feet of those hidden enemies. Alpha Bradley you will take half your squad and your pack warriors and move forward.

When every color is in place, link Alpha Bradley. Bradley when all have linked you they are in place contact me. Then I will tell you to attack.

If any squad is detected or needs assistance contact Alpha Dean. Him and Senior and the other half of orange will stay back and not engage the enemy. AlphaDean's half will be your reinforcement if anyone needs assistance"

Warriors you are all to shut down your links to everyone. You are to only link to your squad alpha. Refer to him as Alpha and name squad color. Alphas you are only to keep links open to your squad members, the other alphas and myself.

I want the Deltas assigned one Beta assigned to each squad. Plus the three delta assigned to orange. Orange Beta will go with Alpha Brandley when he moves forward. The three Deltas will stay with Alpha Dean. Dean breaks your remaining squad between the three Delta and you keep your warriors with you. Assign one of my warriors to each delta. This way you can deploy four separate group to whatever color needs assistance.

Does everyone understand my order?"

An unanimous, "yes sir," is heard and then the link goes quiet.

Senior points to the seven Symposium's warriors to his right. "Each of you goes to an alpha. I will join you Alpha Dean as soon as I make sure everyone is divided." Those warriors go stand by an alpha.

"Before you too three get your panties in a war because a senior is ordering you. I am invoking my instructor's voice and that means during this part I am in charge like I am when teaching. Now all Beta's if your Alpha is here join him." Four betas move beside their alphas. "You two go to the other alphas. Deltas go to Alpha Dean." They go to stand by their alphas. "I know you top three were escorted by some of your personal warriors. Personal warriors join your top three." Those warriors move to the Alphas, Betas and Deltas.

"The escorts will take each Alpha, their own personal warriors who came with them and the Deltas to their assigned point. Alphas prior to departing you need to shut down all but Alpha Jonas, your escort, and the other alphas and your betas' link. Your escort will take you to your assigned meetup spot," He looks toward the alphas. He points to each alpha one at a time and assigns a color. "You are Red Squad, Orange Squad, Orange Squad, Yellow Squad, Green Squad, Blue Squad and Purple Squad. You will be addressed as Alpha and your color. With the Orange Squad having two alphas one of you will be known as an orange shade. Alpha Dean is Alpha Coral and Alpha Bradley is Alpha Orange.

Once Betas and I divide the remaining warriors, one of the Symposium's warriors will escort the beta and their squad to meet their assigned alpha. We have found that it makes it easier to link up with just their squads. Alpha Orange and Alpha Coral place about three hundred feet between you. That will make it easier for warriors to hook up with your squads."

He looks at the alphas, "Once you are all linked then let Alpha Coral know."

He looked toward Alpha Coral and Alpha Orange, "once every alpha has reported to you then you depart and take out the patrols. I will stay back with orange and coral squads who are not part of your pack. Alpha Coral I would like for your delta to stay back. I want to split your squad into five groups. If we need to deploy out we will have five groups we can deploy out. Myself, deltas and beta will each have a group and you can deploy out as needed."

Alpha Coral replies. "Assign each group a number that correlates to each section. They will move to the outer ring. Their job will be to go after any enemies who try to run and also move in if reinforcements are needed. Alpha Orange or I will be able to take our warriors to deploy out too if needed since we have the smallest quadrant."

"Great idea. Escorts now take your Alpha and personal warriors to their assigned sections. Betas will help me divide groups." The alpha and warriors follow their escorts and depart.

As the betas and senior divide up the warriors one of the Symposium's doctor shows up, "Senior, where do you wish for us to set up the mobile hospital?"

Senior looks at Beta Coral, "you're in charge." He looks at all the other betas, "Finish dividing them and then have your escort take you to where your Alpha is. I am taking Doc and his crew to set up behind Orange Squad. Let your Alpha know where the hospital is and that is where you bring injured warriors. I will move up to report to my section once I am sure they are ok. If I am not back for subdividing coral, make sure it gets done."

"Yes, Senior Coral." Then the doctor and Senior take off.

Back at Raging Vatic, Alpha Jonas slowly walks to the boundary. Alpha Jon smirks, "you're surrounded and outnumbered and finally come here where I called for you a while ago."

Jonas looks at him bord. "I was not worried about you. You are just a pesty fly whom I can squash like a flyswatter. I have heard about you following false teachings and trying to take one of my students who is going through my Alpha training now."

"Julianna is not an alpha. She is a warrior who is mated to my gamma. We are bringing her back for the ceremony."

"Your gamma I heard rejected her and she took off as a rogue. She came here and had formed her own pack. She is a very strong alpha."

"She is not an alpha. She is barely strong enough as a gamma."

"I heard that your wolf had to struggle not to be commanded by her and she is getting stronger as she trains."

"I will have to deal with her spreading lies. I have the council blessings to retrieve her. Give her to me and no one gets hurt."

"All students are under my protection. She can only decide if she wants to go back and she already informed me that your gamma is mated. She has refused to be a second mate or mistress."

"I guess this will be a fight then as soon as you quit cowering behind this barrier. You might be waiting for reinforcements, but they will be tied down with Councilman Bowers who should be showing up at Symposium Pack any time."

Jonas laughs, "Bowers is just a troublesome council member who is weaker than even you." He links Vicky in the safe room, "calls Peter and tells him to use witches express to get to Symposium. Tell him Ethan is heading there to try to take over while I deal with Striker Pack attack. Give him the secret phrase that grants him permission to act on my behalf."

"Ok, love you and be careful."

Jon growls, "your remark is treason against the council."

"Love you too." he closes the link. He looks Alpha Jon in the eyes. "What I said to you I have already said to his face before when he tried to place another alpha in charge of my school. I defeated that alpha."

"You have never killed any alpha."

"I did not say I killed him. I said I defeated him. He and his pack merged here. I properly trained him and now he is my senior warrior."

Jon takes a step forward and hits the barrier, "come out here coward."

"When I defeat you, I will have to decide what to do with your pack. You will be dead because I will not let you continue passing on false preaching."

Jon growls again and he puffs out his chest, "you seem all talk as you cower behind that barrier."

"You repeat yourself." He then links Senior, "Alpha Jon does not know you already left the pack. He has loose lips and let me know Bowers is up to his old tricks. My cousin should already be there to take care of him."

"Alpha Jonas, everyone has been deployed and I am with Doc. They are setting up a mobile hospital behind Orange Squad. I will rejoin the Coral squad soon. Alpha Coral and Orange have taken off to dispatch the enemy patrols."

"I will keep this alpha blabbering until you're all in place to attack. I will charge Jon as soon as I take him out. You will hear my victory howl. You are to inform the alphas to offer surrender to the enemy. The enemy warriors in their area can pledge to follow that alpha or be killed. We will just separate them between our loyal allies who supported us today."

"Yes alpha."

Alpha Coral moved forward with Alpha Orange. They came across the patrol. Orange indicated to one of his warriors and he snuck behind him in human form and grabbed the enemy wolf around the neck and snapped it. Then threw it behind some bushes.

Orange went to the left and Coral went to the right.
Coral killed 29 enemy patrol wolves and Orange killed 27 enemy patrols. When they met in the blue zone. Alpha Coral linked Alpha Orange, "let us turn around and sweep the areas again. When you get ready to leave one color zone message that alpha to move forward and quietly spread out at the patrol area. Since we are both in blue now, I will link you when I leave blue. Once we both are out of blue you link that alpha to move forward and tell him to watch for any enemy who might go check on patrols."

Orange nodded and turned around. He linked his warriors, "we will do a second sweep. When we clear each section a second time we will call for that color squad to advance forward. Make sure you do not attack any of our allies."

"Yes alpha, and they quietly go through the area. When they get to the purple and red border they hear three wolves talking, "I told Alpha Jon he should not have trusted the rogues and Anderson to patrol this area."

"I haven't seen any of them as we approached where they were suppose to be. I bet they are sleeping."

"Let us sweep a little farther out and catch them napping.

"He points to three of his warriors, "go take care of them."

The three warriors slicked back into the woods. They heard one of the enemies.exclaim, "Anderson is dead. Those rogues will be dead when I catch them."

One of our warriors exclaimed, "we already killed them," and they leaped and snapped their necks. "They obviously do not train on scent. I can smell our scents from earlier."

"Well with all the rogues they have it could be they just thought rogues."

"We don't smell anything like rogues."

Alpha Orange softly growls, "quiet down." He then links, "Alpha Purple advance. Watch for warriors checking on Enemy patrols. We just took out three of them."

There were no more incidents. Within ten minutes they were approaching the Orange area, "Alpha Red advance."

They got back and Orange looked at the six groups that Coral had. He heard Alpha Coral say, "Delta 1, head to the outer rim of blue section. Be prepared to capture or kill any who try to escape." Delta 1 took off with his group. Delta 2 was sent to green. Beta was sent to Purple. Senior was sent to yellow. Delta 3 went to Red. Alpha Coral and his warriors moved back toward the outer edge of their sections.

Alpha Orange took over with all his assigned warriors. "Let us advance to our place and spread out." He started getting links, "Alpha Blue in place." Soon all alphas reported in.

He linked Alpha Coral, "Are the outer rim in place?"

"Delta 1 said, in two minutes they will be in place."

Alpha Orange linked all alphas including Alpha Jonas, "in less than two minutes all warriors will be in place."

Jonas links all, "when I roar charge we will all attack. I am going to give Alpha Jon one last time to surrender." He looks at Jon, "I am giving you one last chance. Surrender or prepare to die."

Jon starts laughing, "you are outnumbered and cannot win. I won't be the one dying."

Jonas roars, "CHARGE." Jonas/Lucan goes running through the barrier. He shifts and heads straight toward Jon. Jon/Kyle shifts and charges toward Jonas. They both go up on their back legs and slash their front claws toward each other. Lucan's paws are longer and he slashes a gash across Kyle's chest while pushing him back with the other front paw. They drop down and Lucan circles and growls at Kyle.

Kyle snaps toward Lucans neck. He does a fake left and goes right to jump on Lucan. Lucan ducks and rolls onto his back. As Kyle leap is sailing over Lucan he uses four paws to get a couple more slashes. He pushes up and sends Kyle into a tree about ten feet away. Kyle hits his head. He shakes his head. He glares at Lucan and starts circling again. Using this time to quickly heal.

Meanwhile back at Symposium, Councilman Thompson arrived. He is met by a couple warriors. "You got here just in time. Councilman Bowers is demanding entrance to the territory."

He points to one of the warriors, "Bring me to him."

When he gets there Councilman Thompson looks shocked, "why are you here Peter?".

"My cousin invited me here to visit."

"I am here to see Alpha Thompson on council business. Where is he?"

"My cousin is right now taking care of business, and when I heard one of the warriors mention you were here Ethan I told Jonas I would see what was going on."

"Peter, my business is actually with one of his students."

"You mean with Alpha Julianna Adler? I am surprised you thought you and your cronies did not think you could make Alpha Jon's mating legal."

"I had enough support to get it passed."

"I took it to our justice system. Judges Harper, Cringle and Oliver and they looked at it and within an hour they had overturned it."

He growled, "you had no right to take it to them. We had the three-fourths majority to get it overturned."

"The judges stated there were reasons that 152 years ago the council passed the laws about forcing chosen mates, rejecting and killing fated mates, forcing second mates and mistresses. Plus making that chosen mates cannot be mated before they rejected their fated mates and was accepted once fated mates were known. The law also states if fated mates are known they must be first mate and a chosen mate if agreed upon can be second mate. The only exception to said rule is with multiples since many identical wolves share mates. You and your cronies abolishing that law would of brought us back to the dark ages where murder and rape would of been allowed with mates. They stated those reasons were still valid."

"What is barbaric is expecting us to wait for a fated mate or if you get a weak fated mate. Some cases you may not ever meet your fated mate."

"We did not make it illegal to choose a chosen mate if you have not met your fated mate. They can still choose a mate as long as that wolf is not already mated."

"You still had no right to overturn our law. I am heading back and am going to get you removed from the council."

"I have not done anything illegal. While you and your cronies should be the ones removed for try I g to sanction illigal laws that support murder and rape."

"I can have the support of the council to have you removed."

"Try your best. I have the justice system on my side."

"You haven't heard the last of this Peter. I am going to sanction that the councils take over this school, demote your cousin and you. Your family needs to get knocked down a couple pegs."

"My family helps take care of the whole pack. We help other packs live by the Moon Goddess ways and become stronger as one. Striker pack.use to be the top pack on the east coast and now they have fallen to six place. They get weaker as they fall away from her."

"The Moon Goddess is hogwash that ancient wolves taught to use as a discipline. Moon Goddess ways do not belong in the modern age."

"You will be sorry when you end up in the river of misery and not the beautiful garden."

"When you die you just die. You can't con me with these talks."

"When you get back I will call you before the inquiry and get you removed." He turns and walks away.

Lucan has Kyle penned. He shifts to Jonas, "surrender or die."

Kyle growls. One of Kyle warriors shouts in link, "we have lost. It is time to admit defeat."

Another soldier shouts in link, "Alpha Kyle has said he would rather die than admit defeat. I would rather surrender and go back to my family. This isn't my fight. I believe and have my true mate." He goes down on knees and offers his neck to alpha Jonas.

A third warrior shouted in the link, "I FOLLOW MY ALPHA. I WILL LIVE OR DIE FOR OUR LEADER."

Alpha Kyle links his warriors, "You are one of my senior warriors Quinton and you surrender?"

Quinton replies for all to here in the link, "sir we have lost. Alpha Jonas has offered us surrender so we can live to go back to be with our families. Many of us in Striker still believe in true mates. Several do have chosen mates, but we all have pups we want to go back home too. I am choosing our family since our pack has lost. You no longer will be our alpha."

Several who were still injured bent their necks in surrender or many uninjured went down to their knees and surrendered. Jonas who saw what was going on linked to his followers, "accept the surrenders. Only go after those still fighting."

Alpha Coral asked, "what about the runners?"

"Capture those you can. If it means attacking and killing them capture their scent and let them depart. Will send you after them once we pay respect to the fallen."

Alpha Kyle who saw what was going on shouted out, "kill the cowards who are surrendering." The ones who were still loyal to Alpha Jon started going after their own warriors and rogues who had surrendered. doubled his effort to get away

Jonas, who saw what was going on, linked and shouted, "PROTECT THE ONES WHO SURRENDERED."

The fight shifted from fighting the enemy to protecting those who surrendered.

Jonas looked at Kyle and rolled his eyes, he then commanded out in both voice and link. "YOU HAVE LOST, SURRENDER." All that had been attacking on both sides stopped and went submissive.

Guide Quinton all the sudden announced to Jonas and all other guides, "my king. A new KING OF THE WEREWOLVES HAS AROSE."

The elementals near by started shouting as other guides shared with the Guide Quinton's announcement, "King Jonas Thompson. A new king is born. The wolves nearby joined in the chant

With that announcement Kyle shifted back to Jon. "Him, King?" He then spits Jonas in the face. Guide Quinton takes control. The wolves nearby are shocked when they see Jonas split apart. They see Jonas, Lucan and a solid Quinton form and all three radiate three equally strongest aura they ever felt. Quinton leans forward and snaps Jon's neck. It went quiet and they all knelt to honor King Jonas. Everyone could feel Jonas' power grow as the former kings and queens passed more of their power to the three equally strongest beings.

Then all heard Alpha Jules' sudden mournful cry of victory. Jonas howled back in a mournful reply and all other joined him.
