*Kalyan Pov*

"Yes! We are finally going there." Chitra was excited about so many places for sure but seems like nothing can reach the level like she is for this specific beach.

I think between the six of us, she is the one who is looking forward to each day and she was like that from the beginning we talked about this trip.

"I am sure you are very excited about this." Preetha mumbled yawning.

Everyone was still tired after yesterday's water sports, but it is not disturbing Chitra at all. As the beach is far away from our hotel, we started our journey way early and that resulted in making them feel still sleepy.

"Why? Is something else is there that she is hiding?" Rashmi asked looking at Preetha.

"No!" she immediately replied and I shook my head at Rashmi's curiosity, but I know she will not ask anymore after hearing that reply.

"Then I am going to sleep. You guys wake me up when we reach there." She said, leaning back properly while Chitra frowned at her.

"You spent most of the day yesterday by sitting and just roaming around the beach. Why are you still sleepy?" she asked, shaking her head.

"Because these are holidays." Rashmi replied as if that answers everything and shifted a little with an irritated expression.

"But if we stay there for a long time, then will it not be too late to return back to the hotel and to even find the vehicle." She added after a few minutes looking at Rohan.

"We booked it for the whole day. You need not worry about it and go to sleep." He replied rolling his eyes.

"Even I want to but it is not comfortable to sleep like this." She said sighing.

"We are sorry that there is no bed for you to sleep in this vehicle." Karthik joked and she stared at him for a few seconds before smiling.

"Thanks for your concern, Karthik." Saying that she moved a little and placed her head on his shoulder before closing her eyes.

"She doesn't leave him alone too if he makes a joke on her." Chitra mumbled shaking her head smiling.

"Will you enjoy today more than our date?" I asked her in a whisper.

"Of course!" she replied, smiling and looked outside.

Now I am curious about the reasons for her excitement, but I let it go, knowing well I can't find the answer even if I try my best to drag it out of her. I closed my eyes, trying to sleep along with others as it will be nearly afternoon by the time we can reach that place and we have to travel by boat too.

"Guys, let's have breakfast from here. He is saying the food will be fine and we need to get parcel for our lunch too." I opened my eyes to see everyone woke up hearing Rohan except for Rashmi who is still sleeping on Karthik's shoulder.

"Rashmi!" Preetha called to wake her up.

"Let her sleep." He waved her off.

"What about you? Even you need to eat, right?" she asked looking at him.

"Just get sandwiches for both of us if possible. We will stay here." He replied, leaning back and closed his eyes, ignoring all of us while we still feeling shock got down from the vehicle.

"I think we can just name them as sandwich couple." Chitra commented shaking her head.

"He got that habit from her only as far as I know." Preetha mumbled while walking away with her towards the washrooms and Rohan and I went to the Men's side.

"Will he not come out for at least washrooms?" Rohan asked, looking at me when we walked into the restaurant while glancing at our vehicle.

"We will try to wake her up after we go back and then both of them can get down." I replied, sitting down and the girls joined us within a few minutes.

"For booking the vehicle for the whole day, will it cost too much?" Preetha asked when we walked near to the vehicle.

"Even you started asking about all this? Just enjoy the trip." I replied, smiling at her.

"Well, we have to pay our part too right." She pointed out.

"We will talk about all that after returning to Kanpur." I said, waving her off and opened the door to get inside and wake them up.

"Is she still sleeping?" Rohan asked following us and we all stared at the two people in front of us in confusion.

At present, they are sitting completely apart from each other and looking in the opposite direction. Okay! What happened to them now?

"Finally sleeping beauty is awake. You both can go out if you want. We will wait for some time." Rohan said, looking at them.

"Fine!" they both said at the same time and immediately added, "It's okay! I am fine here."

"What happened to both of you? Did you give him..." Chitra was cut off as Rashmi immediately mumbled, "Everyone is behind my sleep only."

"Exactly! It is a common thing, but you guys still talk as if it is something new. We all know that we shouldn't talk about cooking or sleep when it comes to her, right?" Rohan commented making us all laugh except these both.

"You guys have no idea." She mumbled, opening the door and got down while Karthik stayed at his place still looking outside.

"Did you guys had a fight again?" I asked sitting beside him.

"Maybe!" he mumbled and we didn't stretch the topic.

"You need not get down, right?" I asked him again to confirm when she opened the door and he shook his head in negative.

"Wait! Let me move." I said, moving to the window side but she pushed me back to the middle before sitting at my previous place.

"I want to sit here." Saying that she closed the door.

"You will not mind if I lean on your shoulder suppose I want to sleep, right?" she asked, looking at me and I stuttered hearing her question.

Seems like they both had a major fight for her to act like this. I glanced at Chitra who just rolled her eyes, hearing her and turned to sit properly in her seat.

"The door can also be used for such purposes by the people who can actually think." Karthik commented and I stared at them one after the other.

"I want to be alive when we reach the beach." I mumbled leaning back and they both turned back to stare outside.

"It's a good thing that we will reach there within a few minutes." Rohan mumbled, looking at me and they both didn't touch the sandwiches we bought for them.

"We should have gone through trekking." Chitra commented when we got down from the vehicle and walked towards the boats.

"Then we all would have stopped in the midway except for you. Then you would be enjoying the beach alone." Rohan said, looking at her and she scowled at him.

"Then she would have been more than disappointed." Preetha teased her.

"Why are you silent? It's scares me more when you don't react the usual way." She commented holding Rashmi's hand.

"Even I think we should have gone trekking." That's the reply she got and we all stared at her in shock.

"Okay! I think we will be stuck here if we try to dig deeper into that statement. Let's go and take the boat. And it is better to leave before sunset from the beach. So, even if we come separately, be here by six for sure near the vehicle." Rohan said looking at all of us.

"I wish it would have been possible to stay there for more time." Chitra mumbled, walking near me and took my hand when we started walking towards the boats.

Everything was fun, even the boat travelling and we were taking pictures too, but we were not ignorant the way Karthik and Rashmi kind of staying away from each other.

"Wow! I guess we are the only ones here." Chitra commented looking around.

"There are a few there and I don't think there will be many as it is a weekday." I said when I found other people.

"Here! Let's separate food and water between us." Preetha said, passing us the parcels we bought and it was a good thing that we asked them to pack separately.

"Okay! We can now dissemble as couples from this group." Rohan said, holding Preetha's hand and walked away while Chitra dragged me.

"They will be fine." she assured me when I turned around to see they both are still standing there looking at the direction opposite to each other.

"Do you know sometimes we can watch butterflies from here too?" Chitra asked when we reached the place away from others.

"I guess we can't watch them today." I mumbled looking around.

"It would be amazing if it is possible to watch them every day, right?" she asked, looking at me smiling and I nodded smiling back.

"There is really no one here." I mumbled when we sat down to have our lunch near the cave under the shade.

"So, why do you like this one so much?" I asked looking at her.

"Well, even though it is a public place we can have privacy too. And I need to ask for something, but I don't want to do it privately. Then again, I don't want to feel humiliated or sad before others if it doesn't go the way I wish." She replied shrugging.

"Wow! That was such a clear answer." I teased her and she just shook her head before looking at the ocean.

We enjoyed our time together and when it is near to four, I thought it would be best if I go along with my plan. I should have done this at the hotel itself, but I thought I should do it at the place I know she will be very happy.

"Chitra!" I called her from the place I am sitting and she walked towards me after taking one final turn in the water.

After she sat down, I smiled at her and opened my mouth, but she suddenly asked, "Do you remember what did I tell you about butterflies here?"

"Yeah! What about them?" I asked her frowning.

"Like butterflies, even I wish I can see you everyday and not just during college and on our planned dates. After two years, even that will not be possible. So, I want to ask ahead that, will you let me see you every day?" she asked looking at me.

"What I mean to say is that, will you marry me? Not right now, but after college for sure." She added when I sat stunned hearing her.

Okay! That was so not what I was expecting for sure and I don't think I ever felt this stunned in my life. She stared at me for a few minutes while I tried to overcome my shock.

"Damn! Just forget I said all that." Saying that she stood up holding her bag and started rushing back to the place from where we walked to this spot.

"Wait!" I shouted, running after finally recovering from my shock.

"I think I should stay alone for some time." She said when I finally took hold of her hand reaching her.

"No! I think you should hear me more than anything." Saying that I took out the box from my bag and opened it to show the ring.

"What... what is this?" she asked, looking at me brushing away her tears.

"I was planning to propose to you right now. And that's why I was so shocked." I explained and she glanced at the ring and then at my face.

"Are you serious?" she asked, sniffing and I nodded, taking out the ring before putting it on her finger.

"Thanks for reducing my job." I said, pulling her into my arms and kissed her.

"Wait! We are in public place and someone could be watching us." She mumbled pulling back.

"I think I deserve this for getting proposed by my girlfriend." Saying that I pulled her back for another kiss and started walking a little towards the shade to not let her feel awkward but I kept on kissing her in between not letting her go. I seriously can't believe the turn of events at all.

*Rohan Pov*

"Next time, let's plan a trip just for two of us. I don't think no matter what we do this will ever be a couple's trip." I said when we finished our lunch after a long swim in the ocean.

"Hmm? Why?" she asked, frowning at me.

"Well, we didn't utter a single word to each other." I pointed out and she smiled nodding.

"I was thinking about something." She mumbled, shaking her head.

"It's the same case for me. I was thinking about Karthik and Rashmi and worrying whether their friendship will get ruined because of my plan as they are just fighting most of the time." I explained.

"And you seem to be worrying about something too." I added looking at her.

"I am worrying about the other couple and don't ask the reason." She said looking at me and we both burst out laughing.

"God! It's feels like we are parents to them." I commented and she nodded while calming down.

"Well, let's enjoy at least before leaving." She said, placing the empty covers back into her bag.

"Why don't we lie down here and spend some time together peacefully?" I asked and she immediately nodded.

We laid back under the shade and closed our eyes. I smiled hearing just the waves and nothing else. I guess that's the beauty of this beach where you can have privacy which many of us need to enjoy the nature completely.

After some time I opened my eyes and turned to see her sleeping peacefully. I smiled looking at her and felt relief that she is not going to leave me.

I finally achieved what I wanted to through this trip and maybe that's why I am concentrating more on that new couple as it was kind of possible because of them.

"It's nearly four. Why don't we go and check whether they are still alive or killed each other?" she asked after she woke up from her nap.

"Sure! I don't think I want to get back into the water." I said, getting up and we both started walking towards the place from where we walked here.

"Oh!" she mumbled after a few minutes and I glanced at the place where she is staring only to look away.

"I can't believe they are kissing right here." I said, chuckling and she shook her head at me to not make a sound.

"Seems like he accepted her proposal." She commented and I felt surprised hearing that because Kalyan was planning to propose to her on this trip too.

"Looks like we all got a happy ending just like we wished. They both are settled and you are not going to leave me. But these two..." she cut me off by asking, "What do you mean I am not leaving?"

"You are not going to leave India for that university, right." I explained.

"Who said that?" she asked, frowning and I stared at her in shock.

"We are back on good terms. Or did you already forget what happened the day before yesterday?" I asked frowning at her.

"I can't believe you are talking about it in this way. Just get lost." Saying that she walked in the opposite direction going the same way we went before.

"You can't just walk away like that." I said following her while raising my voice.

I can't believe that just a few moments before I thought everything was perfect, but now nothing is good. I thought following her and finally reached her, but she sat not letting me say anything else and I sat beside her calmly not wishing to say anything stupid in my anger.

I guess we can't have our conversation today and I have to wait for tomorrow, but I don't want to leave her alone making her think that I am even one percent fine with her decision and thinking.

*Karthik Pov*

I don't think I have ever swam this much in my life and I don't think she has walked that much involving a small bit of the area too in a single day. I shook my head and swam more away from her sight while she continued to walk just a tiny bit of area to and fro around our bags.

"I will stay in the water." "I will stay here as you don't have your phone with you." That's what we exchanged the moment our friends left us after coming to this beach.

If there were a few people then I would have felt fine to stay on shore along with her but a little away. However, it feels like only we both are here and we didn't have lunch too.

Why did all that happened and to top of that why did I react in that way? I should just go and apologize, right? Otherwise, I think I will get water phobia soon if I don't go out.

I smiled, leaning back a little more so that she can sleep more freely and placed my hand on her shoulder as her head is slipping slightly and she may wake up because of that.

I closed my eyes and drifted off into sleep feeling myself comfortable too. However, I felt a moment and immediately woke up to see she is waking up.

I turned my face towards her head asking, "Are you awake..." but it got cut off as she too looked up at the same moment and my lips touched at the corner of her mouth.

She stared at me wide eyed and I was doing the same. I opened my mouth to speak, but my mistake was that I didn't move back and that caused my action into a proper kiss rather than a peck like before.

"Hey!" she said immediately moving away and shifted completely towards the other end of the seat.

Crap! What should I tell her and what can I even tell her? And why is she looking at me with that accusing stare? Does she think I did it on purpose?

"It's all because of you. Why did you fall asleep on my shoulder?" I asked and immediately recognized that I just uttered the most stupid words I could never even think in my dreams.

"What? Are you serious?" she asked, staring at me in shock and I can't blame her.

Before I can say anything else, we both heard the door opening and I turned towards the window, feeling more embarrassed and she too didn't say anything else.

I felt relieved when they asked if we want to step out and I immediately accepted, but even she did the same. So, I rejected the idea and to my luck, she uttered the same words.

When they started teasing about her sleep and cooking, she suddenly said, "You guys have no idea." And walked out.

Is she talking about what just happened? I thought, frowning and felt anger when she decided to sit at that end only. Does she think I took advantage of her or what?

And she asked Kalyan about sleeping because of my words, but I only felt more irritated and told her to use the door itself showing the irritation.

I took a deep breath, realizing it is very late and we may have to leave soon too. So, I started moving closer to the shore and finally reached my bag which she didn't observe and stood still when she reached that point.

This is still awkward, I thought turning to my right, but stopped when I saw Kalyan and Chitra kissing right there. I immediately turned straight and met Rashmi's stare before realizing even she witnessed it.

This time I turned left and felt even more shock hearing Rohan and Preetha fight. They walked away from that place, but I know if I go that side, I may have to witness their fight.

"Crap!" we both mumbled at the same time realizing we can't go right, even though that kissing couple just walked away or left and it is even more awkward to stay like this. What should we do now?
