We sat across from each other. His eyes focused on mine.

I looked down and went back to writing. Only to realize I had been writing Mr. Harry Malfoy.

Blushing faintly, I flipped the paper over and tried to focus in my potions class.

"Everyone!" Snape called from the front of the classroom. "You'll be partnered up." The class sighed. "I will partner you up."

I zoned out until Snape said my name.

"Harry Potter. And Draco Malfoy."

Just my luck. Partnered up with Draco.

"Potter."

"Malfoy."

That was the beginning of the end.

The end of my being single.
