The team had a mission to raid a HYDRA base. They were near the end of raiding the base when a few of them came across something In the snowy forest. Alanza, Namya, Clint and Natasha spotted It. But It wasn't just anything, It was a wolf pup and a very large one at that. The pup was light grey with a white underbelly and had dark amber eyes. It stared up at them, ears falling back as It tried to shrink Into Its tiny body. Alanza tilted her head, she cautiously and slowly padded forwards. The large, white, she-wolf stopped In front of the pup and sniffed at It. It smelt familiar to her. "Mom, It smells like you." Namya muttered, sensing the heartbeat of the younger animal. Alanza flicked an ear, nudging the chubby pup's side with her nose, causing It to tumble over onto Its back. The pup whined, but the large she-wolf smelt awfully familiar to It. Alanza sniffed the pup over, quickly figuring out Its gender. 'Hey, little one.' She spoke softly, lowering herself to the ground so the pup didn't feel Intimidated. The pup whimpered In response. 'Do you have a name?' She gently asked, tail curling around her hind quarters. 'C- Caspian..' The male pup stuttered out. Alanza smiled, licking the pup's head. Caspian relaxed, wiggling his way In between the front paws of the she-wolf. Something clicked In Alanza's head. This was hers. This Is her pup. It was as If someone flipped a switch. Alanza curled a paw In, bringing the pup closer to her body. She saw the bow that Clint held and the gun Natasha had and snarled, her pupils dilating. The she-wolf repositioned herself so she was crouching over the pup, lips pulled back and teeth bared at the two assassins. She didn't growl at Namya because that was also her child.
Namya turned towards Natasha. "Her aura changed.. someone needs to get Bucky, or even Bruce." She whispered. Natasha nodded, bringing a hand up to her comm. "Guys, we have an Issue." She spoke quietly. "What Is It now?" Tony asked through the comm link. "We found a wolf pup and Alanza turned feral towards Clint and I." She replied. "Shit. Okay. Bruce, Bucky, you get that?" Tony asked. "Yeah." Bucky grunted, punching a HYDRA agent. Bruce, who had stayed back In the jet, answered. "Where are you, Nat?" Natasha answered Bruce, telling him she'd send him her coordinates. Both assassins didn't dare step closer to the feral she-wolf In case she lashed out. Clint moved slightly and Alanza's hackles stood up, her frame stiffening as her snarls grew louder. Alanza barked at Namya, calling the polar bear hybrid over to her. She wanted her children next to her so she could protect them.
Bruce soon arrived. He assessed the situation. Turning to Natasha and Clint, he gave them a stern look. "Weapons away." The two assassins complied, putting their weapons away. Bruce then turned towards Alanza, he approached her cautiously and slowly. Alanza's snarls faltered at the sight of Bruce, before continuing. The she-wolf positioned herself over both Namya and Caspian, ears back, tail down and hackles up. Bruce raised his hands up slowly In surrender, lowering himself to the ground once In arms reach of the she-wolf. "I have no weapons on me. See?" Alanza looked him over, her snarls residing to low growls. Bruce didn't make a move towards the pup or Namya, Incase It set her off. Instead, he gently reached his hand out. Alanza reached her head out, sniffing his hand, recognition flashed In her eyes and fogged up state of mind. Bruce smiled softly, slowly placing his hand on the side of her furry face. His other coming up and running through her fur. "There we are. See, It's just me, Alanza." He said softly. Alanza whined softly, her fogged up state of mind disappearing slowly. She pushed her head Into his chest, pupils returning to normal size. Bruce chuckled quietly. "There you are. Now, who's the little guy?" He asked, referring to the wolf pup still under her. Alanza pulled out of his grasp, stepping off of both the pup and Namya. Caspian whimpered, curling In on himself as he looked up at the human. "His name Is Caspian." Alanza Informed quietly. Bruce smiled, reaching out and gently running his hand down Caspian's back. "Man Is he a big pup." He commented. Namya listened to the Interaction. Jealousy slowly biting at her. Alanza smiled, her tail twitching. "He smells a lot like me. And everything Inside of me Is saying he's mine." Bruce rose an eyebrow, but didn't question It. Maternal Instinct, he guessed. The curly haired scientist looked to Alanza then down at the pup. "I can see the resemblance. It would explain how big he Is." He mumbled. Caspian huffed. "Is you calling me fat?" He squeaked out. Bruce looked shocked for a second. "No, not at all." He laughed lightly. Caspian let out a "Hymph" and made his way closer to Alanza. "..Definitely your personality." He muttered under his breath.
"Yo, we gotta move. We got the files we needed." Tony spoke up through the comm link. "Alright." Bruce answered. He stood up. "We've gotta get back to the jet." He Informed everyone around him. Alanza leaned down and picked up Caspian by the scruff, trotting after Bruce. 'Come on Namya.' She called to her daughter, voice slightly muffled. The five, and newest addition, Caspian, made their way to the jet. This was going to be fun to explain to the team.
