"So why are you smiling like a lunatic?"

Jungkook was gazing at his laptop with a subconscious grin on his face, his fingers simply resting on the keys, not typing anything.

"Jungkook?" Hoseok waved his hand in front of the younger's face, snapping him out of his daze.

"Hm?"

"I said, why are you grinning like crazy? Because I don't it's because of-" Hoseok leaned over to look at the laptop screen, "-Mr Kim's refusal to accept the building deal," He finished off with raised eyebrows.

"Huh? Oh, nothing," Jungkook shook his head slightly but the grin didn't remove itself from his lips, causing Hoseok to give an amused smirk.

"You look like...you look like you've seen someone you like," He mused, and knew he'd hit the nail on the head when the younger blushed a faint pink, and Hoseok clapped his hands like a seal as he let out an excited laugh.

"Ayyy, our Jungkookie's found someone!" He thumped the younger's back, causing the latter to let out a groan.

"Hyung," Jungkook whined, brushing him off and crossing his arms.

"So who is he?" Hoseok asked.

"I don't know."

"You don't know?" Hoseok scrunched up his nose in confusion. "How can you not know?"

Jungkook sighed, uncrossing his arms again.
"Yesterday I went to a café-"

"Wait! I kindly offered to do your work for you so you could rest, and you went on a date?!" Hoseok screeched before Jungkook cut him off.

"No! I needed a coffee so I stopped at this little café I saw and ordered a caramel macchiato. So while I was at my table waiting for this macchiato, I saw the most perfect guy..." Jungkook trailed with a smile, and Hoseok grinned.

"Did you get his number?"

"No," The younger shook his head.

"Damn! What's his name?"

"I don't know," Jungkook bit his lip.

"You're useless," Hoseok rolled his eyes. "Why didn't you ask?"

"I don't know! I was nervous! I don't speak to good looking guys everyday!" Jungkook threw up his hands in exasperation.

"Yeah you do, you speak to me everyday," Hoseok pointed out with a smirk; Jungkook punched his arm.

"Shut up hoe."

"Alright alright. Just go get his name, at least. Try for his number too," Hoseok grinned, pushing the boy out of his chair as the clock struck 5pm, signalling the end of Jungkook's shift.
"Good luck!"

"Er, hello again," Jungkook smiled.

"Hello," Yoongi nodded in greeting, watching as Jungkook scanned the menu board once more.

"I'll have the same as yesterday, a caramel macchiato," He shrugged, and Yoongi nodded as he typed in the order.

"Then you know the price, kid."

"I'm not a kid," Jungkook frowned as he handed over the money, and Yoongi just smirked, heading for the kitchen and let the door swing shut behind him. Jungkook quickly scurried to the kitchen door, peeking through the small window to see if he can spot the boy again.

And there he was, in all his glory, as Yoongi went over and spoke to him, and Jungkook watched as the boy started to prepare a drink. His drink.

What a pleasure, Jungkook thought, to be able to drink what was made by his hands.

I bet it will taste amazing.

He grinned, before quickly hurrying back to his seat as he saw Yoongi approaching the door again, slumping into his chair pretending to be occupied on his phone.

Please let it be him.

Please let it be him.

Please let it be him.

Please let it be-

"Here you go!"

A deep unfamiliar voice.

Jungkook opened his eyes to see a boy stood in front of him, placing his drink on the table. He had straight browny caramel hair with a box-shaped smile.

Not him.

Jungkook couldn't help but feel disappointed, but smiled none the less.

"Thanks..." He took his glass and the barista give him another grin before popping back to the kitchen.

He looked down at the glass, the liquid the perfect brown topped off with the perfect size swirl of soft whipped cream and the perfect drizzle of caramel and-

Okay Jungkook don't be extreme it's just a drink. Chill.

He brought the cup to his lips and took a sip, sighing at the flavour that was just right, not too sweet but not too bland.

Of course, it was made by the hands of him, of course it would be perfect.

Jungkook debated internally before deciding to risk another peek through the kitchen door. Finishing off the delicious beverage, the boy stood up from his chair and slyly ended up at the door, glancing through the window and to his delight the boy was in perfect view, by the sink.

He was washing dishes again, and Jungkook smiled at how he kept flicking his head back yet his fringe persisted in falling in his eyes. He could see the boy had toned arm muscles and-

"What are you doing."

Jungkook stumbled backwards, so caught up in admiring the mystery boy that he failed to notice that he had been spotted.

"What are you doing?" Yoongi repeated, raising an eyebrow.

"Nothing! Nothing," Jungkook laughed nervously, "I'm just leaving..."

Yoongi's eyebrow raised up higher.

"Pretty sure the door is that way," He pointed in the opposite direction.

"Yeah, yeah I know...." Jungkook quickly bowed and rushed out, almost tripping on the step as he heard Yoongi snort behind him.

Once he was sure he was out of sight, he stopped and sighed.

Why couldn't he just ask him his name?
