Ever since that night Y/n gave me the bracelet, I haven't taken it off since.

I don't want to, it's really weird.

I haven't been able to stop looking at her either, once she even caught me.

-Flashback-

I was sitting next to Y/n at lunch and I couldn't stop watching at her fix her hair after she was done.

She glared at me and noticed me looking at her.

"Uh...what's up Max?"

"What?" I asked.

"You keep looking at me so..."

"NO I WASN'T!" I yelled at her.

"Okay..?" She raised an eyebrow

I stormed off out of the Mess Hall after that.

-End of Flashback-

That was one of the most embarrassing things I've ever done, and I still can't stop!

I want to solve this problem but I just can't.

I decided to go ask Neil if he knew what was wrong with me.

"Neil, I think I have a problem," I told him.

"What?" He asked.

"I can't stop looking at Y/n."

"Hm. Do you feel nervous around her, like so much that your stomach feels weird?" He asked.

"Yeah, a little," I answered.

"Does it make you feel upset if she's upset or crying?" Neil raised his eyebrow.

"Actually, Yeah."

"Do you try to be nice and control your temper around her?"

"I try," I shrugged.

"Do you feel jealous when she's around other guys?"

"Sort of," I responded.

"Lastly, Do you think she's beautiful or, at least pretty?" Neil asked.

I felt my cheeks heat up, almost burning.

"I...I...Yeah. I think she's really pretty," I admitted.

"Well then you should know exactly what's going on," Neil shrugged.

"WHAT IS IT?!" I tugged on the collar of his shirt.

"Max. It's pretty obvious you have feelings for her," Neil answered.

//Your POV//

"WHAT?!"

Someone yelled so loud that birds flew out of their trees in a panic.

It sounded familiar but I just shrugged it off.

I walked over to Jaiden, who has looking at the flowers on the ground.

"Hey, Jai," I greeted her surprising her.

"Ah! You scared me!" She laughed.

"Soooo, How was last night?" I asked referring to her being with Neil.

"It was awesome! He told me all this cool scientific stuff! He said that he was way too much of a nerd and nobody would think he's cool but I told him he was perfect just the way he was, and he even blushed!" Jaiden fangirled.

"That's amazing, Jaiden! Now I'll just have to hide behind the bushes on every date you have just in case if he hurts your feelings!" I laughed sarcastically.

"Y/n! That's not gonna happen, or at least right now. But still, thanks for always having my back," Jaiden smiled.

"Anytime," I smiled back.

//Max's POV//

"Neil, I think all that science made you lose it," I suggested in denial.

"No Max. You show all the signs," Neil squeezed in between his eyes.

"But...holy shit," I realized the truth.

Neil was right, I do have a crush on Y/n.

Her sweetness, her honesty, and her beauty, it's all that made me fall for her.

Her smile is just so contagious.

Her (e/c) eyes I could get lost in.

Her beautiful, (h/c), (h/l), hair that always smelled really nice. (which I learned from all the times I've hugged her)

The fact that she's a couple inches shorter than me (yes you are) and has to stand on her tippy toes to reach my height.

Y/n was just too beautiful for comprehension.

"Neil...what am I gonna do?" I groaned.

"I say you tell her the truth."

"What do you mean?" I asked.

"Max, you're such an idiot when it comes to girls," Neil shook his head as if he was better at talking to girls than me, "Ask her out!"

"But what if she says no?!"

"But what if she says yes?" Neil asked.

"Max, you can't hide your feelings from her. You have to tell her the truth, you are her friend, after all. If anything, you guys will remain friends and nothing less. Although, I have the feeling she'd say yes. Either way, if you hold in your feelings too long it'll become too obvious," Neil explained.

"*Sigh* You're right," I sighed as I adjusted the bracelet she gave me.

Just then David started ringing this hand bell that he just bought and I already despise.

We all gathered to where he was.

Y/n walked next to me and Neil, pushing Jaiden in her wheelchair.

She waved to me.

"Hey," I whispered.

"Hey," She whispered back.

I raised my sleeve slightly to reveal the bracelet.

"Wait, you like it?" She asked, still whispering.

"Yeah. Thank you," I nodded.

"Wow really?! I honestly thought you'd throw it out," She blushed a little bit which was cute.

"No way! If you made it, I'd totally where it," I smiled.

She blushed even more after that.

"T-thanks," She stuttered.

"Okay Campers, today our camp will be, dancing!"
