Light X Reader

You shifted yourself to get comfortable on your desk after lunch. Being a nerd, you took all your books out and propped them on your table getting ready for your next class.

That's when you saw 'him' enter. 'Him',Light Yagami. Your all time secret crush. He was so soft and kind that you doubted such a guy could even exist.

You had been studying with him right from kindergarten. Sure you worked with him in many assignments in your middle school but he thought of you only as a friend. But you wanted him to like you at least half as much as you did.

You both never really interacted much on topics apart from studies. You sighed as you knew you weren't his type and he'd never think of you more than a friend.

"Hey (y/n)."Light walked over to your seat and gave you his 'Oh so cute smile'.

"H-hi Light,"you cursed yourself for sluttering but you couldn't help it.

"How have you been?"He asked as he placed a hand on your desk and bended a little.

"G-good...yeah, I-Im good...haha,"you gave a nervous laugh.

'Seriously,stop with this sluttering (y/n) or he's gonna go away'

"Well That's.....nice,"he smiled.

You were thinking of a topic to talk about.

"S-so, how are your studies going on?"You asked although you knew he tops every time and you always come second.

"Yeah,its going on as usual,"he answered. Then again there was this awkward silence. You kept tapping your fingers on your knees below the desk. You were really nervous while you talked to him but you were smiling extrinsically.

Light dragged a chair from a near by desk and positioned it across from you,he sat down. You continued to rub you hands unable to figure out what you should do as your nervousness was bugging you .

"You look really beautiful today (y/n),"Light complimented.

'What was that?...did he just say I look beautiful today....like really or Am I just hearing my imagination?' You thought.

He snapped his fingers in front of your face. "Hey,(y/n),you there?"

"U-uh yeah...T-thank you. Thank y-you."you blurted out the words as you brought yourself out of your thoughts. Light just snickered and this made you flush red due to embarrassment.

"Your so cute when you blush," he continued to chuckle making your cheeks burn, your cheeks turned to a darker shade if that was even possible.

As you were having your little chat,the class rep barged in. All the students looked at him. "Everyone! Attention please! Our class today has been canceled due to the absence of our (insert random subject) teacher. You are free to do your desired taks or whatever. But you are not permitted to leave this class," he continued to speak but the class was already on an outroar.

After a few minutes a group of girls came forward in front of the class. "Guys and Gals, let's play a game. Shall we?" one of them announced and everyone seemed to be interested. By the smirk she had,you could tell she had something going on in her mind.

All of them gathered around. You didn't wanna go, but when Light asked you to join him, you instantly agreed.

"So Ally,What are we playing?" a guy asked.

"Were gonna play the pocky game." she had an evil grin plastered on her face. Instantly your face was covered with a blush. You had heard of the game.

The game requires two members, a boy and a girl. The two ends of a pocky stick are placed on the their mouths and they start biting it. The first one to pull away looses.

As soon as she said that,you could hear wolf whistles coming from all sides.

"The names of girls are written in these chits,"she held out a bowl which had many pieces of folded papers. "I'll call out the name of a guy and he has to pick a chit, and they play the game. Let's start,"Ally continued.

"(Random guy),you can choose first,"she pointed out. He came out and picked a chit and the game started.

(Random girl) and (Random guy) started eating the pocky slowly. In about twenty seconds (random girl) pulled away.

"Such a pussy cat,"Ally laughed making the whole class laugh at her. This made you really nervous and you prayed that no one should pick you.

"Light, now you pick,"she brought the bowl of chits to Light. "Me? Oh. No. I'm not interested in playing," he refused.

"Awww....,"you heard girls pouts.

"Please Light,"you heard a girl say.

"Come on,"you heard another one say.

"Its just a game,"Ally said and he finally agreed."Okay! okay."

'Wow, Light is really very popular'.your thoughts made you sigh.

Light picked up the chit and looked at it. You could see a blush creeping on his face. "Who is it Light?"Ally questioned.

"(Y/n)."

'What?!?!...Me???'You froze.

All the girls along with Ally gave you glares but you were least bothered. You couldn't accept the fact that all of this was happening for real.

Light placed one end of the pocky in his mouth and the other end in your's. He slowly started biting and you had to do the same. Little by little the distance in between your faces reduced.

At this point his face was just a few inches away from yours and you could feel his breath on your face. You froze at that point but didn't pull away. You were confident that Light would pull away but who knew you were wrong, Light kept biting and he didn't pull away.

After a few more bites,Light closed the distance between your lips and they met. You felt your cheeks burn and your eyes fluttered shut.

Your lips moved in sync with his and you had your insides melting. After a few seconds you realized where you were and pulled away blushing. You could hear many Awwwws and some girls were even glaring daggers at you.

Light intertwined his fingers with yours and you both went back to your seat.

"You know (y/n), I've always loved your smile. And those glasses...behind which you hide your beautiful eyes."He smiled.

He bent forward to remove my glasses and you were stunned by the sudden proximity."I've been liking you for a long time now. I won't hesitate anymore......to ask you out.

So,Ms.lovely (f/n) (l/n) , will you do me the honours of being my girlfriend?"he grinned. You couldn't help but mentally squeal but you kelp your self calm on the exterior because you don't want him to think your that weird, or so crazy over him.

You felt as though he read your mind when he said,"I do love crazy things ...and girls if I might add." He moved closer and kissed your cheeks which made them heat up. As if you couldn't hold in anymore, you replied flashing him a smile.

"Yes! I'd love to"

Me: Phew...Done...how was it?

Light: I wish I find (y/n) in real life.

Me: Light Imagay...You sure have L *grins*

Light: W-what?

L: Huh? *looks up from his cake*

Light: W-what *blush*

L: Light is Kira...The dumb head.

Light: L...You Idiot...and I thought...

L: What did you think?

Light: N-nothing.

L: Chances of you being Kira is now 38%

Light: All thanks to you *glares at me*

Me: Oh...it was no biggy...always for you Imagay.

Light: *Gritting his teeth*

Matt: Oh yeah...totally forgot...your jealous of my DS aren't you.

Me: why should I be?

Matt: Cause you like me...Just another fangirl *wears his goggles* B-)

Me: No I don't.

Matt: Yes you do.

Me: Kira...save me.

Mello: Hey...my chocolate is missing.

Matt: Whoops better run...bye my fan girls ^_~
