Destination I: San Diego
Author's note: This isn't written in the same format as the other chapters, like an Instagram post. Instead, it's written in book format (so like a regular fan fiction). After I write one for each different set of people on vacation, I'll go back to the regular Instagram format.
Also shoutout to my mom for recommending San Diego for Regina, Robin, and Roland's destination and shoutout to travelmath.com for giving me the flight time without thinking that I wanted to buy plane tickets.

Regina had just finished packing when the doorbell rang. She opened the door to reveal Robin and Roland with their suitcases, as she had suspected.
"Are you packed, Milady?" Robin asked, his normal smirk showing on his face.
"Yes, I am. So you don't have to pack for me. On the downside, I have no food ready."
"That's fine. We can eat at Granny's, because we don't want leftovers rotting while we're gone."
Regina nodded. "Good point. You and Roland can put your stuff in the living room with mine, and then we can go."
Regina stepped out of the way, and Robin and Roland entered the house, Robin carrying both suitcases. Regina put her coat on and the three headed to Granny's.

The bell over the door to Granny's dinged, signaling Regina, Robin, and Roland's entrance. Killian and Emma were sitting in the booth furthest from the door talking about something Regina didn't care to ask about. Emma moved a few papers out of the way when Ruby approached with their food.
As Regina, Robin, and Roland were sitting down, Doctor Whale entered Granny's, the bell alerting everyone of his presence. Mary Margaret had mentioned once that she thought Ruby might be dating Doctor Whale, and she was right because he greeted Ruby with a kiss.
After Regina, Robin, and Roland had finished eating, Regina drove them back to her house. Roland fell asleep on the ride back, which would probably result in him being very awake on the plan ride the next day.
Regina carried Roland inside so as to not wake him up. She placed him in Henry's bed before joining Robin in the living room.
"What inspired these people to make something like an airplane?" Robin asked.
Regina shrugged. "I don't know. Their constant need for new inventions that are occasionally possibly deadly. And the fact that they don't have magic."
"So what, exactly, is the plan for tomorrow?"
"We need to be across the town line by 7:30 tomorrow morning, which was a really bad decision now that I think about it. We'll drive to Boston, park my car in the parking garage, then be at the airport by 12:30. We should arrive in San Diego around 6:30, then check into our hotel by 7:00."
"You seem to have everything planned out," Robin commented.
"Yeah, but we'll have to get up at, like, 6:30 tomorrow."
Robin didn't seem to think it was a problem. "Roland and I get up early often."
"You live in the forest," Regina shot back.
"Can't argue with that."
"Well, I'm going to sleep so I can wake up," Regina said. "You can watch The Walking Dead or something."
"The Walking Dead?" Robin question.
"It's a TV show," Regina explained. "You can see if there's anything good on, but I'm going to bed."
"Alright." Robin pulled Regina in for a kiss, "Goodnight, Milady."
"Goodnight."
Regina had probably bed in bed for about five minutes when she heard Robin's footsteps. They stopped when Robin stopped in the doorway.
"Come to join me?" Regina asked.
"There's nothing good on TV," Robin replied. "Then again, I don't know much about whatever might be on TV."
"That's fine. But when I say I want to sleep, I mean sleep sleep."
"Sounds fair to me." Robin's feet carried him over to Regina's bed and he laid down next to her. "So, do you want to sleep sleep right now or...?"
Regina took her pillow out from underneath her head and put it over Robin's face. A few seconds later, she muttered, "I need that back."
In response, Robin put the pillow on Regina's face.
Regina grumbled something about thieves as she put the pillow back in it's place. She snuggled closer to Robin and was asleep in a few minutes. Robin watched her, awed by her beauty even as she slept makeup-less and exposed until he eventually fell asleep too.

When Robin woke up, the bathroom light was on and the door was shut. He heard a noise that sounded suspiciously like Regina muttering curse words. He opened the door slowly to reveal Regina running a brush through her wet hair, a bathrobe wrapped around her.
"Need some help?" Robin asked.
"You'll never get through this mess. You're to afraid to hurt me." Regina yanked the brush through a knot in her hair and winced slightly. Robin grabbed onto Regina's wrist, holding it gently, but firmly. He removed the brush from her hand and began to run it through her hair. Regina sighed, but didn't make any move to stop him.
As Robin was finishing, Roland opened the door to Regina's bedroom. He padded quietly over to the bathroom and stood in the doorway, watching Robin run the hairbrush through Regina's black locks.
"Do you need something?" Regina asked once it was obvious that Robin was too involved in brushing out Regina's hair to ask that question.
Roland shook his head. "No. When are we leaving?"
Regina glanced at the clock. "In about a half hour."
Robin set the hairbrush down. "Wasn't that easier?" He asked.
Regina nodded reluctantly. "Now shoo so I can get dressed."
"Okay. I'll get Roland dressed then start packing the car."
"Don't forget to get dressed yourself," Regina called as Robin lead Roland out.

After stopping for breakfast at a McDonald's somewhere across the town line, it was a straight drive to Boston. Regina, Robin, and Roland arrived at the airport right on time. Once on the plane, they found their seats. Regina sat next to the window and Robin sat next to the aisle, so Roland was in the middle.
The plane touched down in San Diego nearly six hours later. The three got their luggage and Regina hailed a taxi that drove them to the hotel they would be staying at. They found their hotel room and Roland began to explore, climbing on top of the beds and couch.
"Papa?" He asked after he was done inspecting the hotel room.
"Hm?"
"I like this better than last time. Regina's with us now." Then he wandered off as if nothing had happened.
Robin looked at Regina, who smiled sadly. He wrapped an arm around her and rubbed her back soothingly. The couple couldn't help but smile as they watched Roland investigate the hotel room again, to see if he had missed anything the first time around.
