Sakura saw the sun glow, the day has finally started.

Sasuke left her alone.

"Geez, that Sasuke is a hard one to get to talk, Naruto is such a talkative guy and he is just the opposite of him, I wonder how they handle each other?", Sakura thought and sighed.

"Mmmmhhh! So the intelligent, smart and beautiful Sakura, will train with her teammates, gotta find them!"Sakura stretched her a and smiled.

She went to the training grounds, but none of them was there, not even Sasuke.

"Ehh? No one's here yet?", she said with a confused look, "maybe I should wait a little bit."

Sakura sat under the tree and waited for her teammates to arrive.

"What is wrong with those late fools?", Sakura said losing her temper.

"Hmmf! Enough now I'm gonna go too and if I find any of them, I swear I'll rip them.", Sakura walked angrily and took big steps.

She went to the market today the view was different, everyone was either running or carrying items. They all seemed in a hurry. The place was rather more lively than everyday.

Everyone was decorating there shops and people were taking, things to the leaf shrine area.

Sakura's POV:

what is wrong with everyone today, a guy came running and we bumped into each other.

"Sorry miss", that guy stood and ran again.

I looked around for Naruto, sensei or even Ino will be good.

I walked ahead and saw a familiar face, I have met, him, but his name was....?

Oh yeah it was Shikamaru.. Nara.
He's also from a noble clan, the Nara...known for their knowledge, Ino said so , and she also told me that this guy is too lazy.

Maybe I should ask him.

"Aa, u-um? Nara-san?",I said.

He turned to me with the laziest look ever, maybe I disturbed, him.

"Aa! Its you Sakura, right?",he said.

I nodded a yes in reply.

"Is there anything you want?", he asked me.

"Yeah well.. Nara-san-"

"Call me Shikamaru, don't need to be courteous.", he cut me off.

"Yea Shikamaru. Well I wanted to ask you, have you seen Naruto or anyone from team 7?",I asked him.

"Yeah he is busy with his work, Kakashi sensei is also busy with all the preparations and Sasuke, he may be with the guard squad.", Shikamaru explained.

"Eh?",I blinked in confusion," you say Naruto is busy, and what...?"

"Aah! You are new here, you might not know about the annual leaf festival."

What is he talking about?

He started explaining,"well the leaf festival, happens every year here and many people visit Konoha, we it'll start in a few days, so we are preparing for it.

Believe me, this the most troublesome job ever.", he ended with a sigh.

"Oh so that's it".I sighed.

"And there'd be no training for this week.", Shikamaru said.

"Yeah the fools should have told me,", I sighed.

Even Sasuke? We met in the morning he should have at least told me.

Arghh!

Normal POV:

Sakura sighed and turned to Shikamaru."Thank you Shikamaru, maybe I'll go and see Ino. Bye.."

"Yeah. Bye.", Shikamaru said and continued walking.

Sakura walked through the streets till she came by Ino's shop, and saw Ino selling flowers, there were a lot of people.

"Hey Ino ", Sakura said, making way through the crowd.

"Uh Sakura? Hey",she waved at her."what are you doing here?".

"Yeah well, there's no training today, so I thought I might hang out with you.", Sakura smiled.

"Oh Sakura! I'm really sorry but today I won't be, no until the festival, and I'm very busy.", Ino said making a sad face.

"What! How much can your work be that you can't take time for your friend?", Sakura pouted.

"Sakura its a lot, you know today I have to sell all the flowers, her you can see, and the other days, I'll have to work in the shrine, and its on me to decorate the shrine area and the pathway too.",Ino explained.

"Ah I see.", Sakura sighed,"and are you going to decorate all on your own?"

"No t-there's S-Sai helping me", she said looking away.

Sakura saw her blushed.

"Eh... Sai huh!, so with your lover",Sakura smiled.

"No that's not Sak...", before Ino could say more, Sakura ran.

"That girl", Ino sighed.

Sakura walked ahead, she saw Chouji at the food stall, she waved him a greeting and he waved her back too.

She proceed, when she met Naruto.

"Saaaakuraaaa!",he came running to her, but as he was going to hug her she quickly made a fist and punched hard in Naruto's abs.

"Ahh!",Naruto fell.

"You idiot, why didn't you told me that there was no training?.. I waited for you people.",,Sakura said cracking her knuckles.

"You did? Sorry Sakura, I was busy.", Naruto stood up.

"Oh yeah, busy my ass", Sakura said angrily.

"Really Sakura I swear.", Naruto said.

"Fine."

"So what are you doing for the, uh.. Leaf festival?"

"Well me? I'm .... Helping people..", Naruto smiled.

"So you're free?",Sakura's eyes glowed.

"Well I guess not?."

"Yay Naruto let's go.", Sakura held his hand.

"Wait..Sa.."

Sakura dragged him towards the shrine but he held back and refused.

"Sakura , I'm so sorry, I too want to go out with you but I can't", Naruto said.

"What do you have to do Naruto?",Sakura asked looking annoyed.

"Well I promised to help at the Ichiraku's ramen shop, and I have to go with big sister Ayame to buy stuffs. Sorry Sakura I gotta go.",Naruto said this and ran away waving her, leaving a disappointed Sakura.

"There goes another friend.", Sakura sighed. "Eh?where should I go now?"

"Hey brother shall we go to see the shrine?"a little girl asked.

"Yeah of course Fumi.", the boy who seemed to be her brother answered.

Sakura thought for a while,"Its still noon maybe I'll go up there?",she said and followed the siblings.

Sakura saw the whole pathway was being arranged.

"Amazing, its beautiful.",Sakura quoted.

She walked up the stairs of the shrine. And saw people sitting there including Neji and other hyugas and Kakashi.

"Eh? Sensei?",Sakura called him.

"Sakura?", Kakashi looked at her.

"Is there a problem sensei?", Sakura asked.

"Well....thee is.", Kakashi started explaining her,"well every year we hold this festival and people come at the shrine to see the Kagura dance, the Hyuga princess has always done this....but..",Kakashi paused.

"But what?",Sakura asked.

"Lady Hinata's eyes have been paining a lot lately, she can't see anything even her byakugan doesn't gets activated. She keeps bandages on her eyes, so now there is no one to do the dance, Lady Hanabi is in a different nation and she won't be able to make it here in such a short time.",Neji explained.

"That's very bad....but ..... I can do it",Sakura said and everyone became shocked.

"You .....know how to?",Kakashi asked.

"No but I'll be fine, I learn things pretty early and I know how to dance.",Sakura said with a little hope in her eyes.

"But-"

"Yeah it will be fine. Let the girl do it.", Kakashi was cut off by the hyuga head, Hiashi.",you can do the Kagura dance."

"But sir....",Neji hesitated.

"Its fine, just let her meet Hinata."Hiashi said.

Neji didn't want to argue more so he nodded and asked Sakura to follow him to the Byakugan princess.

Neji and the others went leaving only Hiashi and Kakashi.

"So you felt it too.",Kakashi said calmly.

"Hmm".,Hiashi smirked.
