Epilogue
Today was the day. It was today. I'm scared, nervous. I think I'm going to pass out. I switched the engagement ring from one hand to another. I finally gave up and threw it across the room. A hand caught it. I didn't look up and only did when I heard a familiar chuckle.
"You're not supposed to be here." He smiled and crossed the room in a few bounds. Placing the ring he had given me on the bed beside me.
"You going to make me leave?" I shook my head and he sat beside me. He started playing with my hair, a habit of his.
"What's wrong? You seemed excited yesterday." I couldn't look at him.
"I'm excited Apollo, really. But I'm also really, really nervous. We're, we're-" He helped me finish the sentence.
"Getting married?" I nodded.
"Yeah that." He rubbed my back.
"It's going to be okay. Why wouldn't it be." It was not a question. When I didn't reply he kissed my cheek and whispered,
"It will because I love you and you love me." I blushed and leaned into him as he put his arm around me.
"I know. I love you." He smiled happily.
"I knew I could get you to say that." I blushed again. I then nudged him in the arm with my elbow. He was too full of himself.
"Stop it. It's annoying." He kissed my cheek again and pulled me up.
"Come on. You have to get ready. I need a beautiful wife today." I smiled.
"And what if I don't?" He looked me straight in the eye.
"You don't want to know what will happen if you do." I looked away and began to fix the clothes.
"Go then, I'll get ready."

I was standing outside the throne room (now the temple). I fixed the floor length white dress and my flowers. The music began to play.
The ceremony was about to begin.
I walked through the doors, my nervousness gone. Everyone faded away, I only saw Apollo. He smiled when he saw me and I had to smile back. Gods I loved him so much. I forced myself to look beside him. Artemis was on his right, Zeus on his left. I didn't look at anyone else, I knew I would lose the courage I had. I just kept eye contact with Apollo. Stay calm.
I reached the front of the temple. I took another deep breath and forced a weak smile at Apollo. He squeezed my hand before the priest said the words that would possibly be heard at weddings for years to come.
"Dearly beloved, we are gathered here today..."
I was getting married. Could it be possible that it all came down to the words 'I do'? This was perfect, completely perfect.

Twenty Years Later
I sat cross legged, chewing on a finger nail (even though it had never became a habit) while Apollo sat beside me, pating my knee. We were both nervous. What would the doctor say? Was I okay or was it good news?
Athena and Hera returned with the doctor. They were trying not to smiled so I relaxed some. I listened carefully to the doctor as he cleared his throat.
"I have good news." I sat up straight.
"And?" He smiled. I felt Apollo relax.
"You aren't sick. You are-" But Hera cut him off with her excitement.
"You're pregnant!"
"What!"
