I'm about to go on a rant about how I dislike my art style so just skip to the last paragraph if you don't care about my frustration but would still like to offer an opinion.

Okay, so I was trying to draw some concept art of the characters for my comic that I talked about earlier and...let's just say, my dissatisfaction with my style has become 5 million times more apparent. As I was drawing the faces for my Inktober Day 4 and 5 girls, I noticed that it was really weird for me to draw them like I usually did. And then I'm trying to draw this girl right now and I am utterly failing. How I draw heads, mouths, noses, eyes, ears...I hate all of it now. It sucks. It's like,,, trying hard to not be anime but is anime at the same time. It's cartoony but trying to be realistic at the same time without succeeding in being semi-realism??

Now I have to find a new style and it's really scary for me?? Like, I know that I am improving, which means that I am bound to get a new style, but I have no idea what direction to go in at all because at least before I had a couple things that I wanted to keep. Now, I don't like any of it. My proportions are getting worse and worse and it's scary. Like, did you SEE my Day 7 of Inktober? Those proportions, the foreshortening, it was t e r r i b l e.

So, I'm asking for help (what's new, Scooby-Doo). Is there something about my style that you don't like or do you think I could improve on in order to help me find a new style? Please be honest, just saying "I like everything about your style" is sweet and all but I don't like my style anymore and I would appreciate if you could help me figure out how to change it. Sorry for always asking questions to you all the time. I just don't know what to do.
