Jan. 16:

A group of the Presidents' old friends arrive and begin to make a village near the north end of the island, which they call Flimmiton

The Presidents do a report on Oddland News which tells people about where all the random creatures are coming from: odd magic

The Presidents visit the Things in Thingville, where a blanket named Clope, a clock named Boofin, and a wall named Keetin introduce them to all the new Things, including Clicliclicli the Slinky, Piklayon the Crayon, Plandana the Bandana, and Blenny the Pen; they then go to Flimmiton

Piklayon, Plandana, and Blenny decide to start their mission of un-odding the Things with Clope, since he is scared of everything

Later that day, Boofin decides that she wants to go to the candy store and Clope wants to go to the laundromat, the nearest of both of which is located in Oddland City; they come up with a plan of how they can work together drive there, Clicliclicli supplies them with a car that he had found; Piklayon and his group hear about this plan and get a head start to Oddland City

After figuring out how the car works, Clope works the pedals while Boofin steers and Keetin tells them what to do from the nearest wall; they eventually make it to the place where the candy store and laundromat are, but they crash the car in the process

While Clope and Boofin do what they want to do, Keetin explores; he ends up finding a bundle of explosives, which blows up the laundromat, Clope flies out of it and appears to be dead

The Presidents arrive in time to see the explosion, they revive Clope with odd magic (which they can do because the explosion was an act of un-odd); he suddenly becomes the brave "Super Clope" and flies to apprehend the culprits, who happen to be Piklayon, Plandana, and Blenny; they are taken to Impeach Beach

After realizing that the three explosionaters work for the Un-Odd Committee, the Presidents go to Elafint Ylind, made undetectable by odd magic, and secretly begin construction on a secret base; they get two Flimmitz (residents of Flimmiton) to take over while they are gone

That night, Clope's cousin, Plapp the Towel, comes to his house and purposely scares him so bad that he hides in his refrigerator and accidentally wakes up Keetin and Boofin, who come to see what the problem is

They wonder if this was an act of un-odd, so they call one of the substitute Presidents who tiredly tells Plapp to stay in Impeach Beach for one day

Jan. 17:

Plapp is brought to Impeach Beach, where everything is plinkeeunkk; he escapes his room by scooching through the crack under the door

While exploring, Plapp enters a room that is supposed to be off limits no matter what, he finds a Thing who identifies himself as Waymin the Shadow, who explains why he cannot leave the room (and Plapp misses a hint that he is un-odd)

Waymin tells Plapp how to escape in return for a promise to free Piklayon, Plandana, and Blenny

A guard eventually realizes that Plapp is gone, the Presidents are contacted, but in the panic of having a prisoner escape they don't notice that three others had escaped as well

That afternoon, Keetin, Clope, and Boofin watch Nooz (a news program based in the talking animals' main town, Boogy-Oogy), and hear that Plapp has escaped Impeach Beach

As they are about to go look for Plapp, Goofin's house explodes, Clope thinks it was Plapp

After Clope finds Plapp nearby, Plapp tells him that it was actually Piklayon and his group that exploded Goofin's house; they then organize a search party to go look for them

Piklayon decides to go against what their mission is and use the rest of the explosives that they had been supplied with to blow up the Plinkeeunkk House

A rock named Bibbert comes back from a walk to Up There Mountain and says that he saw something that may have been the three that they are looking for, they go to investigate

When the search party leaves, Moofin is forgotten and left behind; at this his anger turns to rage, then he finds a letter in his house signed by someone named Evil Ned; it basically says for him to come to Elafint Ylind for a job that will allow him to take his anger out, he goes

The search party finds tracks that they figure were from a crayon, a bandana, a pen, and a large bag of explosives; Clope becomes Super Clope and flies to where the trail leads, which is Oddland City

Clope is not able to arrive before the explosives are lit, he knows that he needs water to put it out, so he picks up the whole bag by the string and starts flying it towards the ocean (since he is directionally challenged, he flies back in the direction of Up There Mountain instead of to the Riverwalf River); Blenny decides to abandon the others and jumps on the bag before Clope can get it off the ground, Clope does not see him

Although Clope desperately wants to drop the bundle, he pushes on; Blenny starts drilling a hole in the rope with his point, the spark burns through the rest and causes the bundle and Blenny to drop; part of Up There Mountain blows up and forms a cliff

Clope rejoins with the other Things; the Presidents show up saying that they saw the whole thing

They all go back to the city where they find that Keetin had come and stopped Piklayon and Plandana from escaping; the Presidents hear about how Plapp and the others escaped, they decide to fix those things as soon as they can

Blenny joins them (even though they thought he was dead) and explains that he switched sides because Clope could actually understand him, and that he didn't die because he jumped off the bundle before it blew up

Blenny decides to live in Thingville; Piklayon and Plandana are brought back to Impeach Beach

Before the cracks underneath the cell doors are sealed, Piklayon and Plandana are able to sneak into Waymin's room, where he tells them about a new ally who he describes as being "evil"
