(Y/n) POV

"What's wrong with her?" I asked my sister while we were both looking at Maru, who was laying sideways on the floor 

"Her boyfriend dumped her, she isn't taking it well" (S/n) said and I nodded and walked over her. I picked up the blanket and laid it on the floor, I pushed Maru over on it and rolled her up 

"Come here sad burrito" I said and plopped her on the couch 

"By the way, where is your friend?" my sister asked while I flipped on the TV 

"Don't know, probably sacrificing a goat somewhere" I said while sad burrito was sniffling a little bit 

"Why is sad burrito sad?" I asked Maru 

"My boyfriend left me for some slut" she said while poking her head out of the blanket "and the worst part of it is" and she had anime tears coming down her face "Prom is in a few days, we were gonna go together" and I paused for a second 

"Hey, would it make you feel better if.......I walk you in .......or whatever" and she jumped out of the blanket and pinned me to the ground 

"Are you saying you'll go with me?!" and I looked at my sister who was nodding 

"Uhhhhhh, yes" and she jumped up with stars in her eyes 

"Thank you, thank you, thank you" and she paused and gasped "I have to go get fitted!" and she ran off leaving a trail of fire to the elevator 

"What did I just sign up for?" I asked my sister 

"Your taking her to prom, it's like a dance that is like a big deal for people" and I put my hand up to my chin 

"So normal humans think it's important?" 

"Yeah" 

"Interesting"

3rd POV

Time skip

Team RWBY came into (Y/n)'s room 

"(Y/n)? Hello?" Ruby said looking around the room 

"Looks like the demon spawn is out" Blake said and they all noticed something on the table 

"Is this his laptop?" Wiess said holding up the red and white tablet 

"Looks like it" Yang said taking it and turning it on 

"I don't think we should be messing with it" Ruby said but was quickly shushed by Weiss 

"Were also here to keep an eye on him, it would probably be easier to know what it is he's doing" and she looked through the different things on it. Only one caught her eye, it was a folder titled 'Daily activities' 

"Let's see what this is" she said opening it. It was full of notes that (Y/n) has made about different things, reports that he's filed, demon stuff, nothing useful 

"Well, that was a waste of time" Blake said and Weiss scrolled one more time and a page popped up which had a symbol on it, it was a diamond with lines extending out from the top and bottom, behind it were two stripes, the entire symbol was white except for the top stripe being black and the bottom being red. 

"What is this?" Weiss said and tapped on it, inside were all files about something called 'Slaven' "What's slaven?" Ruby asked looking at it 

"Don't know, let's see if there's anything on it" Yang said opening the first page on it and it was schematics, formulas, and even detailed notes on how to make Slaven 

"Apparently it's a self sustaining, regenerating and multiplying technology that could form whatever it was programmed to make" Blake said and Yang took the tablet 

"Why would something like that be kept from everybody" and suddenly the tablet was yanked out of her hand and it flew across the room where (Y/n) and Armena were both standing there 

"You shouldn't have looked at that" (Y/n) said and snapped his fingers and four of his guards came down from the ceiling and all used their rifles to knock out team RWBY 

"What do you want us to do with them sir?" one asked 

"They know what it is, let's show them" and the men nodded and dragged the unconscious huntresses over to the elevator. When team RWBY came too they were in a bullhead sitting on the ground with their arms and legs tied together 

"What the hell?" Yang said and tried to break free 

"It's best if you just sit there" they heard a voice say and (Y/n) was standing behind them 

"What are you doing, where are you taking us?" Ruby asked him 

"You want to know what Slaven is, I'm going to show you" and the door opened to reveal and burned out bunker in the middle on nowhere. The bullhead landed and they got out 

"You'll want your weapons, not telling how it'll react to you being here" (Y/n) said and RWBY was taken out by two guards and untied, Armena also got out of the bullhead and walked up next to (Y/n). RWBY picked up their weapons and went up next to him while he opened the door. RWBY covered their noses as a gas leaked out from the bunker 

"You two stay here" (Y/n) said to his guards who nodded and hopped back into the bullhead 

"Come on" he said and he proceeded down closely followed by Armena. Team RWBY hesitantly followed behind them but they went down the dark hole with the door closing behind them. They proceeded until they got into a room, full of trashed computers and ruined walls, but that wasn't the worst part, everything was covered in a thick film of blue wires, some glowing while others weren't as bright 

"What is this stuff?" Weiss said stepping over some of the wires 

"This is Slaven" (Y/n) said looking out a window at the opposite end of the room showing the rest of the bunker with large spikes coming out of the walls and ground, with the same blue wires coming from the base 

"This is that stuff?" Blake said looking at the mess, some of it was even moving, seeming as if it was alive 

"Yes, it is human technology combines with stolen demonic energy" Armena said stabbing a moving bit with her spear 

"How did this happen?" 

"Isn't it obvious, the scientists lost control of it, it grew so fast it couldn't be stopped, it infected everything, to the computer to the lights, and even the life support. A total of 900 people worked here, only 4 managed to escape" and (Y/n) gestured to a skeleton laying against a wall with more Slaven coming out of it's skull 

"It just shows you human don't know when to not take what isn't yours" Armena said getting up and heading for the exit 

"Let's get back to base, this place is dead, besides, if it manages to escape, no telling how harmful it will become" (Y/n) said also heading for the exit followed swiftly by a terrified team RWBY. They quickly got out and got back on their ride a flew back to the city. Once they landed (Y/n) said 

"So, are you going to look through my stuff again?" and team RWBY shook their heads quickly 

"Great, now if you'll excuse me" he said turning his back to them 

"I have a dance to get ready for" (Y/n) said in his usual tone as opposed to his serious tone from before. He went back inside sporting his usual grin and RWBY quickly went inside after him.

Back at the bunker

The thick iron tomb that held the virus stayed silent, with the air thick with the scent of death and decay, it's doors remained unbreached and stood strong for years. Deep inside the very core of the facility, a dark evil stirs and comes back to life ready to reap it's terrible plot on life everywhere.
