3rd POV

Cinder was looking at (Y/n) who was laying on his bed and her eye was twitching because he's been sleeping for two day straight. She then buried her heel in his back which made him jump up and yelp 

"Ow, what was that for?!' (Y/n) said holding the spot 

"you've been sleeping for two days straight, I understand you just got out of prison but get off your lazy ass already" she said glaring at him while (Y/n) just pouted 

"You should really loosen up, no one likes someone with a stick that far up their ass" and Cinder lit her hand on fire 

"This makes me question why i got you out of that hole we found you in" and (Y/n) made a finger gun and pointed it at an adjacent warehouse and said 

"Bang" and the building exploded, the massive fireball went a few hundred feet in the air and sent the roof even higher. When it landed with a loud thud (Y/n) said 

"That's why" and Cinder quickly left his room after he glared at her sending a shiver up her spine. When she got out Emerald and Mercury came up to her and said 

"We found out what that symbol means like you asked" 

"Good, what is it?" and Emerald pulled out an old book and a flyer 

"Apparently it's a symbol for a demon named Etheria, the demon lord of destruction and apparently there's this cult that believes he is real and chooses a person every one hundred years to inherit his power, they also say that the person will destroy all evil on the world. They're also quite popular group having regular meetings every weekend and are almost big enough to be considered a full religion, they display their membership with little pins of the symbol, me and Mercury have seen it around Beacon as well" and Emerald handed Cinder the flyer which had the same symbol that's on (Y/n)'s back at the top. Cinder folded it up and said 

"Why would they worship a demon? I thought demons were supposed to be the manifestation of evil and hate" 

"These guys think that the demons created everything and the we are the product of demonic magics" 

"Anyways, good work you two, go back to Beacon" Cinder said and the two left down the hall with Cinder going to opposite direction. (Y/n) came out of his room in his clothes and went the opposite direction as them. He kept going until he felt someone tap his shoulder and he looked back and saw Neo behind him 

"Oh, hey, what's up short stuff?" and Neo puffed up her cheeks and glared lightly at him 

"Just kidding, so what's up?" 

'What are you doing?' Neo asked in in her thoughts 

"Well, I used to live in the city, I had a twin sister and I want to go see if I can find her, maybe I can even find my mother" he said and Neo looked slightly confused 

'Why didn't you say dad?' and (Y/n) scoffed 

"tch, never knew the bastard, mom said he bailed after he found out she was pregnant with me and my sister" and Neo looked down at the ground 

'Oh, sorry to hear that' 

"Don't be, it isn't your fualt, now if you would excuse me, I going to look for them" and (Y/n) started to walk again 

'Hey, mind if I come with, I got nothing to do' Neo asked him 

"Yeah, sure" and they walked out of the base together. They were walking around the city looking for (Y/n)'s sister and mother. 

'So, what do they look like?' Neo asked (Y/n) and he put his hand up to his chin 

"Well, my sister has (H/c), the same as me a few years ago, and she has blue eyes, my mother has the same hair color and eye color as my sister, my sister looks like a female me and if we can find her we can find mom, that's the plan anyways" (Y/n) said and Neo nodded.

three hours later

"Damn, I was hoping this wasn't going to take that long" (Y/n) said as he sat down at a table with Neo on the opposite sides 

'Your looking for two people in a city of hundreds of thousands, you odds were never very good' Neo thought while taking a sip from her drink. (Y/n) just hit his head on the table and let out a small groan. (Y/n) just stayed like that till someone came up to the table and said 

"Excuse me, but I'm looking for someone and I was wondering if you could tell me if you saw them recently?" and Neo hit (Y/n) on the head 

"What?". And they both stopped, the girl that walked up to them had (H/c) hair and she had blue eyes with a similar face as (Y/n), if they weren't opposite genders and different eye colors you could mistake them for twins. Time seemed to stop for them as they looked at each other.

"(Y/n)?" The girl said with the beginnings of tears in her eyes 

"(S/n)?" (Y/n) said also beginning to tear up. (Y/n)'s hair turned (h/c) and his eyes changed to their original color and they both hugged each other tightly and sobbing into each other's shoulders. Neo was taken back at the two as they hugged it out and she just looked at them with wide eyes. They separated and (S/n) said 

"It's been so long" she said wiping her eyes 

"Ten years, where's mom?" (Y/n) said wiping his face on his sleeve 

"She's at work right now, but we can go see her later" and she looked at Neo 

"Who's this, your girlfriend?" and (Y/n) and Neo blushed when she said that 

"No, she's just my coworker" 

"Okay, hey, can you still do the thing?" (S/n) asked and (Y/n) nodded and he held out his hands with one on top and the other on bottom. His hair and eyes went back to their color and a small orb of black and red energy began to form in between them. It kept growing until it was about the size of a grapefruit and he threw it up into the air and it exploded in a bright flurry of different colors, despite it glowing as black and red. 

Somewhere else

"So, let's begin our search in the lower part of the city" Ruby said while the rest of her team nodded 

"Team JNPR will be on the northern half of city and we'll call each other if we find him" and RWBY got their weapons ready just in case. They exited Beacon and went down the city streets looking to see if they could find anyone who fit the description that they were given. The quickly looked up and saw a colorful explosion 

"Jaune, we think we found him, come meet us at our location" Ruby said to her scroll and they went towards the source of the bang. when they got there they saw (Y/n) talking with someone and they started walking away and the pink and brown girl from the train was with them as well 

"what should we do?" Weiss asked and Yang activated her gauntlets 

"Let's take him now" and Blake grabbed her shoulder 

"No, we should wait and watch them, we could maybe find out what will bring him down easier" and they followed the three until they got to a apartment building.

Back to (Y/n)

'(Y/n), I'm going back to the hideout' Neo thought and (Y/n) turned back around 

"Why?" 

'I don't want to go with you two, that's it' 

"Aw, come on Neo, if you come with I'll ow you one" 

'Five' 

"Deal" and they went inside. They went up to (S/n)'s apartment which had a nice view of the academy 

"Are you guys hungry?" and (Y/n) and Neo both shook their heads no 

'Can you ask her where the shower is?' Neo thought and (Y/n) nodded 

"Hey, where's the shower?" 

"Oh, down the hall on the left" and Neo got up to go use it 

"I forgot you could read people's thoughts" (S/n) said and sat on her couch and turned on her TV. It was on the local news channel and it was talking about stuff going on in the city and we both heard a knock on the door 

"oh, I'll get it" and Anna opened it and outside was a fox faunas with long black hair, bright green eyes and wearing a purple kimono with the bottom only going a quarter of the way down her thighs. The ends of her sleeves were very open and easily the front was open enough to leave little to the imagination to her large bust, on her feet were high heeled boots that went up to her thighs. 

"Maru"

"(S/n), how are you doing?" and the faunas hugged (Y/n)'s sister. They stayed like that for a few seconds until they split up and (S/n) said "What's the occasion?" 

"What? Do I need a reason to come a visit my best friend?" Maru said and went inside. She then looked at (Y/n) who was sitting on the ground watching the TV 

"And who are you?" she asked looking at him and bending over and squishing her chest together making it appear bigger than it already was 

"That's (Y/n), he's my twin brother" (S/n) said sweat dropping at her friend 

"Why didn't you tell me you had a brother, especially one this cute" she said shoving (Y/n)'s head into her bust. His face turned bright red and he was attempting to get out of her grip but this girl had one made of iron. Neo walked out of the shower and gained a look of confusion from watching (Y/n) struggle but Maru was managing to hold him down. (S/n) noticed this and said 

"She's a friend" and Neo nodded. Neo then felt her scroll buzz and she picked it up and it had a message from Roman 

"Come on back and bring (Y/n), he's needed back at base" 

"okay, on our way" Neo sent back and she thought 

'Come on (Y/n), we got to go back now' and (Y/n) pried Maru off of him and he said 

"Okay, sorry (S/n), we have to go now" and (S/n) nodded 

"It's fine, I'll tell mom that your alive and well, where are you guys going?" 

"Just back to work" (Y/n) said and they started to walk out. When they left Maru poked her head out the door and said 

"Come back soon"

somewhere else

Team's RWBy and JNPR were all laying on the opposite building with binoculars so they could see inside the room. 

"Their just sitting around" Weiss said looking at her teammates 

"Hold on, someone just came in" Blake said and they saw Maru walk in 

"Maru, what's he doing there?" RWBY and JNPR know her from Beacon, Maru is a third year student at Beacon and is a very skilled fighter with her twin kukri knives she has hidden in her sleeves. 

"What is she doing?" Yang said as they watched Maru glomp (Y/n) and start hugging him 

"Guys, that pink and brown chick just came back" Ruby said and watched her take out her phone and soon after they left. RWBY wanted to keep following (Y/n) but JNPR wanted to report on what they found so far. So they split up and RWBy had to catch up with (Y/n) and they found a white fang flyer that said 

"Tired of being oppressed? Join the white fang and help your faunas brothers and sisters. and if you are a supporter of Etheria, rejoice, your god has been found" ( i know they probably wouldn't do a flyer but I made it so they did for plot reasons) 

"Well, looks like their having a rally tonight" Blake said examining the flyer 

"What's an Etheria?" Ruby asked 

"Its the demon lord of destruction, apparently there's this cult supporting it" Weiss said pointing to the symbol at the bottom of the paper 

"I've seen that symbol a few times, some people at Beacon are members of that cult" Yang said and Blake took a closer look at the symbol 

"Hey, didn't (Y/n) have this symbol on his back?" "He did" Weiss said and they put the paper away 

"We should report this" Yang said and they all nodded and went back to the academy.

with (Y/n)

"Ah, there' our star of the show" Roman said looking at (Y/n) 

"What?" 

"turns out kid your a god to some people, and they are coming tonight, so put up a good show" Roman said and Cinder walked up to them 

"(Y/n) make sure that you can convince everyone that your Etheria" and (Y/n) grew a confused look on his face 

"I'm not Etheria, I'm the reincarnation of his power" 

"Good enough" and Cinder walked away from them to go back to her office. (Y/n) went up on the stage and behind the curtain 

"So, what are some of these demon powers you got?" Roman said slightly curios about them 

"I can do this" and (Y/n) lit both his hands on fire with the flames being red and the tip are black 

"and this" and he shot a small ball of the fire and when it hit something it exploded on contact 

"I can do more but that's the most I can do with out destroying this building" (Y/n) said putting the flames out 

"Neat, now, just wait back here till I say for you to come out" Roman said and went out front. (Y/n) sat on a box and started twiddling his thumbs 

'Nervous?' Neo thought and (Y/n) nodded 

"Yeah, I mean the last time I had any connection with my followers was years ago, so it's kind of difficult" and Neo nodded 

"and I might as well introduce our main guest of the evening, everyone I would like you to meet Etheria" Roman said and (Y/n) got up 

"Show time"
