Here are a few ocs. This will be the basics, and not going into depth. Two of these will be adoptables I got from sarasa234. I'm adding them because I'm excited to show her (sorry for assuming genders xD) what I've done with them. Some bits may be edited in the full oc pages, seeing as these are work in progresses. If you wanna ask questions, feel free. Let's begin.

Selective Mutism- again, due to bad experiences. Rarely talks vocally, preferring sign language.
Abilities:
Volukinesis- insect manipulation (a bit like thiriokinesis- animal manipulation- but she focuses more on insects, seeing as she's inspired by them).
Mycokinesis- fungi manipulation.
Can speak with sign language

Extra: first name, Cicada, is Latin, and means 'tree cricket'.
Her surname, Ophiocordyceps, is a type of fungi, known for growing on insects. Search 'zombie ant fungi' if you want to learn more.

Extra: first name, Beryl, is a type of gemstone that varies in colour, but can be pink. Middle name, Carnelian, is a (mostly) red gemstone, but can be pink, orange, yellow, and peach. Surname, Danburite, is a most commonly a clear gemstone, but can be pink.
Her chest has a giant gemstone (a pink topaz) after an accident when practicing her crystallokinesis. It is partially penetrating her heart, do she has to leave it there so she doesn't bleed out. Luckily, she uses her crystallokinesis to keep it in a good position, as to not damage it further.
Her name is purposely meant to go 'B C D' because I accidently put a c after a b, and found it funny. Yes, I have a sad sense of humor :'(.

Depression- caused by physical and emotional pain from being disabled (can't use magic properly. I'll explain in a sec) and incapable of proper magic. Created a feeling of inadequacy, hopelessness, apathy, and loneliness.
Hemo-magic (made by me. Based on hemomancy)- a physical disability caused by certain genes mixing and the environment of the mother during pregnancy can have a great effect. These mages can only use magic when they have a source of blood, wether it be their own or another's. Different bloods have different effects. Examples (strength based in rarity of blood)- O+ (most common)= manipulation of the blood, able to make it slightly thicker or thinner, and use it to grab things, push things, ect. However, it's rather weak cause it's still a liquid. AB- (rarest)= can use elemental magic (fire, water, ice, nature, wind, electric, ect) from the puddle of blood, like carnivorous plants growing from it or the blood combusting. This happens from changing the form, temperature. I'll write it in better detail another time
Abilities:
Hemomancy- can use blood to do certain things depending on blood type.
Blood type: A-. This blood type can be hardened into a solid, and shaped in the liquid form. Also, it can be telekineticly manipulated, and used as wepons, tools, ect.

Extra: first name, Scarlet, is a shade of red. Surname, Lynea, is an altered- name- version of the flower called 'linnea'; which is a pink flower. The fact it hangs down could, also, be related to her depression and apathy.

ADHD- tends to cause complications with her magic. She had caused a few complications with causing people to hallucinate from not concentrating.
Abilities:
Photokinesis- light manipulation. Can be used to make clumps of light (working as torches, candles, ect), can distort perception of colour (affecting the rods and cones by changing the light going into people's eyes), and can cause mild hallucinations- which can become stronger depending upon skill level.
Blood type: B-

Extra: her first name, Ellen, is a Greek name, meaning 'sun ray' or 'shining light'. Her middle name, Summer, is based on the season, which is known for being sunny. Her surname, Marigold, is like Amber's, being a yellow and orange flower.
