"Shit.." Melody muttered and both the sisters' eyes widened in shock.

Melody soon realised that he was THE Alpha Jayden. The one she's heard so much years ago. He was deadly and dangerous to mess with.

"You're a Beta?" Bella asked slowly, processing the news.

"Yeah, I was planning on saying it sooner.." Micheal said sheepishly, scratch.

Amara noticed and had a feeling she was missing something. "What is going on?" she asked.

"Mom, Micheal is my Mate." Bella said ever so softly.

"What?" She asked looking between Bella and Micheal. Soon she beamed with joy. "Oh Bella," she hugged her daughter so tight and she had tears of joy. She extended her arm and pulled in Micheal too.

Melody couldnt help but find the entire moment beautiful. But she was also feeling extremely anxious within the presence of the Alpha and Beta of the pack she used to hate the most. Almost soon enough a sharp ding! sound interupted them, demanding their attention.

"I'll handle them and ask them to leave as soon as possible."

"Melody you can't ask people to just leave. That would be so rude."

"Not if you offer something in return," Melody remarked and went out the kitchen door and announced on top of her lungs.

"Ladies and Gentlemen! May I have your attention please? Due to personal reasons we must close the shop early-"

A lot of groans and boos were made throughout the cafe.

"- but to compensate, the item you ordered or currently enjoying would be packed along with another order of your choice, anything, for free and on the house!"

What? How? Really? A lot of whispers and shocks sounds from people.

"Come on, the new orders for the temporary deal is open for only 5 minutes. Come to the counter to order soon or be ready to leave empty handed at another half an hour." I announced and soon chaos and clamour was in pursuit.

"It'll be out of my own pocket, I told my Mom who had the smile of disbelief and shook her head.

"Why don't we go upstairs and talk?" I heard Mom suggesting and footsteps behind me.

Soon people started to crowd around the counter, and I took over as the group left upstairs to our home.

I finally packed the last of the orders and placed it on top of the counter and bid goodbye to the customer. They left and I started to clean around the cafe after turning the sign from 'Open' to 'Close'.

Melody slowly cleared up her counter and removed the apron and climbed up the stairs to their home. Cafe Corner was the cafe they had at the ground floor, their house was on the first. She climbed the stairs while earing faint laghters and giggles.

Something in her heart skipped a beat - not a in a sense of fear nor happiness. But a weird little reminder that she might not belong with them. Might not get along. Taunts from high school echoed in her brain and she shut them down as quickly as the thought came into her head.

Not Today, not when Bella got to meet her mate. Dont ruin tonight.

She saw all 4 of them spread across the living room sitting on the couches, snacks laid out on the tea table and everyone laughed at something Micheal said.

She slowly entered the room and smiled polietly as she sat down.

"Melody thank god you're here. What's taking so long?" Mom asked as she stood up with some empty plates and mugs piled up to be taken to the kitchen.

"Let me help," Melody said and quickly ot up and took the empty dishes and rushed to the kitchen and put them in sink to wash for later.

"Melody..." The tone was that of concern. "Are you nervous around these guys?" Mom asked blatantly.

"Of course I'm shit scared of them! I don't even do normally well around normal wolves and here we have 2 leaders of the pack casually munching on brownies." She whisper yelled to her.

Mom had an amusing smile at   

"I'm just fixing up some snacks," I said and looked up to see mom smiling. Not just normal smiling but scheming smiling.

This can't be good.

"I need to talk to you," she said softly.

"Sure," I said and gave him the plate and walked with my mom inside the kitchen. "What happened?" I asked as soon as we got in.

"I need a favour." Mom asked.

"What favour?" I asked quizzically.

"I need you to go with Jayden to his pack."
