~Next Day At Work~

Lily pushed a strand of hair behind her ear as she was bending down looking through some files. Alastor slowly peaked out of his office and couldn't help but to slowly sneak up behind Lily catching her by surprise as he grabbed her by the waist.

"Ah!"

She shouted in surprise causing Alastor to laugh. He leaned down to give her a peck on the cheek.

"You left early this morning"

He commented as he made his way to sit on Lily's chair.

"I need to get clean clothes"

She said as she watched him pat his lap motioning for her to sit. Lily smiled as she shook her head.

"Sorry sir, but I need to organize these files"

She said pointing to the stack of papers on her desk. Alastor looked over on her desk and nodded in understanding.

"Very well then sweetheart, I'll let you get your job done. Let's have lunch later"

He suggested. Lily nervously scratched the back of her head.

"Well, actually Derek is coming by to take me out for lunch"

She said nervously. Alastor's smile slowly fades.

"You're kidding me. After last night you're still going to see him"

He said

"He's still my husband"

She said quietly.

"So what am I?"

He asked sadly causing Lily to look down.

"I thought it was a one time thing"

She said slowly.

"But last night, you told me you love me. We confessed our love for each other"

He said taking a step towards her.

"It was the heat of the moment. What we did can't ever happen again"

She said taking a step back.

"So you used me?"

He concluded. Lily shook her head.

"I did what we both wanted. I can't get caught being seen with you, Derek is going to know something is up"

She said. Alastor took a step towards her until her back was against the wall.

"Then we'll keep this a secret. Please, I can't stop seeing you"

He said gently caressing her face.

"I...I don't know what to do"

She said hesitantly.

"Please... let's continue this"

He said softly as he moved closer to Lily and gave her a loving kiss. Lily immediately responded to the kiss as Alastor tilted her head up so he could deepen the kiss. He placed his hands around her waist pulling her closer to him.

"Knock, knock"

Said a voice. Lily quickly pulled away from Alastor and looked to see it was Derek.

"What's going on here?"

He asked.

"Um, Alastor and I were just talking and he wanted to tell me a secret"

She said lying smoothly.

"Right"

Derek said uncertainly as he looked to Alastor who was sadly looking at the ground.

"So, are you ready for lunch?"

He asked Lily. She simply nodded as she grabbed her purse and looked at Alastor briefly before walking out of the building. Derek smirked at Alastor before following Lily out.

**Few Hours Later**

Lily was almost done organizing the papers when the phone rang, she looked at the I.D and saw it was Alastor's office, she answered it.

"Yes sir"

She said.

"Come to my office"

He said as he hung up. Lily frowned but nonetheless got up and headed to her boss's office. She gave a quiet knock.

"Come in"

He said. Lily opened the door to reveal Alastor sitting on the edge of his desk.

"Mind telling me, why you push me away earlier?"

He stated sternly as he crossed his arms over his chest. Lily made her way to sit on the chair in front of him.

"I had too"

She said with her eyes cast down.

"We could have told him the truth together"

He said sincerely.

"Alastor please, you don't understand"

"Then my dear, help me to understand. Do you even love him?"

He asked as he leaned off his desk and sat on the chair next to Lily. He placed his hand over hers.

"No but it was an arranged marriage"

"Why?"

"Because my family needed the money for my mom, but she sadly passed away and now I'm stuck in this marriage"

She explained. Alastor sadly looked down at the ground.

'What if I was to kill him?'

He thought. Lily rubbed her thumb across his hand.

"Please, don't do anything too drastic"

She pleaded.

"Not to worry my dear, I would be a gentlemen about this"

He said with a smile as he lifted up his head to look at her. Lily slightly smiled back at him.

"Thank you, for understanding"

She said softly. Alastor nodded as he stood up and stretched out his hand to Lily. Lily took his hand as he pulled her up and on to his chest.

"In here, nobody can see what we do"

He said quietly before leaning down and captured Lily's lips into a deep kiss causing her to moan in want as he wrapped his arms tighter around her waist. Alastor pulled away from the kiss with a smile.

"You see, I knew you still wanted me"

He said with a grin. Lily smiled at him.

"How can I resist such a man"

"Can you stay for a few hours after work?"

He asked. Lily grimaced.

"Can I make a quick call?"

She asked. Alastor rolled his eyes before smiling at her.

"Of course you may, my dear. Just tell him, you're gonna stay with your boss for a few hours"

He said softly as he unwrapped his arms from around her waist.

"Don't take too long now. I want you all to myself"

He said with a grin. Lily giggled at him before giving him a peck on the lips before leaving the office to make the phone call. Alastor continued to smile until a wicked thought came to mind.

'Count your days, Derek. Soon Lily will be all mine'

He thought. Lily soon stuck her head back into the office.

"All clear, boss"

She said causing Alastor to chuckle.

"Excellent my dear. We will have a wonderful time"

He said proudly.
