Roman's POV 

Tuesday 

Should I be this paranoid? maybe I should or am I just worrying about nothing when Renee mentioned that name it sent a cold chill up my spine, "Roman?" I didn't respond to Jimmy, I was in deep thought his hand slamming on the desk bringing me out of my thoughts "what?"  "what's wrong with you Uce, you have been really quiet since you got here..is everything ok?"  "yeah I'm fine"  "well you might want to tell you face that, what's going on?"  he sat down on the chair opposite a slight look of concern on his face "you know what man its nothing I'm just been paranoid"  "how about you tell me and I will let you know if your being paranoid or not"

"The thing is Renee done these interviews yesterday at work and she is keen on hiring this one girl and when she mentioned her name I stiffened up and all sorts have been going through my mind since then, I don't know if I'm being paranoid or not, her name was - " Charlotte"  Jimmy finished that sentence for me, he knew the history between me and her "look uce it's understandable why you should be paranoid but on the other hand you could be worrying about nothing, there are a lot of women in this country called Charlotte doesn't mean to say its her, now we have a group waiting in there get up off your ass and lets go"

An hour later

Me and Jimmy were wiping down the workout equipment, maybe I am just worrying about nothing "Boss" I looked in the direction of the doorway "there is someone in your office said she is here to see you"  "yeah tell her I'll be there in a minute, thanks Mandy"  after I finished up I got to my office and saw her, I could feel my blood turning cold at the sight of her.. she turned to face me confirming the worst, yeah I don't think I'm being paranoid " what are you doing here?"  "well that isn't a nice way to greet me is it Roman?"  "I'll ask again why are you here?"  "well I found out where you worked and I thought I would-"  "no I mean why are you here now Charlotte?"  "I missed you Roman, I mean I thought you would be a little more happy to see me" 

"Why would I be happy to see you? I was happy when I left you, my life turned around when you were out of it, so why have you decided to come here and ruin it?  "I heard you got married so I wanted to come see what you wife looked like and by looking at the picture on your desk I've already met her, she's beautiful by the way, I mean I could be working very closely with her very soon" I clenched my fist resisting the urge to do something I might regret "how can you be so sure she's gonna pick you?"  "a little a sob story and I was right in the front of the line come on Roman you know me" "all to well, you hurt her or do anything to destroy my marriage I -"  "don't worry Roman I won't do anything, not right now anyway"  she strolled past me, I slammed the door behind her punching it, letting the pain travel through my hand.

At Home

It was getting late, I stood on the back porch downing a bottle of beer, Renee knew when there was something wrong, I would hardly speak that's how she knew something was bothering me, I must been very thought because I didn't here come outside, I only knew she was there when I felt her hands wrap around my lower back and her head leant against it "are you ok?"  "I'm fine Nae"  "I know when there is something wrong, you know you can tell me"  "yeah I know but honestly I'm fine babe I'm just tired"  "ok well I'm gonna go to bed"  "I'll be right behind you" everything was going great but now she is back in the picture.
