Later that night Starscream who had fallen into recharge while setting outside Knock Out's room woke up to see Ratchet leaving it.

"Is he awake yet?" Starscream asked concerned about the red medic and still wanting to apologize to him.

"Yes but he's not doing very well." Ratchet replied sadly.

"Well he did just lose his planet." Starscream said letting his wings drop feeling bad for Aston Martin. "Can I see him?"

"Yes talking to a friend might help him right now." Ratchet answered him before having to leave for something.

Starscream entered the room and found Knock Out laying on the berth looking up at the ceiling.

"Hey Knock Out is it ok if I come in for awhile?" Starscream asked not quite knowing how to start the conversation not even sure if the red medic still considered him a friend after their last encounter.

"Sure." Knock Out replied not even moving his gaze from the ceiling, Starscream wasn't use to Knock Out sounding that drained or looking that dead inside usually the Aston Martin was sassy, witty and full of life always cracking jokes and an outgoing free spirit who was always looking for a good time but now he looked like he was ready to fall apart any minute, And Starscream didn't like it.

"I'm so sorry about Velocitron." Starscream told him.

"It's not your fault." Knock Out answered him.

"I'm sorry about what I said to you the last time we saw each other I didn't mean it and I was terrified that it was coming true earlier when I heard what was going on." Starscream apologized.

"I had no business saying something like that to you no matter how angry I was at the time and you did the right thing by joining the Autobots your a better bot then I am Knock Out and for the record I wouldn't have thrown you out of the first airlock." He added.

"And I'm sorry for trying to throw you under the bus on the Nemesis and for telling you to shut up, And I know what it's like to be talked down to and dismissed and I'm so sorry for inflicting that on you." Starscream finished.

"It's ok Starscream I'm sorry I hit you with the immobilizer and looking back I understand your motive for trying to blame me for the terrorcon incident on the Nemesis you probably thought Megatron would go easier on the only medic and I saw what he did to you after that and the many beatings he gave you and I'm so sorry I didn't do anything to try to help you." Knock Out replied accepting the apology and giving one of his own.

"I've heard that sometimes people who are abused can start to parrot the behavior of their abuser and I thought I saw it starting to happen and didn't want to be sucked into the cycle." Knock Out explained.

"I'm so sorry about that I know I wanted his position and approval but thinking back Megatron is the last bot I want to be like." Starscream said letting his wings drop.

"I never brought it up but I once overheard some of the Vehicons talking and they said that when Breakdown was captured by M.E.C.H. you lead a rescue mission behind Megatron's back?" Knock Out asked.

"I only did it to get Breakdown to join my said when I was planning to overthrow Megatron and it was actually Bulkhead who freed him." Starscream explained.

"Then why didn't you call on him after you went rouge during the war?" Knock Out questioned. "I think you had another motive."

"I know what it's like to lose a best friend, Other then Ghost Rose every other every friend I've had has turned on me except for one who was killed when Vos was destroyed." Starscream told him.

"The seeker capital?" Knock Out asked.

"Yes it was my home before the war started and Shockwave manipulated Vos and Tarn to destroy each other to get both sides to join the Decepticons and follow Megatron, My friend his name was Genvo was shot and killed in the crossfire and Megatron found me and talked me into joining him as his second in command because I was Sentinel Prime's body guard at the time and also in charge of Trypticon Station guarding Dark Energon so I was valuable to the Decepticon cause and everything went down hill from there."

"Megatron took the Station and Dark Energon by force then forced me to choose which two of the scientists would be test subject to use the dark energon on and got me addicted to it." Starscream finished letting his wings drop.

"Sounds like he was terrible to you since day one." Knock Out cut in. "So what about Genvo what was he like?"

"He was the kind of bot what was always eager and optimistic he had just joined the Decepticons before he was killed, Me, him and our friend Jetfire hung out one last time and I even blew up an energon deposit to get a Titan to wave at us, and when Vos was being destroyed Genvo and I were evacuating and he was shot then died in my arm and his last words to me were that I screamed the stars into noticing us so I changed my name to Starscream to honor his last words." Starscream explained.

"Sounds like you guys were close." Knock Out said to him.

"We were inseparable I guess you could say he was my Breakdown, Though you actually remind me more of him personality wise I think you two would have gotten along." Starscream told him.

"Thanks Starscream." Knock Out told the seeker seeing that he was telling him all this to try to relate to and comfort him.

"Anytime." Starscream said back to him.

"And your wrong you do have one other friend if your willing to have me." Knock Out added.

And the two of them shook hands having fully made up.

Meanwhile Ulchtar had just brought Ratchet his multiverse travel device and since Optimus Prime was already there talking to Ratchet the seeker told the two of them his plans to try to get Unicron to follow him out of their part of the multiverse so he wouldn't destroy anymore of their universe still blaming himself for Velocitron.

"I can fix it for you." Ratchet promised.

"But we are attaching it to a ship and we are sending a team with you because Unicron must be stopped no matter the cost." Optimus Prime told Ulchtar.

"And besides we're not letting go through this mission alone Unicron is a big threat and you're gonna need all the help you can get." Added Bumblebee who had just entered in time to hear the exchange.

"It'll take a few days to get the ship ready which will give us time to put together our team and prepare for the mission." Ratchet explained.

"Ok thank you guys but I don't want to put anyone else in danger." Ulchtar told them feeling touched that they wanted to help him but concerned for their safety.

"When he destroyed Velocitron Unicron made it personal." Bumblebee assured him. "We won't let Unicron wipe out anymore worlds."

Then they quickly got to work making plans.

The next day Knock Out went to a memorial that had been set up for Velocitron and found several consels with screens that listed all the casualties from his planet and as he scanned through all the names with his optics Knock Out was spark broken to learn that the casualties out numbered the survivors.

Knock Out didn't even realize he had fallen to his knees when he suddenly felt a hand on his shoulder.

And turned to be greeted by Ghost Rose who helped him up.

"Hey I just wanted to say I'm sorry for your loss and I feel like we got off on the wrong foot sorry about trapping you in the wall." She told him.

"Thanks and it's ok that's actually not the first time that's happened to me." Knock Out answered her.

"It's not?" She asked as she tilted her helm in disbelief.

"It involved a phase shifter, me and Smokescreen were fighting over it, long story." He replied.

"I didn't even properly introduce myself before my name is Ghost Rose." She introduced herself to him.

"Starscream told me and my name is Knock Out." He let her know.

"Yeah Starscream told me that too." Ghost Rose explained.

Just then they heard something and turned to see a bot in a cloak (the same one who had been watching Knock Out on his way to the prison when he had taken Ratchet his medkit.) standing near one of the consoles and the bot took off running as soon as they saw them looking at them, they couldn't tell if it was a mech or a femme because the cloak completely hid the bot wearing it.

"Who is that?" Ghost Rose asked in shock.

"I don't know let's try to catch them and find out because they looked suspicious." Knock Out answered her as they both ran after the bot who ran into Iacon then kept taking one sharp turn after another.

Until they ran into the Autobots base and thought they saw them run into a closet but when Knock Out went to cut them off they pushed past him and darted down the hallway and out the door escaping and making Ghost Rose trip not having the chance to use her outliner powers and she ended up falling forward into the arms of Knock Out who was just getting back up.

"Well what do we have here." Asked Starscream who had just come down the hallway and found Knock Out and Ghost Rose who looked like they were hugging in the closet and the seeker now had a big smirk on his face.

"It's not what it looks like!" Knock Out and Ghost Rose both yelled at one. "Don't say what I'm saying!"

"You two are so cute together." Starscream smile in a no matter what you guys tell me I'm shipping it now and I'm never letting either of you live it down kind of way.

Then they quickly changed the subject and told Starscream about the cloaked bot they saw and then they all went and told the others and Ulchtar didn't even know anything about it.

So they all went back to the spot where the cloaked bot had been.

And they found a picture of paper with a blue flower on top of it.

"A spark flower?" Asked Arcee looking at it.

"No it's an Earth flower called a rose." Said Bumblebee.

"Yeah I have red ones painted on me and it's part of my name." Ghost Rose laughed.

"I know what a rose is I've just never seen a blue one before." Arcee replied.

"It's not just any rose." Knock Out said having scanned it. "It's a Knock Out rose Breakdown told me about them when we were on Earth their supposed to be more hardy and resilient then normal roses he told me about them because they share my name and I got curious and researched them and read somewhere that blue roses represent the impossible."

Then everyone turned their attention to the paper and what was written on it did make any since to them.

"Spark, Matrix, under base, dead space, Time will rust and stars will scream."

"What the heck does this mean?" Ask Smokescreen.

"I have no idea." Said Ratchet.

"Looks like the rambling of a mad mech." Added Arcee.

"Or someone who had too much high grade." Said Ghost Rose.

"Well a bot can be two things maybe they had too much high grade and are a bit cray cray." Knock Out suggested.

"The bot was left this was watching Knock Out and Ghost Rose and left a Knockout Rose with it so this could be some kind of threat aim at one or both of them." Prowl pointed out and put the note in his subspace to study later in case it turned out to be a code of some kind.

"This keeps getting weirder and weirder." Starscream groaned.

Then the others explained the plan that Optimus Prime, Ratchet, Bumblebee and Ulchtar had come up with to make a ship to travel around the multiverse to lead Unicron away from their universe.

"I'm coming too." Said Knock Out. "I if I can help stop Unicron from doing what he did to Velocitron to any other planet I'm in, I don't want anyone else to go through losing their planet like I did."

"I'm also coming I wanna help out anyway I can to make up for all my past deeds." Starscream also volunteered for the mission having made friends with his counterpart and wanting to help him stop Unicron and he also wasn't lying about wanting to make up for his past actions.

"And wherever my Big brother goes I'm going too." Ghost Rose added.

Then Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, Ratchet, Arcee, Prowl and Smokescreen also decided to go on the mission, While Ultra Magnus, Bulkhead and Wheeljack would remain on Cybertron along with Moonracer who had decided to join the Wreckers, While Bumblebee's team and Windblade would protect Earth.

The team that would be travelling the multiverse would have to wait for the ship to be ready and were all worried that Unicron might make another move before it was finished.

Just then Ulchtar suddenly started clutching his helm in pain, and everyone could tell it was something to do with Unicron.

"What's wrong what is Unicron up too?" Asked Starscream afraid of the answer.

"He wants to find your universe's version of himself to murge with and if he doesn't that he won't just be able to wipe out planets but entire universes and he won't stop until he wipes out the entire multiverse." Ulchtar almost whimpered.

"Then we'll take the container with our Unicron's spark in it with us to make sure your Unicron can't get it." Bumblebee suggested.

"If anything that will make him more likely to follow us through the multiverse and away from our universe so we can have more time to figure out a way to stop him." Said Ratchet.

And everyone agreed it was a good idea.

"This is one other bot who has a connection with Unicron our Unicron." Optimus Prime point out. "And we may need his help with our mission to stop Unicron."

"Oh I hope it's not who I think it is." Whined Starscream.

"We must find Megatron." Optimus Prime finished.

"Don't worry Starscream we may need him for the mission but we won't let him touch you." Knock Out promised.

"Yeah we won't let him hurt you or Ulchtar." Ghost Rose added.

Then Starscream gave a soft smile he was still terrified of seeing his former master again but felt better about it now that he had some support.

So they all got to work trying to locate the former Decepticon leader.
