Chapter 73
I looked worried. "Yeah, that's what it said." Kevin showed me the paper, and he was right. "that's impossible." I almost screeched. "We're gonna need an expert," Dean said. I was at first against it, but we had no idea about it, so we needed the help. Sam offered to summon the demon at a Crossroads while Dean and I finished with the devil's trap. Just as we stepped back, a demon appeared in the middle of the trap. "Winchesters." it was a male demon with red eyes. "What happened to the hot chicks?" Dean asked. I smacked him on the shoulder. "Im out of here." The demon wanted to leave but couldn't since he was trapped. We brought the demon in the trunk, which was awarded, to an abandoned building, where we tortured him until he finally told us that there were rogue reapers who could smuggle souls from hell to heaven. "Great, so we're gonna find the rouge reaper and get him to smuggle us to hell," I grumbled. Thanks to the demon, we knew where to find a rouge reaper, so we drove to Warsaw, Missouri.
We got out of the cars. I quickly grabbed my umbrella since it was raining. A yellow cab parked in our street, and we approached the man. "Ajay, we Need to talk to you for a second." Dean addressed the man next to the cab. "You know my name." he removed his headset, looking up at us. "We know what you are. We want to do business." I said with a fake smile. "But you are mortal. Flesh and blood." he looked at each of us. "We want to get into hell, the unofficial way." I shrugged. "No one wants to get into hell." Ajay wasn't convinced. "But could a coyote like you do it?" Sam asked. "It's possible. But it will be pricey." Ajay said. "How pricey?" Dean asked.
"You two are resourceful. One day, you will owe me a favor." Ajay said that, which made me raise an eyebrow. "As if you know us," I growled. "Of course, you're the Winchester siblings," he replied. "And how on hell do you know us?" I asked, annoyed. "I reaped Bobby Singers soul to hell." That surprised Sam, Dean, and me, who were slightly shocked. "Bobby is in hell? How? we burned his bones." Sam asked. "How the heck is he in hell?" I asked. "But not if you're on the no-fly list of the king, then you can't." he shrugged a little bit. I scoffed. "Crowley," I grumbled at the same time as Dean. "Okay, let's do this. How much for two tickets down and three back?" Dean asked. "Dean, what about me?" I asked. "Im including you, Sis, im not going; I don't want to go back there," Dean told me with a hand on my shoulder. "Dean, no, im not going to take Kaylee with me. I have to do this solo." Sam said as we moved away from Ajay. "What, that is stupid," I growled. "Kee, please stay here. Okay, stay with Dean, and let me do this alone." Sam quietly said, and with a scoff, I turned back to Ajay. "Im going there alone," Sam told Ajay. "Follow me," Ajay replied. "Hang on, how does this work?" Dean asked.
"Not to fret. Sam will be back in exactly 24 hours. Return for him then." Ajay led Sam away, and with a sad face, I watched them walk down an alley. "Im heading to Kevin," Dean told me. "Im gonna stay here and wait," Dean asked if I was sure, and I just nodded. Dean told me to be careful before driving off, so I stayed where I was. Although I slept for around three hours that night, waking up every hour and worried that something might happen while I was asleep, nothing happened. Dean came back the next day, and he told me that Kevin was freaking out because of Crowley. "Come on, let's find Ajay." Dean and I walked over to the yellow cab, but when we tried to get his attention, we got no reaction. Dean opened the door, and I could see right away that he was dead. "Shit, how do we get Sam back?" I asked, but Dean had an Idea.
I heard him talking to somebody on the phone; only when he mentioned his name did I know who he was talking to: Benny, my ex-lover and co-worker in Louisiana. Yes, Benny and I hooked up during our time together. I hadn't told Dean or Sam since I knew they would be mad at me. "Dean, are you sure about this," I asked him while he was still on the phone. "Hang on a second," Dean said to Benny. "Listen, Sis, I want Sam back as much as you want, so please let me think about a plan, okay." Dean sounded annoyed before turning away from me and talking on the phone with Benny. I hadn't spoken to Benny since the day we left from the hunt Dean, Benny, and I did together. Dean returned to me after a minute with his phone in his hand.
"Yeah, she can hear you now," Dean told me. "Hey, ya, sweetheart. Miss me?" I heard Benny ask. "Benny, it's nice to listen to your voice. I'm so sorry for not calling." Dean interrupted me. "Alright, quit the chit-chatter," Dean grumbled. "Shut up, Dean. Let me talk to him." I snapped, grabbing the phone. "Benny, listen to me. Please love whatever Dean asks you to do." I heard Dean grumble behind me. "It's okay, hun; I want to help Dean." I heard Benny say before Dean snatched the phone away. "Don't listen to her, Benny," Dean grumbled. "Let me talk to her, Dean, please," Benny said. Dean scoffed and gave me the phone back. "Benny." I almost whispered.
