Not So Sour Love: Christmas Sweater

If you would have told me that long distance relationships worked I'd scoff saying it's a delusional idea. The phrase 'absence makes the heart grow fonder' is not an idea, missing someone is choice you make. Two years together, separated from our schools it gets better everyday when we see each other on holidays. Last month we only talked on the phone so we can spend more time with each other's families. So we made plans to spend a week together before Christmas starts, Sean going to Colorado and I'm visiting family in Frostburg.

A huge smile on my face stifling the laughter that will burst out my mouth from Sean's disdain expression of the Christmas sweater I got him.  "You seriously expect me to wear this monstrosity all day?" he asked frowning, pulling the hem of the green and red sweater with Santa on the toilet.

"You look cute!" I giggled, pinching his cheeks.

"I look stupid, I'm not wearing this in public."

"Tis the season Seany, it's cozy."

"Then I'll give it to you." Opening my jacket I revealed to him the similar sweater he’s wearing.

"We're twinsies!" I grinned widely.

"Miranda," he sighed exasperated.

"We can be that cute couple that matches."

"Ugh," he groaned, running his hand through his hair.

"Come on Sean. We already exchanged gifts and now we can share the joy with others at the mall: caroling, passing out candy canes and chocolate samplers."

"We can do that with regular clothes."

"We're giving to others."

"I know babe and I'm happy to do it with you but... this?!" He pointed at the sweater again annoyed. I giggled again, holding my mouth from his glare at me. Puttering his lips he muttered

"Because my love for you i will wear it."

"Yay!" Jumping gleefully I placed a kiss on his lips. "The mall awaits for the greater good!" Pulling his arm and we headed out.

For the bad boy/ugly sweater contest. Its a bit short but I love writing Sean and Miranda! Hope you like it! ❤❤❤
