Dorthy and Jessica were always on the phone. It had been a few days since the kids came to Dorthy's. Dorthy thought it was best to let them cool down before Jessica came over. Jessica couldn't wait any longer. She needed to talk with them. It had been too long.

Jessica not only had the kids in her mind 24/7 but Sam too... she missed him terribly and she knew he knew he messed up. She wanted to work things out but had to hold off. The kids always came first.

Jessica drove over to her parents house in the afternoon. Only Albert's car was in the driveway. Dorthy's and Sean's were not. Jessica went inside anyways.

When she knocked on the door Albert answered. Immediately he hugged her tight.

"My Jessie..." He says softly

"Hi dad" She smiles

"They are on their way home from grabbing lunch. Why don't you come in and talk with me?" He says

Jessica nods and walks in.

Albert leads Jessica to his office/ library area and they sit down in the chairs.

"So, lots going on, huh?" He asks

Jessica bites her lip and immediately starts shedding tears. Albert quickly grabs tissues and hands them over to Jessica. He gives her another hug.

"My life couldn't be any worse... so much is going on. It's like one minute everything is fine, then the next minute  my ex causes all these unnecessary problems, turns my kids against me... I'm all alone! I miss my kids, Dad!" She cries

Albert let's Jessica cry a bit and let it all out before he starts talking. Whenever Jessica was really in a bad place she could always count on her dad to help her. Albert comforts Jessica for a while.

"You know, Jessie, they are teenagers. And teenagers are brats." He says

Jessica rolls her eyes and chuckles. "Yeah, I know..."

"And trust me, I know. You, Ann, Jane, George, brats as teenagers." He chuckles

"I'm sorry!" She says

"It's okay... Sean and Olivia have a tough situation, I'm not gonna lie. They hear two different stories that they don't know what to do. Sean and Olivia love you so much, Jessica. Now listen, they've been here talking with your mother and I... they feel horrible. I guess Danny just said so many things and it confused them."

"I don't even know why all this happened..."

"They believe you, Jessica. They know you best. They know that Danny would be the one to make up BS like this."

"But why would they believe him in the first place? I just don't understand!"

"Because, he's a manipulator."

Jessica sighs "Situations like this just make me wish Danny and I worked out. For the sake of the kids. Never in a million years did I want them to go through having divorced parents and being caught in the middle of  stupid drama. I want what's best for them. Ever since the day they were born. I love them so much, they are my world. Everything I do, it's all for them. I would never lie to them or betray them. These last few weeks have taken everything out of me. Not seeing them or talking to them kills me. I miss them terribly. I just want to hold them in my arms again, I want this to all go away." She starts to tear up again.

Albert takes Jessica's hand and looks behind her. "Your world is standing right behind you. Tell them."

Jessica looks behind her to see Sean and Olivia standing at the door. They had listened in on Albert and Jessica's conversation.

Jessica quickly stood up and instantly both Sean and Olivia ran into her arms and held onto her.

"We are so sorry. I love you so much." Sean says

"You're the best Mom... I'm so so so sorry." Olivia cries

Jessica started to cry as she held both children in her arms. It was like thousands of pounds were lifted off her shoulders. All of her anger and sadness quickly diminished. And then, everything felt alright again in only a matter of seconds.
