Monday-
After seeing Danny, Sean was a bit flustered and upset. He never grew the courage to call him, he couldn't. He didn't tell Olivia about seeing Danny.
On Monday Jessica and the kids got ready for their day. The kids went off to school and Jessica went to work.
"Hey Jess, what's up?" Neil walks in with a pile of papers and sits down
"Nothing much, just trying to prepare for court. I have to go downstairs in about ten minutes. So stressful, heh!" Jessica closes up her file folders and let's out a sigh.
"How are you doing?" Neil says bluntly
She stared into his eyes for a moment and let out another harsh sigh. "I'm better, honestly. It's just the kids now. It's hard for them right now."
"I'm sorry, you three don't deserve this. You are all wonderful people."
Jessica stands up and slides on her heels then fixes her skirt. "Thank you, Neil. You're really a great friend."
"Have you filed yet?"
"No, I'm waiting for him to. And he hasn't yet."
"Really? Is he having second thoughts?"
"I don't know and I don't care. I just want this to be over, but I know it never will be over. Who knows what he'll fight for. More money? I don't have any. The house? He can take it. The kids.... My god, the kids. He can't take the kids."

After court Jessica was exhausted. It was only two. She still had three more meetings, an interview, and another court hearing. Jessica knew she wouldn't be able to get home in time to see the kids. Sean had work, so Olivia would be all alone.
Jessica decided to call Olivia and see if she wanted Dorthy to come over.
"Hello?" Jessica says softly
"Uh- hi mom. What's up?" Olivia was quickly
"I won't be home until later. Do you want me to call grandma and have her come over? I can order you a pizza."
"Nah, I'm okay. I'm just going to make pasta. When will you be home again?"
"Are you sure?"
.....
"Olivia?"
"Huh? Yea? I'm what did you say?"
Olivia sounded a bit pre occupied and herd her whispering.
"What are you doing right now Olivia?" Jessica becomes alarmed and sits up.
"Nothing! Studying! I need to study. When will you be home?"
"'Maybe seven. I can try to cancel my meetings and come home."
"No!" Olivia says quickly
"Excuse me?"
"I mean, it's not a big deal. I'm fine. I have to go, bye."
Olivia disconnects the phone and Jessica sighs.
She looks at the time and let's out a groan sitting in the back.

Jessica got home around seven thirty. When she pulled into the driveway she saw car tracks in the snow. She questioned if someone had been over. It looked like someone had just left.
When Jessica walked in Olivia was up in her room.
Jessica went up and herd Olivia chattering on the phone.
Without knocking, Jessica walked in.
Olivia quickly hung up the phone and sat up.
"Hi!" Jessica chuckles walking over to Olivia
"Hi, umm... I was just studying."
Jessica raises her eyebrow and sits at Olivia's desk. "Who was that on the phone?"
"It was a friend."
"Which friend?"
"Zoey." Olivia nods looking away from Jessica.
"Alright... I'm sorry I came home so late." Jessica stands up and kisses Olivia forehead.
"Don't worry about it."
As she gets ready to walk to the door Jessica turns back towards Olivia.
"Honey... Was someone here a little bit ago?"
"What?" Olivia's face grows red.
"In the snow I saw car tracks in the snow. And it's snowed a lot in the last hour, so I was wondering if someone was here while I was gone."
Olivia was quite for a moment. "Grandma stopped by. She dropped off some lasagna." Olivia nods bitting her lip.
"Oh, alright. I'll call her and thank her."
"No! Don't, she's sick. She's losing her voice."
"Oh, okay." Jessica says walking out of the room.

Thursday-
The kids were both silent at the breakfast table. Olivia was on her phone texting and Sean was half asleep.
Jessica sighed loudly trying to get the kids attention.
Sean woke up a bit and rubbed his eyes.
"Sorry, I'm just so tired." Sean says softly with a yawn following.
Jessica looked at Olivia was was still on her phone.
"Olivia" Jessica says in an irritated tone.
"Yeah?" Olivia still had her eyes on her phone.
Sean rolls his eyes and grabs the phone from her hands.
"You're being so rude!" Sean exclaims
"Kids..." Jessica says softly
"Sean, give it back!"
"Get off your phone! Mom is trying to get your attention."
Olivia reaches for her phone and pouts.
"That's enough! Sean, give me the phone." Jessica holds out her hand. Olivia watches her phone meet Jessica's hand and watched Jessica shut it off.
"Olivia, it's just a phone. There's a rule, no electronics at the table." Jessica sighs and puts it next to her.
"Sorry..."
"Listen, I won't be home until late tonight, again. I'm sorry. I really wish I could get home early but I'm really trying to take on some extra cases so I can get paid more."
"It's fine mom, but I have work tonight."
"Again?" Jessica groans.
"Yea..."
"Olivia, how about you go over grandmas tonight? I feel so bad!"
"No, I'll be fine at home. I like being alone, I can blast music."
Jessica shakes her head and giggles. "And you're sure?"
"Yes mom! Now we need to go Sean!" Olivia stands up
"Alright, well you two have a good day! And here's your phone Olivia."
Olivia walks over and snatches the phone from the table and hides it in her pocket.

As Jessica cleaned up and gathered her things for work, the doorbell startled her from upstairs.
"Ugh, I don't want guest!" Jessica says running down the stairs.
When Jessica opened the door a tall man stood at the door when a orange folder in his hand.
"Hello, are you Jessica Lange Huston?" He says happily
Jessica smiles "Yes."
"You've been served ma'am." He hands Jessica the folder and she looks at it.
"Served?" She walks out the door as the man walks backwards.
"Yes. I'm sorry ma'am. I only deliver." He waves goodbye and runs to his car.
Olivia watches him leave them walks back inside.
She holds the folder and slowly opens it.
As she opens it then she read it.
Her body felt heavy. Everything suddenly went numb.
