Don't Look Back
The next morning Sam drove Jessica home.
"Thank you for a wonderful night." She says as they stand on her front porch.
"Of course"
It was quite for a moment.
"I promise I'll talk to the kids... but until then..." Jessica reaches into her pocket and hands Sam the box with the key.
He holds it in his hand and looks down at it.
"Hey, I love you." She says picking up his chin.
"I love you too..."
Sam was so upset inside. He knew that the way he asked maybe wasn't the most ideal, but he was just so anxious to. He knew there was a lot more to it which he understood. He was just afraid of the answer. It was a big step. The hardest part was he preferred to live on the far, It was easiest for him since all he had to do was walk to work. It would be a huge adjustment for Sean and mostly Olivia to move out of their home that they've lived in for years. He just had to be patient and wait.

A few days later Jessica finally had both the kids home after them being away with friends.
Jessica decided to bring up he moving situation while the two of them were outside throwing around the basketball listening to music.
Jessica came outside with some iced tea and decided to join them.
They played for a few minutes and then the game slowed down.
"I'm too old for this." She says hunching over and holding her chest.
"You okay?" Sean asks
Jessica nods "Yeah, it's hot!" She chuckles
They all decide to go sit on the swinging bench and have some tea.
Jessica takes a deep breath and turns to Sean and Olivia. She was standing in front of them while they sat down.
"I need to talk to you guys." She says nervously
"Okay."
"As you know it was Sam and I's anniversary. Something big, kinda happened." She says
"Are you pregnant?" Olivia asks suddenly
Jessica widens her eyes and laughs "Oh, god no! No... I'm not."
"Oh okay, good." Sean says
"Sam asked me... well, us, to move in with him." She says quickly
"No way? That's awesome! We are moving in with Sam?" Olivia Cheers
Both of them looked pretty excited. Jessica thought she'd be excited too now that the kids seems okay with it, but she wasn't.
"If you're asking why he doesn't move in, it's because he has to be at the farm." She adds
"Yeah, that's cool. I mean I know I'll be away for college, but it's still exciting."
"Oh my gosh! I can see all the horses everyday and just walk to the farm and have donuts!" Olivia giggles
"So you're okay with this? The both of you?" She asks
"Heck yeah!"
"Totally!"
"Are you sure?" She asks
"...yes Mom." Sean says
Jessica gives them a soft smile
"Are you sure?" Olivia surprisingly asks
Jessica looks up and widens her eyes. "It will be an adjustment. You know, you two grew up in this house. It will be hard to leave."
"We can make new memories at Sam's. Grow as a family there... besides, it's time to move on from this house." Olivia says
"I know..."
In a way, her house was what was setting her back from wanting to move in with Sam. Her and Danny worked so hard for this house, she loved it. There were so many memories. She couldn't imagine calling somewhere else her home. But Olivia was right, it was time to move on.
"You and Sam are torn when you're apart. Living with each other, it will be good for you guys. I say do it, don't look back."
"Okay... you're right." She nods
"So yes, we are moving?" Olivia says standing up
Jessica giggles "I guess so!"
"Yes!" They say as they wrap their arms around their mother.

A month later, July 15th-
"Everything is in the truck. I think we have it all." Sam walks up to Jessica who stood in the lawn of her home. But it really wasn't her home anymore. After it went up onto the market it was sold instantly. It made the moving process so much easier.
Today, Jessica Sean and Olivia were getting the last of their things from their home. It was the first and last moving day.
It was a bittersweet moment. Jessica wasn't really ready to say goodbye, but she wasn't turning back. It would be weird for her not coming home to her home on Western Street.
Now, she'd come home to Sam. That's all she wanted.
The kids were excited. It didn't really bother them what so ever that they were leaving their childhood home. Maybe it was because they'd have a fresh start. A chance to design their own rooms and experience new things. maybe because they'd be across the street from their grandparents or just the idea of living on a farm was amazing to them.
Jessica was happy too. She was ready for the fresh start with Sam.
"Thank you..." She says
"I'll give you time." She says leaving a kiss on her cheek.
Jessica grabs his hand as he walks away and turns to him.
"I don't need time. I ready, Sam."
He smiles and takes her hands. "You are?"
"I'm ready for this new adventure with you... I'm excited to wake up next to you every morning, have breakfast as a little family, leave for work together, and most importantly come home to you."
