January-

It was a new year. The kids just arrived home from StillWater to visit their family. Now they were going back to school. Since the holidays were over everything was a lot more calm, which Jessica didn't really like that much. She had been stuck at home for such a long time. Now that she had the excuse to get out an enjoy herself she was excited. It was all over now. They kids would be gone all day and soon Sam would be at work full time again.

Jessica had her appointment coming up where they were going to evaluate her. Jessica was hoping for a good evaluation so she could go back to a semi-normal life. She missed a lot of her freedom. She hated always having to ask for help as well. She knew she'd still need help at times but she was ready to change on her own, make dinner for everyone, clean the way she wants to clean, sleep in what ever position she wants, and drive. But Jessica sadly also knew that Sam would have to get back to his life as well. He had missed one of the busiest seasons at the farm for her and he had lots of things to catch up on. It also meant that Sam would have to stay at the farm, they wouldn't be able to see each other that often.

Jessica gave him a key so he would always be welcome. It was a permanent key and not like the spare one she had before. It didn't mean that he could move in, but Jessica only hoped that one day it would happen.

"Okay, first day back at school! Do you all have everything?" Jessica asks as the kids grab their book bags.

They both nod. Like routine they give Jessica a kiss goodbye.

"Good luck with your appointment today!" Olivia exclaims

"Thank you!" She smiles

"Let's hope good news."

Jessica crosses her finger and smiles. Everyone she knew knew about the appointment. It was a big day.

Once the kids leave the house felt so empty and so silent. Sam was gone for the morning. He had an emergency but planned to be home just in time for Jessica's appointment. She had scheduled the appointment early so she wouldn't feel anxious throughout the day.

Sam got home and drove Jessica up to her appointment. He, himself, was nervous as well. Sam had saw a big improvement in Jessica now that she was doing therapy and working the arm. She was able to manage her pain a lot better and all in all recovered beautifully.

They waited in the doctors office not so patiently. They had finished up Jessica's exams now they were just waiting for the final verdict.

"Okie dokie, Jessica!" The doctor comes in with his pile of papers and sits across from Jessica and Sam.

"I did all of your test and called your therapist. I have decided that I can not clear you yet." The doctor says

Jessica's heart sank. She felt so upset and felt like she had let herself and everyone else down.

Jessica immediately began to tear up. Sam wrapped his arms around her.

"Whoa Whoa Whoa! Don't cry!" The doctor says

"How can I not be cleared?" She snaps back

The doctor stars to laugh "I'm sorry! I thought you guys were the joking type! Jessica you are cleared!"

Jessica breathed heavily then let out a chuckle.

"Oh my god." Sam laughs

"I'm sorry! Congratulations Jessica."

"Wow! Finally!" She smiles

"Now that you're cleared that doesn't mean go crazy. You can still do things you used to do, but know your limits. You'll still have to work with the therapist for her to fully clear you. But it's okay to not wear the brace. You are cleared for everything really. Driving, changing, cooking, cleaning, you can go back to work. You can work out if you like. I would say try light work outs though." The doctor says happily. He walks over and slowly takes off Jessica's brace.

Her arm was a bit stiff. She only worked on it sometimes. He instructed her to wear the brace when she needed it. But once that brace was taken off something came over Jessica. It all sunk in and it was an indescribable feeling.

"I have a question." Sam says

Jessica turned to Sam and raised her eyebrow.

"Sex, can we?" He asks

Jessica's face turns bright red. She hits Sam in the arm and rolls her eyes.

The doctor laughs "of course. Just go easy."

She covers her face with embarrassment.

"Sorry Jessica, I just had to ask." He whispers

"Shut up, sam!"

Sam drove Jessica to get lunch to celebrate. After lunch they went back home.

"Home sweet home." She chuckles unlocking the door

When she swings open the door Sam quickly gets inside then closes the door behind him. He grabs onto her good arm and pulls her close to him.

"Oh" Jessica giggles when her body is pressed up against his.

"Do you want too?" He whispers

Jessica bites her lip and runs her hands down his chest.

"Yes, I do." Jessica presses her lips up against his and kisses him passionately.

Sam picks Jessica up and she wraps her legs around his body.

Sam carries Jessica up the stairs and into her room. He closes the door behind him with his foot and Jessica lays down on the bed.

He stands over top of her and slowly takes off her pants.

As he goes to take off her shirt she looks down to see her scars. She moves his hands away and sits up.

"Can I leave it on?" She asks shyly

Sam knew Jessica was self conscious about them. He didn't want to argue, he just wanted her to be comfortable.

He nods then slowly leans her back and kisses her neck. Jessica closes her eyes and holds onto Sam.

As time went on Sam and Jessica were still in the bedroom. It had been a while, but believe it or not they heard Sean and Olivia walking into the house from school.

Sam and Jessica quickly reacted. Jessica was just about to reach her climax but was interrupted. When Sam exited Jessica and she began to cry.

"Damn it!" She moans

Jessica curls up into a ball and covers herself with sheets, just wishing for a few more minutes. Sam quickly changes into clothes.

"Mom! Sam! We're home! How'd it go?" Sean and Olivia say as they run up the door.

"Lock the door!" Jessica whispers loudly

Sam runs to the door and locks it.

He turns to Jessica to see how desperate she was for him, but he couldn't do anything.

"Fuck!" She whispers

"Hello? Is anyone home?" Olivia says knocking on the bedroom door.

"Hey Sean, Olivia! Your mom has some type of um... stomach bug! Would you mind going to the store and getting... um..."

"Ginger ale!" Jessica whispers

"Ginger Ale?" Sam says nervously

It was quite for a moment.

"Uh, yeah, sure." Sean says with confusion

"Olivia, go with your brother! This is nasty and I don't think you want it."

Jessica began getting antsy as she waited in the bed for Sam.

"Uh, sure. We'll be right back."

They hear them running down the stairs. Sam exhales with relief.

"Get back in bed!" Jessica says sternly once she hears their car door shut.

Sam slides his pants off and jumps onto the bed.

He slowly enters inside Jessica causing her to let out a deep moan. She grabs onto his arms as he goes back and forth.

"You're so bad, Jessica Lange." He whispers

Jessica bites her lip and grins
