"What did I do now?" I questioned her with confusion lurking in my head.

"What did you not do?" She again questioned back, which she has been doing from the moment she stepped inside.

"Bhairavi! I am tired, so tell me what other mistake I did and I will apologize." I replied shaking my head.

"How dare you make yourself get attacked those many times? Don't you know that you should also think about your safety?" She asked stepping near me.

"I do not understand." I replied in a whisper.

"You put yourself before all the warriors. How can you do that?" She questioned with her rage raising more.

"Is that a wrong thing to do? I thought you would be ecstatic if I do that." I replied with a frown.

"I would be ecstatic? For what?" She asked now having a frown over her face for herself.

"You care for your people more than anything. If any warrior's life is lost, then his family would be sad which would have made you sad." I started saying and her eyes widened.

"Alastair!" she mumbled, trying to stop me, but I shook my head not wanting to stop.

"You sacrificed them for me, but now you are their ruler. I do not want to see you in sadness anymore and want it to be taken away at any cost. I thought at that moment taking all of them safe to home will make you happy and will reduce your anger little more. I am not saying that you have to forgive me for doing this, but you will in a way feel that I want to be beside you even in ruling this Kingdom." I continued to babble with tiredness ignoring the way she mumbled and moved her hand to stop me from talking.

And I did stopped my talking when she pressed her lips to mine making me still a little before pulling her to me kissing her with passion.

I thought she would pull away or even push me, but she returned it and taking it as an encouragement I traced her lips with my tongue. When she parted her lips allowing me to take the kiss to more, I plunged the tongue and pulled her more to me not wanting to leave her at all.

However, we both needed to breathe so I released her and we both started taking air inside. As I am still holding her I waited for to be pushed, but she didn't making me smile at her.

"I thought I was the one who does crashing the lips thing, but seems to me that you too learned how to do it." I mumbled and felt her blushing a little, but she composed herself before getting a glare ready in her eyes to throw at me.

"Do you think I will be ecstatic to see your lifeless body? You should try to return home in safe not the other way around. You are a great ruler to think about the people, but they know how to fight and sometimes we cannot save everyone." She uttered and I nodded.

"I know! That was a stupid thing to do on my part, but I did not want to make you more angry with me." I explained.

"I was more sad than angry. I am scared that you will again ask me to leave and I get dreams about them." She explained and I saw tears forming in her eyes.

"I would never! When I was searching for you and not finding you at each pirate ship I felt like my life squeezing out of me. If I have to chose either to leave you or my life, then I would leave my life." I uttered staring into her eyes.

"Ok!" she mumbled stepping back removing herself from my hold.

I thought she would walk away, but giving me another surprise, she started removing my tunic with her one free hand and I helped her even though not understanding why she is doing it.

"Why didn't you tell me?" She questioned, glancing at the shoulder wound.

"I thought it wouldn't matter." I replied in honesty.

"Of course it would matter. Why do you think in that way?" She asked frowning.

"How can you be ready to marry someone else?" I questioned back, making her hand still over my wound.

"You are angry about it." She stated.

"I am sad too that you wanted to marry someone like that." I corrected it.

"What else should I have done? I thought I lost everything but then I remembered my duty which would have fallen into clutches if I didn't have a King. I would have died if I failed even in the duty as it was keeping me to be alive. Now tell me what should I have done?" She questioned.

"I know! I do not have a right to question you." I mumbled nodding.

"You do not have a right to think me at fault in that, but you can feel sad or anything." She assured making me chuckle.

"I missed your humor." I whispered, smiling at her.

"I do not know why do you even think that I am humorous when I am far from it." She said, shaking her head and made me sit down on the bed.

When she was about to apply the paste kneeling a little, I stopped her hand, saying "You need not do this work."

"Why? Is it because now I am royalty? But you were sure enthusiastic to make me do each work for you before." She pointed out with her eyebrows raised.

"I thought you were the word which I shouldn't say or not let you listen so I acted in that way." I mumbled.

"A wife can do something for her husband right?" She asked and bent down to apply the paste blowing air over it making my blood boil like the first time.

"You should think about before blowing the air." I whispered and she started blowing more.

"You are a great ruler." She mumbled before leaving my chamber and walked inside hers.

"I do not have anything to do with." I mumbled after two days from the time we kissed and didn't talk about it again living as we were before that.

"Don't you have any duties?" She questioned not glancing up from the papers.

"All the men are resting." I replied.

"It is a great idea which you should follow." She mumbled making me frown.

"It was my idea to give them a few days rest." I uttered staring at her.

"Like I already said it is a great idea." She mumbled scrunching her face in concentration.

"What are you doing? What busy work you have to do?" I questioned her.

"For now Nadir can survive on the food that is being grown on that land and also from the food sent from here if needed. But they need livestock to raise which should be sent from here. Then again we can't reduce the needs of this Kingdom so I am in negotiations with other Kingdoms to send extra livestock and other things to this land." She explained slowly and I nodded slowly.

"Let's take a stroll in the garden." I mumbled getting up and she stilled for a second before shaking her head.

"No!" She uttered not even glancing up.

"Just for few moments. It is getting dark, so you would have to wait for morning to send any messages. I promise them to be very small moments." I mumbled pressing her hand into mine.

"No!" She screamed in my face, making me frown at her.

"What is your problem, Bhairavi? I know I made a mistake and I have been doing nothing but trying to make it up for you. I thought we are progressing, but this is not what I expected from you." I uttered with irritation before walking outside.

After having a long walk I realized I again shouted at her without knowing the reason for her reaction. I rushed back only to find an empty workroom and I rushed to her chambers ignoring the looks from the maids.

"Bhairavi!" I called entering the chamber to see her lying on the bed.

"Go away!" she uttered in an orderly way, but I reached near to her closing the door.

"Why did you react in that way?" I questioned removing her hair from the face a little to look at her.

"Why do you care? You have done so much to make me be with you and now you should give up with which you need not get through any hardships." She replied turning away.

I sighed, pulling her up and sat down on the bed and made her sit on my lap ignoring her fight to pull away. I held her tightly brushing her hair and then I felt her tears slowly falling.

"They are killed in the garden when we three were taking a stroll at night." She slowly uttered in my ear making me tighten the hold around her.

"I do not know! I apologize for both the mistakes." I whispered in her ear.

"Like you said you do not know and I should have cleared it to you before reacting in that way so even I apologize." She whispered back and started sobbing in my arms.

"You didn't step there even after all these days after returning?" I questioned her and she shook her head.

"Let us go then." I uttered moving her a little to stand up but she didn't let me.

"No! I do not want to." She mumbled, shaking her head, holding me in a tight grip.

So I stood up with her in my arms, ignoring her protests and walked outside her chamber before entering the garden from the back door in the Palace.

"Do not worry! I am here to protect you." I mumbled and continued to walk around the garden signaling the guards to move away which they did in a moment.

"They were killed here." She whispered, showing the tree near to us.

"You both have brought up a strong and wonderful daughter. I can never thank you both enough for giving me this beautiful gift." I mumbled while she stared at me.

"Thank you." She whispered.

"For what?" I questioned frowning.

"For being here with me in this moment." She replied before snuggling back and I took her back to her chamber.

"Take some rest." I mumbled laying her on the bed.

"Stay with me." She mumbled moving away, making space for me.

"Go to sleep." I whispered, holding her in my arms and we both drifted off into sleep.

"Why are we going there again?" She questioned, staring out at the water.

"Because that is our Kingdom." I replied, making her give me an eye roll.

"For them I will never be anything than..." She started saying, but I cut her off placing my finger over her lips.

"Do not say that. You are not a slave." I mumbled, staring at her.

"Really? I do not know that until now." She whispered, turning away to stare at the water as we are reaching near to the new Nadir Kingdom.

"My humorous wife is still with me." I whispered and we both climbed down the ship along with the few warriors and Ravi.

"Welcome to your Kingdom, Your highness." Jacey uttered smiling at us along with Colton.

"I don't want to hear anything bad today." Bhairavi whispered to herself but I heard her.

When we stepped near to the point from where the Kingdom starts with people leaving, we saw no one was near their home so we continued to walk with her hand gripping mine.

However, when we reached the palace we saw everyone standing near to it, but have a passage between them for making it possible to walk through them and reach the palace.

"How are you both?" Bhairavi asked, exchanging pleasantries with the former King and Queen of Nadir.

"Hail Queen Bhairavi!" We suddenly heard the shouts and turned to see everyone hailing for her with joy on their faces.

And then everyone bowed before her kneeling on the land, making her eyes widen with shock. She glanced at all of us with a look of accusing that we made them do it.

"I would love to take the credit, but this is all the people's doing. They know they are able to live now in more better way with more security because of you so this is a simple way of showing their gratitude." I mumbled smiling at her.

"They accept me?" She questioned me.

"What is she to you?" I questioned the people.

"Our Queen!" They shouted, making her blink more times.

"You all have my gratitude for this affection and I would make sure to make your lives better and protect you." She uttered making all of them give another joyous cry.

"This is so overwhelming." She mumbled glancing at me.

"Why? Agatha's people love you." I mumbled with a frown.

"I know! But I always felt they did because of my parents so this is a surprise." She mumbled making me chuckle.

"People are strong, Bhairavi. If they do not like one, then they wouldn't give them any love." I uttered, and she slowly nodded giving me a bright smile making me want to kiss her right then but I stopped knowing the audience around us.

i guess there will be another chap and then epilogue... i thought of adding the next one to this but i may write more if i do it after this...
