*Alastair Pov*

"We should be leaving." Ravi uttered when I continued to glance at the warriors who are having a few moments of time to spend with their families hoping to return alive.

"Yes! Did you spend your time with your family?" I questioned him.

"I do not have anyone and that is the reason because of which I went to Palmer on my own to rescue the Princess." He replied smiling.

"I remember you with another woman who is looking after the palace tending to Bhairavi." I mumbled and he nodded.

"Yes! She had to eat the food way before than everyone so she lost her consciousness soon than all of us." He explained.

"I didn't know the reason until now." I mumbled to myself and felt silly to even think her as some weak woman at that moment.

"You will be the great minister for this Kingdom and will have a bright family of yours soon." I uttered patting his shoulder and walked inside to get ready and wear the armor.

After finishing the bath in the bathing room to which I am still getting used to as it is not like any open lake bath, I stepped outside only to stop in my tracks.

"Are you going to just stand there?" She questioned taking the tunic from the bed and I walked near to her.

This is the first time we are standing with no one around us after I returned and also her first words directly to me without an audience.

"Bhairavi!" I mumbled with a frown not knowing what to feel either happiness or shock.

She ignored my call and took a cloth from bed before rubbing my upper body which is not covered. After that, she again took the tunic and gestured me to lift my hands, which I did without a question.

She hesitated a little, but pulled the cloth covering my lower body and sighed in relief to see my undergarment making me chuckle at her face even in my shock to which she gave an eye roll.

After helping me in wearing the breeches, she took the armor from the stand and laid it on the bed. Then glanced at me and pulled me into her hug, which I returned within a second finally feeling ecstatic for the first hug after I made her leave Nadir.

Taking a deep breath, she pulled back and helped me in wearing the armor and handed my sword before taking a step back to stare at me.

"I will be fine." I whispered, placing my hand over her cheek and caressed it.

"I know! However, just be careful." She whispered back closing her eyes.

This time I pulled her into my arms and hugged her tightly to which she returned it slowly making me want to not leave her after seeing that she is feeling a little less anger towards me but I have to.

"I love you!" I whispered and walked away after releasing her with another amount of strength to return soon to make her forgive me completely.

"We need to do something." I mumbled to Ravi after the ship sailed.

"What is it, Your highness?" He questioned with a frown.

"We need to return soon." I replied and he nodded before looking over our plan again.

"We are coming near to the land." Ravi uttered that day's night and I nodded before stepping near to the captain to give the instructions regarding where should we go and in what direction.

"We need to stay low for a few hours and disperse a little so that with the little light we will attack them." I ordered after seeing them resting a mile distance away from where we are staying.

"Gavin should not be killed." I ordered the men of Nadir, who are in each group of warriors to recognize him.

"Even if he is causing harm?" Ravi questioned.

"King Teodor deserves this than getting his son killed in an attack. Trust me, I want to kill him more than any one of you." I replied and they all nodded.

"Now!" I shouted when we got the light and also successfully surrounding around all the men.

"Alastair!" Gavin shouted after a few moments when we are near to the win.

"Capture him." I ordered and continued to fight not letting any warrior get hurt.

"We will see about it." Gavin shouted again and strike his sword at my hand making the skin slice.

Before he could take another strike, Ravi plunged the sword at Gavin's hand with which he is using the sword making it fall down.

"Are you fine, Your highness?" Ravi questioned.

"I am! Now capture him before he does any more harm." I replied and he nodded before tying Gavin's arms and legs.

"We captured all the pirate ships and many pirates are dead." One warrior shouted and I nodded before moving towards the other pirates who are many in number near a little number of warriors.

"There is another group at the other side and is trying to escape." Hearing this I ran to that side along with few warriors and strike as many as we can.

"Forgive us! We didn't want all this, but Gavin and our leader made us do all this." One man shouted.

"Where is your leader?" I asked him.

"He is the first one who died." He replied trembling.

"Show me the people who could again try to harm the people and Council." I ordered, pushing him on the ground with my sword.

He nodded and showed those people, but many of them are already killed and we finished off the remaining before letting the people who do not want to be against the Council climb into a ship and sail away.

"Nadir warriors who were on Gavin's side are dead." One of the Nadir warrior mumbled and I nodded before ordering the few warriors to finish cremation of the people dead at the place where generally the Nadir people do for the enemies.

While they were doing that I walked near to the place where the huts were supposed to be but now they are not there except the chamber. I stepped near to the hut where I used to live and remember the way I made her stay inside this.

I remember how much anger she used to show to anyone if a single Slave word left their mouths. This is where she told us the truth, but we didn't believe her and I thought her as lying lass.

Then I turned to glance at the food area near which we shared our first kiss and she put the sword to my heart. And then this is the place where we got married.

I walked near to the chamber and remember how much stupid words I told her and cancelled our marriage without thinking and hurt her in a way that she do not even want to love again but that will be changed soon.

"Your highness! We can leave now." I heard Ravi's voice and I nodded before leaving the land, but went near to each outsider's land to make sure that none of the pirates are there to make them against the Council in a war way.

"We can go home." I uttered, and everyone cheered before the captain turned to take us home while Gavin is lying on the floor with anger towards us.

"Will you leave him free?" Ravi questioned gesturing him.

"I hope not!" I replied and went inside the single room on the ship to change the tunic and cover the wound properly to not scare anyone reaching the land.

*Bhairavi Pov*

"It was the plan to bring Gavin alive." I mumbled to King Teodor and Queen Sabrina along with Jacey who reached here as per my request.

"He harmed the innocent people, which is the last step for his disaster and we wouldn't mind, even if he died." King uttered in anger.

"We will feel sad for losing a son. No parent would want to see their child's death. However, if that death will bring safety to many people then it should be done." The Queen said sobbing a little and Jacey held her close.

"I can put him in a dungeon and get him to change his behavior and thoughts. His life need not be taken." I offered even though it would be not fair for the lives he took away.

"No! He will never change. What's needed must be done." She mumbled and at the same time Colton entered announcing that everyone is here.

We all walked outside to see that a few have injuries here and there. Alastair seems to be fine making me sigh in relief as these few days it felt like something blocking my breath in fear.

"He is alive." Jacey whispered and we all saw Gavin being dragged to the front of the palace.

"Are you ready to ask for forgiveness for your wrong doings and get reduced time in dungeons?" I questioned him after everyone calmed down.

"No! I am ready to take your life." He replied with such an intensity that I felt a frown over my face with a feel that what have I don't to make him this much angry regarding me.

"Take him to the dungeons." I slowly mumbled and Ravi nodded, removing the bounds around his hands and legs before moving him forward with sword over his throat to stop him from escaping.

"Do you think I will lead my life in those dungeons and feel good for not being guilt and praise you?" he questioned, laughing loudly and moved his head with force making all of us blink in shock.

"No!" Queen Sabrina whispered, holding the King to hide her sobs while Colton held Jacey.

"He shouldn't have done that." I whispered to myself and felt arms around me.

"With the permission from king Teodor, take the body away and do the funeral." Alastair ordered and few people scrambled to follow it.

"Let us go inside." He uttered to us and pulled me inside while I continued to blink at the place where it all happened.

"It is ok." He whispered after entering his Chambers while everyone left to guest chambers.

"What have I done to make him hate me in that way?" I questioned out loud and couldn't remove the hatred in his eyes towards me.

"Everything will be fine." Alastair again whispered laying me down on his bed and covered me.

He too lay down and pulled me to him rubbing my back. I slowly closed my eyes and drifted off into sleep in his arms.

When I woke up I saw that I am alone and climbed down the bed to look outside and saw that it is night time.

I took a bath calling Tina inside my chamber and walked down to see King Vali and Alastair inside the workroom discussing the war.

"How are you feeling now?" Alastair questioned.

"Fine! I will go and look at Queen Sabrina." I replied.

"They are no longer be called by the titles. They gave away those to us when you were sleeping infront of the people." Alastair uttered.

"Oh! I will go and meet her." I mumbled, walking away and reached the guest chambers.

"I wish I could change that." I mumbled to them while they nodded with the pain of losing the son.

"We will be fine soon." Teodor said and I believed him.

"We will leave to the Nadir tomorrow." Sabrina uttered while I asked her to stay for some more time.

"Colton will be there for you soon after few days for forever." I assured Jacey the next day when they were leaving.

"Why don't you forgive Alastair and forgive me if I am crossing my line of words." She questioned making me feel stunned.

"I know what he did was wrong, but he payed enough in my view even though I do not know how you felt at that point." She mumbled.

"Have a good sail." I mumbled and stepped inside after they left to see Alastair with tired face.

"Why don't you take some rest?" I offered, which he took and went to his chamber.

In the evening I saw Ravi with an uncomfortable expression standing before me for the past few moments wanting to say something but is not getting anything out.

"Whatever it is, just tell me." I mumbled with a smile.

"I hope you will not take my name near his highness." He whispered.

"What is the matter?" I questioned not understanding his request.

"It is about His highness." He replied and I nodded gesturing him to continue.

"At the war he put himself before each warrior. It should be like warriors protecting him, but this time it was reversed. He made sure that no one lost their lives, even after getting hurt in his shoulder." He added making me still in my chair.

"Hurt? Shoulder?" I asked, getting up.

"Yes! Gavin struck him and it was a very big one." He replied with a frown.

"Did he really put his life in danger all the time?" I questioned him.

"Yes! In later wars if suppose there are it will not be good for him and this time it was luck." He replied and I excused myself before asking Tine to get me some paste to apply to the wounds.

I walked to his chambers with anger fuming inside me and pushed the doors open and closed them before glaring at the person who woke up recently standing near the bed.

"Bhairavi?" he questioned in surprise.

"What is your problem?" I asked him with my rage.

"What?" he questioned back with a frown.

"Is it your aim to make me suffer?" I questioned fisting my free hand glaring at him with full effort.

the story is at it's end... tomorrow it will be finished if there is no new idea to continue it enter my head by over night...
