James POV

I look up at the werewolf in the cage and instantly know that they want to kill me. I'm the one they want not Liv, Auds or my precious Flower, Gwen. I'm snapped out of my thinking train back to reality as Liv screams realising what the creature is.

"Does anyone have a wand?!?" Gwen calls out, panic and worry clear as day in her voice.

"No" I say "mines back at Hogwarts"

"Nope" Audrey and Olivia say, their voices dripping with panic, I'm surprised they could even talk.

"Everyone get behind it where it can't  see us, it might buy us some time" Gwen yells out

"NO!" I yell out, everyone looks at me
"Let the girls go! It's me you want not them!" I call out to the stray death eaters.

"Ya got dat right, ur da 1 weh wan, but da worlds beter off wid out dem spastic Mudbloods" a death eaters reply's his voice laced with happiness.

"THEY. ARE. NOT. SPASTIC. YOUR THE SPASTIC ONE" i yell back but before the death eater responds the werewolf cage door opens with a loud creek, the faces of the death eaters look like their birthdays and Christmas came early. The werewolf  instantly turns around and advances towards us. I see Gwen's mouth move and the girls running but my body is frozen with shock.

Gwen POV

WHAT IS HE DOING!?!

"JAMES RUN HURRY" I yell, the desperation and pain in my voice.
"JAMES!" I call out as his body is slammed against the wall the werewolf about to strike him.

Without thinking
Without any common sense, my Gryffindor bravery gets the best of me, I run up and shove James roughly out of the way, I smile as he is out of harms way when I feel a sharp pain in the space between my neck and my shoulder.

I scream out in agony as the werewolf picked be up by the space between my neck and shoulder and shakes me around like a rag doll. The next thing I know is that the world starts fading and people start calling out my name.

James POV

No. No no no no no no no no this can't be happening. I run down to Gwen's body calling out her name. She has to be alive she has to! The werewolf turns around and advances on Liv her eyes filled with panic her body frozen in shock. "RUN! HURRY UP RUN!!" I yell at her but she doesn't seem to hear me or get out her frozen state until the werewolf scratches her arm, she try's running but the werewolf bit onto her leg faster then lighting "No! Not you as well no!" I shout as her body goes limp as it's thrown across the room hitting the wall.
"No! WHAT. DID. YOU. DO. TO. MY. FRIENDS.!" Audrey yells grabbing a small chunk of silver out of her pocket and throwing it at the werewolf who lets out a yelp of pain before turning to Audrey full speed.
"NOOOOOOOOOOOO!" I yell as the sound of teeth biting into flesh reaches my ears, a blood curdling scream following closely behind it. Satisfied with its work the beast turns away from Audrey's lifeless looking body, to me, the death eaters cheering him on calling him Greyback.

I try to run but my body is slammed against the wall as it did when Gwen was conscious. Suddenly a bright white light fill the room and the werewolf is thrown off me from the impact of 12 stunning spells. I look up to see my dad and Uncle Ron's faces full of shock and worry, and panic. I run up to my dad and hug him as I feel tears surface, 5 Auror's go to get the werewolf and another 4 run after the death eaters.

"A-a-are t-t-th-they a-a-alive?" I ask referring to my friends who lie looking lifeless on the floor.

"Barely, we need to get them to ms Heartly the Hogwarts nurse right away" the man reply's

"Why ms Heartly?" I ask

"She knows how to deal with this type of thing and the people at st Mungos don't treat werewolf bites anymore as to decrease the population of werewolves" he said

"Dad we have to take them there! NOW!" I yell at dad getting worried at the colour draining from Audrey and Gwen's faces. Dad nods and creates a portkey straight to the hospital wing and Dad grabs Gwen whilst Uncle Ron grabs Liv and the other man grabs Audrey. Dad creates a patronus message and sends it to the other people. We grab onto the portkey and head to the hospital wing.

Harry's POV

As soon as we get to the hospital wing James goes limp and ms Heartly rushes over to help after sending a quick message. Jeff my healer Auror gets started on the blonde girl under ms Heartly's directions. She goes over to check James when a man and a woman come up to help.

"Madam Pomfrey" I say shocked

"Yes Harry dear this is my nice ms Heartly and her fiancé Mr Heanderman but ms Heartly will always go by her maiden name" Madam Pomfrey explained as they all got to work.

"Lord Mr Potter sir, I think it would be for the best if you called Lady Mrs Potter to come here as it is also her eldest son" ms Heartly spoke softly as I continued to stroke my little boys head. I nod and send a patronus message to Ginny saying 'James is hurt, hospital wing now! No kids' within 5 minutes of sending it Ginny rushes through the door and runs to James. On spotting him, her eyes glass up.

"Harry, what happened?" She asks well more like demands,

"I, er, well" i start

"HARRY JAMES POTTER YOU TELL ME RIGHT NOW OR ELSE" she yells before getting shushed by everyone.

"mum? Dad?" A croaky voice asks, the croaky voice make us smile.

"James I'm so glad your okay, oh we're so lucky we came when we did" i say referring to the Auroras and me.

"Ms Heartly!" James cries out shocking us "how are the wedding plans" he ask as I chuckle at his want for a different topic.

"Very good James, I presume you got my invite? Oh! Are you trying to change topic again James" she asks

"1. Yes got the invite and 2. No..................... Maybe................. Yes." We all give a small laugh at that as ms heartly comes over to us.

"James, you know what a pensive is right?" She asks as he nods but looks grim, "good now you know what to do"
After Ms Heartly sets up the pensive I put my head in hopeing hugely that my kids school days are better than mine and Ginnys.
