✶ prev. titled mirage — this fic has been living in my brain rent free for almost Seven Years. wtf.

✶ if you haven't read/watched t5w, it's basically about an alien invasion that wipes out most of humanity. a lot of the kids get put in training camps to fight the aliens, and that's how my ocs lucy and casper meet ! i'm going to try and write this so it's pretty easy to understand if you haven't read/watched it.

✶ lucy is nostalgic, hopeful, and a little anxious. casper is a little haunted, often unintentionally comedic, and has daddy issues. short gf x tall bf combo.

✶ this fic follows kaleb through the events of both jurassic park (aged 14, played by young caleb mclaughlin) and jurassic world (aged 36, tbd casting)... part of me wants to do jurassic world rebirth as well purely because Jonathan Bailey but i'll refrain. it feels a bit cruel to put kaleb through this three times haha. (unless... and i'm just thinking this now but... kaleb x jonathan bailey's character ooooooh)

✶ rachel zegler as a ghost from the 00s is basically the only thing i've got for this fic but i'm putting it here anyway because it's taking up so much space in my brain rn. the inspo is basically rachel in the y2k movie. since she's a ghost, i added her eternal outfit to the gif too.

✶ thinking da'vine joy randolph as another oc too, from the 70s. the holdovers inspired ghost, obviously, hehe.

✶ with season 3 coming out next week (!!!) i'm kinda hoping that'll give me some motivation to plan out this fic (or at least give the characters names...) ahhhh.
