It had been two weeks since Audrey had broken her wrist.

Aaron: hows the writing going?

Me: gurrrr, no.

Aaron: ???????

Me: at least I can read the hideousness.

Aaron: lol

Me: im falling behind in every class. I can't take notes, unless I do it on my phone, and I can't do any writing assignments. Mrs. Beckham said not to do ANYTHING until ive mastered writing left handed.

Aaron:......

Aaron: that sucks.

Me:..........

Aaron:.......

Aaron: OMGOSH!!!!!!!!

Me:????? wut?

Aaron: I COULD BE YOUR TUTOR!!!!!!!

Me: in how many classes?

Aaron: most of them. >:)

Me: QUIT DOING THAT!!!!!!

Aaron: no and I'm the only 8th grade tutor and so I can help u!!!!

Me: lemme think about it.....

Audrey put down her phone and went upstairs for dinner. She could take her arm out of the sling tomorrow, and then she has to do a few exercises to make sure her arm is strong enough to be lifting the cast all day. She would still carry the sling in her backpack just in case her arm got tired. Audrey finished her dinner and went back downstairs to her bedroom. Her phone was blinking so che checked her messages.

Aaron: have u thought about it?

Aaron: hello?

Aaron: how about now?

Aaron: now?

Me: AARON!!!!!!!!

Aaron: wut

Me: ITS ONLY BEEN AN HOUR!!!!!!!

Aaron: plenty of time to think! ;)

Me:,..........

Aaron: did I loose u? R u gone? :'( hello?

Me: ok, you'll be my tutor.

Aaron: yay!

Me: haha over excite much?

Aaron: maybe........

Me: my bday is in two months.

Aaron: cool. U turning 14?

Me: ya

Audrey got dressed for bed and logged onto her laptop to watch a movie. She put her ear buds in and tried finding a movie. She settled on Catching Fire, even though she had already seen it about fifty times. Audrey fell asleep about halfway through the movie, just as the seventy fifth Hunger Games had started.

*ding*

Audrey woke with a start.

*ding*

She checked her phone. It wasn't going to be Jessica, because she was grounded when she snuck off to go to a friends house without her mom's permission.

*ding*

Unknown: helloooooo!

Unknown: I'm coming for you, watch your door at two in the morning.

Oh, great. Another prank text from someone in the school. Audrey thought.

Aaron: uh, Audrey? R u OK?

That was strange. She thought again. Why would he still be awake?

Aaron: Audrey?

Me: I'm OK, what's up?

Aaron: uh, I just got a call from someone saying they were going to get you.

Me: I got a text 2 watch my door @ 2 am

Aaron: OH CRAP!!!! TELL YOUR PARENTS!!!

Audrey went to her door and was about to open it when she heard breaking glass, so she locked her door.

Me: AARON!!! SOMEONE JUST BROKE INTO MY HOUSE AND IS COMING DOWN THE STAIRS!!!!!!

Aaron: IM GONNA CALL U

A moment later Aaron called.
"Oh my gosh Aaron you have to help me! I can't tell my parents they won't wake up! Plus they're two floors away!! Help! Its trying to unlock my door!" Audrey was freaking out.
"Climb out a window well!" Aaron was scared too. Audrey hung up as she heard something bang on the door and then the door broke down. Audrey ran to the window well and unlocked it, opened it, and climbed out. Whatever was trying to get her was following her. Audrey ran down the street as the thing was catching up to her.
