"Shawn!" She yells out my name before she jumps in front of me.

"NO!" But it's too late. I hear the shot right before I see her body hit the ground.

"NO! NONONONO! NOOO!" I open my eyes to find myself screaming, my heart hurting, and the absence of my best friend. My soulmate. My everything. My love. My life. Everything I ever had a reason to live for. Now I don't.

I look around the airplane at everyone staring at me. "Excuse me,"I tell the people. I get up and quietly tell the man sitting next to me excuse me. I make my way to the bathroom. I eventually find it and walk in. I close and lock the door behind me. Looking in the mirror, I find sweat leaking down my face. I wash my hands and find a hand towel to wipe off my face.

Closing the toilet and sitting on it, I rake my hand through my hair and let out a breath I didnt even know I was holding in.

"Ughhh!" Quickly standing up and grapping the hand soap, I chunk it across the small bathroom. I dont think I can take it anymore. She was so special. I dont think anybody knows just how quickly love can slip through your fingertips, disappearing just like that. There one second, gone the next. I need some rest again.

I walk out of the small bathroom and make my way to my seat. I sit down and put my headphones on, slowly drifting off thinking about her . . .
