I ran and ran and ran until I finally arrived at the camp that I set up last night. It took me 5 minutes but I still wasn't out of breath, I have a really good endurance level.

When I got there I ran straight to our tent, unzipped it and stuck my head in. Oh, no. He's not here. He must have woken up and seen that I wasn't there and gotten up to look for me. Now I have to look for him. I started to get worried as I thought of all the possible outcomes of my brother in the woods... alone... scared... maybe even hurt. I took my head out and sat back on my heel. Where would I look, what way would I go? I have no idea I think as I close my eyes. Suddenly I felt someone of little weight jump onto my shoulders, scared and shocked I screamed out bloody murder as my eyes shot wide only to see my little brother's feet dangling in front of my face as he was sitting on my shoulders.

"Ha, I got you good , " he says

"Yeah, but you almost gave me a heart attack" I say as I get an idea. "Hold on" I say as I start to jump up and down on my knees, making it hard for him to hold on even though he has his arms wrapped around my head.

"Stop, stop, your going to make me fall off!" He scream's at me but I keep bouncing until he falls off of me backwards. Then it's time for the second part of my plan. I spin around and start to tickle him, it's his weakness. "Ahhhhh, stop, stop, i'll do anything, just stop"

I stop but just long enough for me to ask, "anything?" before I resume tickling him

"Yes, YES... anything, just... STOP!!!"

"How about... your stash of lollies at grandmas house?" Grandma gives us lollies each time we go to her house ,which is like never because she lives on the other side of the forest that no one is gutsy enough to cross, but my little brother (bro), Jack always stashes his somewhere, but I never found out where other wise I would have stolen them.

"NO!!"

"Fine, have it your way," and then I tickle him harder.

"Fine... fine, just stop"he manages to say in between laughs.

I stop with the tickling and stand up before holding out a hand for him. He grabs my hand and I pull him to his feet.

"Come on, we have to get this stuff packed up so we can leave." I go into the tent and start to role up the sleeping bag that we slept in last night, thinking about the long walk we had ahead of ourselves. It would take like 3 days to get there on foot so we better start moving. once we have packed up all the camping stuff, and by us I mean me because my little brother was off chasing butterfly's of all things, we picked up our packs and left camp.

(I really want to do an a/n because I have read heaps of books and they all have a a/n so I thought I might try one :))
I just realised that I haven't said the characters names yet but I think: main character=Cassidy (I also realised that I haven't given off any hints to the main characters gender, sorry) little brother=Jack.
What do u think plz comment if u don't like the characters names it would be much appreciated, thx.
