Jake: And that's what happend...

Tessa:...

After Jake and his siblings had crashed at Tessa's room apartment for the night. Jake had explained everything to Tessa about what he saw during his investigation and what Tommy saw later that night.

Tessa was astounded but she believed every word of the story.

Tessa: Oh My God...I'm sorry you had go through all that, Tommy. Don't worry. I believe you.

Tommy: T-Thank you.

Tessa: It's a miracle that you and Melody are still alive. How knows what could've happened last night to you both.

Melody:....

The middle child of the Parker Family stay quiet. She just couldn't believe the monster had followed them back to the Motel.

If she would've woken up during that event. She didn't want to think about it. She also felt a little guilty because Tommy had went through another traumatic experience just like she did.

Tessa: And Jake! What were you thinking?! Walking out at night, all by yourself leaving your siblings to fend for themselves!!! Do you have any idea what could've happen to you if someone saw you?!

Jake:....I know.

Tessa: What if something happened to you?! How would Melody and Tommy cope with the fact that their brother vanished off on them like that.

Melody:...

Tommy:...

Feeling really guilty for his actions, Jake couldn't even find the words to defend himself against Tessa's opinions. She was right and he hated to admitted that.

Jake: I'm....sorry....

Tessa:...That was awfully reckless of you! But...I admire you bravery.

Jake: Huh?

Tessa looked down at her feet.

Tessa: Thanks to you guys. We were able to discover a sinister truth...The residents here want to get rid of us...also....I saw the monster too.

Siblings: ?!!

Tessa: Last night before you showed up. It also appeared in my room. I wasn't in bed at the time because at the thought of Misty being in trouble. Once I saw it coming inside in my closet until it left. Then you guys. showed up. I can't help but feel envy of you guys. I can't even imagine myself going out there...putting myself in danger like that. I...just can't believe they been watching us all this time like you claim.

Melody: In other words...it won't be long now til they act.

Tommy: I-It's only a matter of time....

They were right. They only had at least one or two days left to make haste or else they're screwed.

Jake: Another reason we need to get out of this place...and fast.

Tessa: Right. I'm going to go look for Dudley. Together, we'll look for a car and least something that could help us get out of here. What are you guys going to do?

Melody: We're going to gather materials from the store...and look for a way out like you.

Tommy: Yeah. We'll meet back later. Maybe we can bring Mr. Howie along as well.

Tessa:....I don't think that's a good idea.

Jake: Yeah. Like Dudley said. He's a resident of this town. I'm not sure eit would wise to trust him just yet.

Melody: He still could be our "inside man" though.

Jake: You got a point there. Let's go. Thanks for letting us sleep here, Tessa.

Tessa: Anytime and do be careful.

-Later-

As soon as Tessa left the building, Jake and his siblings were once again together searching for a way out. That was their main objective now.

They wasted enough time as it is grappling in straws.

Jake: Alright. You heard a lady. Let's look for a way out.

Melody: But first. Let's get materials from the store.

Tommy: Okay! Let's do it then!

Tommy took off first which shock have siblings at his change if pace.

Melody: He seems excited.

Jake: I guess he's looking to finally leaving this place. Can't say I blame. Alright let's go before we lose him again.

Melody: Right.

The two older siblings followed Tommy at the way to the store which was located a few spaces away from the motel.

Jake opened the store but stopped when he noticed the man's glare at the reception table.

Man: You...

Jake: Oh Sheesh. What you angry about now?

Everytime they walked in, this man always got an attitude with them. Jake wasn't in the mood for this. This pathetic middle aged man wants a fight. Jake will gladly give it to him.

Melody: I-Is something wrong sir?

Unlike her older brother, Melody could tell the man was furious. Even more than before. Just seeing the store owner turned red made her afraid.

Tommy was hiding behind his siblings in fear of seeing the rage on the man's face.

Man: You...Broke into my store and stole some items, didn't you?!

Jake: The fuck?! No I didn't! I left some money paying for it!

Man: So you admit you broke into my store!

Melody: (GOD-DAMNIT JAKE!)

Jake: Hey! At least I ain't no thief!

An emotionless look can onto the man's face.

Man:....Get Out.

Tommy: H-Huh?

Jake: WHAT THE HELL?!

To their horror, the man pulls out a large kitchen knife from his shelf and begin to leave counter...towards them!

Melody: J-Jake! Let's get out of here!

Jake: R-Right!

Jake grabbed Tommy and ran out with Melody following them.

None of them didn't look back as the man watched them go with an agitated expression.

He then walked back to the counter before putting in a phone number...

Man: Hello...Yeah...It's Me...I would like to make a report.
....

Jake: W-What the hell is his problem?!!!

Tommy: H-He was actually going too...

Melody: I...can't believe this.

Jake: Shit...I'm sorry guys. I didn't mean to put you both in danger like that...

Melody:....Don't worry about it. Did you...really broke into his store?

He gave her a solemn answer.

Jake:....I did. But only so I can buy some items. I left money on the counter. I swear I didn't steal anything!

Melody: Actually...You still stole from him. Even if you did left money, you took his things without permission, Jake. There's such a thing called common sense. You could've waited in the morning...

Jake felt like he been punched in the gut.

Great. Now he really felt like an idiot. Because thanks to him and his irrational thinking, they have no chance to getting no more materials to help them out of this town.

Tommy: A-At least we still got food to last us for a day or two.

Jake: As long as you don't eat it all because we know how you are...

Tommy:....Barry made me do it.

Oh sure, blame the teddy bear.

Jake: Anyway. Change of plans. I do know one place we can check out. You guys probably won't like it.

The younger siblings frowned. They didn't like the sound of this.

Melody:....Go on.

Jake:....While I was searching last night. I ran into a shed that had a secret passageway...I'm not sure where it leads too...but I do know one place it might...

Melody: Where...?

Jake:....

Tommy:....Oh no...
