5 months later:
Meg's POV: I have a lot of pent up anger since I lost the baby so I joined Kenny and Drew's gym. They have military brothers come in as therapy. Drew, Kenny, TC and I are instructors and we have a new guy joining today. After Drew debriefs everyone I get paired with the new guy. I pin him and when we get up again he grabs me in a chokehold and I can't breathe so I tap out. I hear Drew and TC screaming my name and I see TC pull Locke off of me and push him towards Drew and TC runs to me. "Meg don't move okay." "TC I can't feel my feet. TC I'm scared." "Call 911." The ambulance arrives and I get wheeled into the hospital. When we get to the hospital TC takes my hand and Scott runs over to treat me.

"Meg you're going to be okay. Drew and TC can't treat you so I have to." "Is Topher and Kenny here?" "Yes, do you want them instead?" "Yes I do want them instead." Topher runs over and Kenny holds my hand and TC kisses me. They take me to get an CT and wheel me back into a room. They come back in and they say I have swelling so I have to say to make sure I didn't get hurt since they can't see yet. A couple of house later I can feel everything again and I can move my feet and the scan is clear so Topher clears me to work. I see Mac in the corner and Drew yelling. I push Drew back and start yelling. "Drew stop it, it's not his fault. Locke is military and we understand better than anyone the nightmares that surround that." Drew nods and hugs me and we talk to Mac together. Once our shift ends TC and Drew and I decide to take Mac to breakfast. I parked next to Mac so I see Locke get out of the car with a knife. I push Mac back and grab a bat from my car. "Mac get back. Locke is delusional and he's going to kill anyone to get in his way. Mac you're part of this hospital family and I can't let you die because you're my brother and I love you."

TC stands next to me and Locke swings the knife which cuts TC's forearm. I swing the bat and hit him in the abs. When he swings again he slices into my forearm. I turn and swing the bat but before I can hit him he stabs Mac. "Drew!!!! Molly, Jocelyn get a gurney!!" Drew runs over and Mac grabs my hand, "Meg you're my sister and I love you. I'm so proud to see how far you and TC have come and Drew and I love all three of you. Meg you're my beneficiary along with my wife and kids and I need you to look after them. I'm sorry this is on you, I love you Meg as my sister." I grab his hand tighter and he puts his other hand on my shoulder as I lift up his head. Once he's gone I check for a pulse and it's gone so I call his time of death. When I go back into the hospital TC and I get our arms stitched up and go home. ONE WEEK LATER: Today is Mac's funeral and his wife choose TC and I to give a speech and be handed his flag. I sit right next to his wife and TC is on the other side of me.

We're in our dress blues and he grabs my hand when we go to make our speech. Once we finish I'm crying so TC wraps his arms around me and pulls me to my seat. We get up to leave and TC holds my hand on one side and Mac's wife holds my hand on the other side. I see protesters and Drew and I look at each other and then at TC. "It's a good thing your son is dead." "It was God's will." "He deserves to die." Finally I yell out "Hey watch your mouth! This is his family. How would you like it if I told that to your mom." This fazes the protestors so I grab hold of Mac's wife's hand and lift one of his children in my arms and TC lifts up the other. We push through and get them into the car which locks the door and waits for everyone else to get in their car. I go back with TC and I grab ahold of Mac's mother's hand and TC grabs Mac's sister's hand and I see Drew get Mac's dad. We rush all three of them through the crowd and into their car and TC, Drew and I get in after them. "Thank you guys for getting us away from the people spewing hate about our son." "You're welcome Mac's mom."

She smiles at me and I smile back. We get back to their house and TC and I leave with Mac's flag. We go back to the hospital and I see Drew wheel in Brianna. "Drew what's wrong?" "She needs a lung transplant so she's going to be staying at the hospital and she's our daughter." "Hi aunt Meg." I smile and she pulls me into a hug. TC smiles at us and takes a picture. "Meg are you working?" "No I came to see you and then go home." "Oh okay. Well we love you." When TC and I get back to the house he stares at me. "Meg I need to go with Topher to save Ali and I'm sorry but Ali saved my life and Topher needs me." "I know but you both better come back to me." TC smiles and kisses me telling me he promises to come back and that he loves me. I smile and I know it's about two days until Topher and TC leave. I smile and fall asleep in TC's arms.

When I awake I hear TC stir and he kisses me. "Meg, the plane leaves tomorrow night. I love you so much."  We get up to go to the hospital so I pack my bag with our stuff and he grabs our car keys. We drive to the hospital and when we get there Scott smiles. "We have a meeting today with an Army Captain and we added Topher to the team. So at lunch we're leaving to give our presentation." We all nod and we go into the hospital. Topher comes up to us and says "You guys can have the day off and just be on call." TC and I nod grabbing our stuff so we can leave. We run out of the hospital and get into the car and drive home. Warning steamy scene ahead: Once we get home TC starts pulling at the seam of my shirt. I slip his shirt off and unbuckle his belt. He takes off his pants so he's standing in his boxers. I take my shirt off and he gently takes off my pants. He starts kissing my neck trailing kisses down. He bites my ear and I moan and he starts going farther. You know what happens from there.
