A looming darkness is arise

Shadows grow long,

The day has meet it's demiss

But it will come back strong,

The darkness isn't complete,

for there shines the moon way up high

It's glow elite,

never unnoticed in the starry sky

Now some creatures roam at night only,

built to live in darkness alone

an owls cry is heard lonely,

as it flies in the sky on it's own

A wolf pack's cries follow,

seeming to sing

as they bay and howl,

ready to face what this night may bring

The glowing eyes of a tiger

as it hunts its prey,

it's all the more survivor

at night than at day.

a bat's high screech is heard

as it flies over tree tops,

it's body covered in black and brown fur

coming out of it's cave made of rocks,

The crickets noisy song

falls upon nightly ears,

singing along

with no fears,

The fox runs 

through the mighty trees,

finding prey without the sun's

light with ease.
