Part 2

"Baby, please take care of yourself" eyes trickled down Mrs. Roy's eyes. "Why ma, is this not what you wanted?" she heard her daughter's sarcasm. Yes of course! Of course she wanted this. But not like this! Her precious Minerva cannot be anyone's substitute. Never in her wildest dreams, she thought god would gift her exactly what she wanted but with this. But the mother was lost to another mother. Dhriti's mother.

Dhritiman had hardly realised that he had filled Minerva's partings. The Guptas sighed a relief seeing Minerva accepting everything without a budge. Only Ridhhi was more tensed now. He yet could not understand that why his brother took this extreme step? Yes, Dhriti was indeed very sensitive and soft hearted but not to extremity. And Mina, what about her? Well, she is nothing that Tiya was! Is this good? Or is this bad?? Ridhhi had met Tiya quiet a times before marriage. She never looked like career oriented woman. In fact, how much he read her(Tiya), she was very much casual about her career. She looked more interested in living a carefree life, with no tension of earning, no responsibility. He yet remembered how Tiya cooked a grand lunch when Dhriti informed her about introducing her to him (Ridhhi). Then suddenly what the hell happened??

And Minerva? Well, she is poles apart from Tiya. Ridhhi did go to her boutique each time he visited Kolkata. Some sort of his mother's order. And every time he saw her deeply hooked with the drawing sheet and pencil or with some piece of cloth, needles, and scissors. Yes of course she welcomed him with a broad smile, but whatever she spoke to him was all about her business. Her latest achievements! He remembered, how she showed her the order that she received from a dance reality show, where she would have to design the dresses for the contestants for every performance. She was just so tensed about how she would complete the order with just two workers. Bbut this was a opportunity of life. The way she was jumping around. Ridhhi himself felt so excited! Oh, what a irony, with his mother's request, she herself had designed the sari that Tiya would put on in the reception.

Will this girl be really able to bring out his brother back to normal? What will she do? Sacrifice her blooming career for the sake of a depressed husband who is head over heels in love with another woman? No, Minerva wasn't of that mentality. Then what??? His brother needs someone who would pull him out of this stage. All almighty's game! He sighed.

Just a week, when Dhriti hardly spoke to anyone, continuously searched for Tiya. But she seemed to have disappeared in fact dissolved like camphor in the air. Nope, being in the police department it was not much difficult for him to search a girl, a normal girl. But then what was it? He couldn't involve anyone from the department. Neither he could speak of this to anyone. The only news he got was she had flew to Dubai, where her cousin lived her husband. But he did not lose hope. And in this one week, he hardly acknowledged Minerva. She tried to talking to him, to get something out of him. But always got either silence or death glares in response.

Another couple of days passed, and now it was time for the Guptas and Roys to return to Amaravathinagar. And thus today, the parents had come to take the kids to Dhriti's flat.

Dhritiman, as said earlier, the good boy, the well organised boy had been planning marriage for quite a long time. Even before he had told his parents about it, with some loan, adding some money, he did manage to buy a flat here. Reason? Though he would have to run across the country, but his parents would stay here after his dad's retirement, and not in that patriarch house which looked like it would collapse any time. He had decorated his bed room according to Tiya's choice, with her favourite colour combos in bed sheets, curtains, cushions, walls, everything. He knew Tiya so well, every little thing, but had failed to notice the major thing she wanted. As a result, today, his flat, his bedroom would see Minerva and not Tiya.

"Arey Dhriti dadamoni.." a lady in her early late thirties welcomed everyone with a wide smile. Ridhhi knew her, the care taker of this flat.

"And you are Tiya Didimoni. Wow, you are so beautiful. Dadamoni always used to speak about you..." the lady spoke again, making everyone gasp. Dhriti left for his bedroom and Minerva froze at the doorstep.
