Giggles And Laughter

Tehreem laid out the piles properly and both of them fell into the bed in tiredness. Seeing their sync in falling in the bed , both of them chuckled. Haider looked at the chuckling Tehreem next to him , the way things have changed between them leaves in surprise everytime he wonders it.

"I want to lay here and never get up but we can't do that , I'm too lazy to get up and call your fam , I can't even move a finger right now" said Tehreem and Haider chuckled.
"I know, Let's stare at the fan for a while more then we can go and call them" said Haider and Tehreem hummed a yes

Both of them stared at the fan turning. After a while Tehreem went down and called Haider's family to their room. Sarah ecstatically followed Tehreem and Tehreem giggled at her antics. Haider got up from the bed when he heard Tehreem's giggles.

"Omg have you both robbed a mall or something, there's so many stuff over here" said Hina with a surprised look
"Hey! Not only you have the right to spoil others, we too have the rights and Miss Sarah was in on this shopping spree with Mrs Tehreem over here" said Haider and Tehreem rolled her eyes

"Who wants to go first" asked Tehreem with a smile
"Obviously Sarah , the girl has been waiting for us to open the luggage and give her the things we bought for her , She even reminded me the fact from the airport" said Haider and Tehreem chuckled while Sarah shot him a look

"This whole pile of things is for you and you alone , Haider might have contributed one or two things in this so i need my whole credits if you like them , if you don't like them then understand that the thing was Haider's selection" said Tehreem

"Hey!" Whined Haider
"I know that Sister-in-law is always right and I already love everything , thank you so much" said Sarah and Tehreem giggled seeing the reaction , Haider smiled listening to the soft giggles

"This is for you Mama" said Haider and handed to his mother the things they brought for her . Hina looked at his son and daughter in law with a sweet smile
"Thank you" said Hina
"Sarah gets part credit on the selection" said Tehreem

"And how can I forget my sweet dad" said Haider Handed over the things to his dad
"Thank you" said Saaz

Tehreem and Haider were walking towards Tehreem's home, Tehreem was excited, and Haider was clutching a bag of gifts so was Tehreem. They both walked into the house, and they went silent seeing the person standing Infront of them.

"Areeka" whispered Haider, Haider looked at Tehreem and his eyes met hers

"You both reached, I was waiting for both of you to arrive, it's been very long since we met" said Ashar, the couple put on a cheerful smile masking their surprise seeing Areeka

"Yes, it's been so long" said Tehreem in a cheerful voice, Haider held Tehreem's free hand.

The holding hands did not go unnoticed by Areeka, the couple walked inside the house to get greeted by the Mehta's. They all shared a few words; both was a bit out of place after seeing Areeka as a surprise

"At last, both of my daughter's and son are together in the house" said Taroon with a smile, all of them smiled at Taroon.

"Tehreem will you be staying the night?" asked Nusrat, Tehreem was planning on it, but Areeka made her cancel that. Haider looked at Tehreem to know her answer

"Some another day" said Tehreem with a smile

"Why?" asked Areeka

"I promised Mama that I'll go to a function with her" said Tehreem and she looked at Haider.

Tehreem had gone into her room to see how her stuff was, she heard footsteps and turned around to find Areeka standing behind her. Tehreem ignores her and goes back to look at her stuff. Areeka walks towards Tehreem.

"Reem" called out Areeka but was ignored, Areeka called again but Tehreem ignored her. Areeka turned Tehreem towards her, and she was met with Tehreem's' cold stare.

"Why are you ignoring me" asked Areeka

"Because I don't want to talk to you," said Tehreem

"What is this" asked Areeka. She had seen a bruise in Tehreem's hand, Tehreem remembered her hitting the side table with her hand in the morning, resulting in a bruise. Tehreem decided to keep on ignoring Areeka just like she did.

"Is he hurting you? TELL ME TEHREEM" said Areeka and Tehreem continued her silent treatment

"OH MY GOD, He is hurting you because of me, Oh God, I knew he is the crazy kind, but I never thought that he would abuse you" said Areeka and Tehreem rolled her eyes

"Don't flatter yourself by thinking that he'd abuse me because of you, if you've known me which you don't at all, you would've known if he tried that then he'd be filled with bruises because of me" said Tehreem and walked away

"Don't you ever accuse my Husband again, try to not show you face r talk to me again" said Tehreem and she ascended the stairs.

Areeka was shaken by Tehreem's behaviour, but she was the one to blame for the coldness Tehreem was showing. Areeka wanted to Talk it out, but Tehreem was not even giving her a chance to do that.

Tehreem, Ashar and her parents were sitting outside and talking, Areeka was inside, and She had seen Haider getting inside and she knew she had to take the chance, she would have to go against herself to get her sister to talk to her. She went towards Haider

"Haider" called out Areeka and Haider stopped, He was going to walk away

"Haider please stop" said Areeka and he stopped. She stood next to him.

"Come with me please" said Areeka and Haider reluctantly followed her to the sister's room. Haider was confused and Areeka was trying to collect her thoughts.

"Haider I'm sorry for hurting you like this, I should've said more and be there for you, but I just left you over there, I was a coward, and I ran away. I should not have done that, and I am sorry" said Areeka in a pleading voice

"I did a very big mistake and hurt you so much but why did you involve my sister into this hate game, she is completely innocent and doesn't need to be in the middle of this" said Areeka

"This is what Tehreem says, All I did was just start the fire, The fuel was burning inside you all along" said Haider and Areeka looked down guiltily.

"I know that I made a lot of mistakes but give me a chance to repent all of it, I'm really sorry Haider, I should've own up to my doings when I could and I didn't, I used Tehreem as an escape because I'm a coward" said Areeka

"Why are you telling me this all now?" asked Haider

"I need your help, I hurt Tehreem so much with my words and actions, she has all the right to be angry, I know that very well, but I need to talk to her, but she keeps on ignoring me, please help me for once, I just need to talk to her" said Areeka

"Why should I help you?" asked Haider in a bitter way

"Please" said Areeka and Haider melted

"Ok" said Haider

Haider was walking away and Areeka was praying that let Haider be successful, she needed to talk to her sister. Haider was walking with a lot on his mind, he stumbled upon a figure, he looked up to meet her eyes.

"Tehreem" he whispered..........

So the exam went well and I'm glad . Finally a decent exam and I'm finally done with school
