Lisa's POV

We were now headed towards the Bleak Lake. We tried to be as low as possible to avoid detection. After we were pretty close to the Bleak Lake, we landed. We hid ourselves in the bushes and peeked out. I couldn't really see anyone.

"The coast seems clear but we still need to be careful" Hobi said. "Alright, let's sneak towards that area. There are enough bushes to hide us." Soyeon and I nodded. We started to move when a voice startled us.

"You might wanna go there with a proper plan you know" We turned around to find a boy and girl.

I heard Soyeon taking out her flute.

"Wait!" I grabbed her wrist before she could start playing it. I turned to the boy and the girl. "Who are you and why are you here at night? It's dangerous." The boy smiled.

"We are fairies. We live here in the forest. "

"How did you find us?" Soyeon asked.

"Fae predicted your arrival" The boy pointed towards the girl.

".... " When we didn't say anything he continued

"She has Precognition." We nodded in understanding. "I believe you are Angels?"

"Yeah" Hobi said. "We came here.....We are looking for someone actually. A friend more specifically"

"Here?"

"She was kidnapped by the Demons"

"Oh....Well we can help"

"No thanks we are fine" Soyeon said. "Let's go guys" She said as she started towards the lake. She kept walking until she hit something invisible and fell back. "What the hell?"

"The lake is protected with a powerful barrier made from water. Sounds fragile but it's not. This place is guarded by Demons who have water powers" The boy said. Fae went to help Soyeon but she denied and got up herself.

"And how do you think you can help? " Soyeon said to the boy.

"I have powers of the Sun....I can help evaporate the water barrier"

"Then I guess we could use your help" I said.

"Wait wait.. How do we know you won't attack us" Soyeon said as she crossed her arms.

"...If we wanted to we would've already" He said with furrowed eyebrows.

I looked towards Soyeon and raised an eyebrow.

"Soyeon they are literal teenagers. And we don't have time. We could really use some help right now" I said. Soyeon pressed her lips into a thin line and rolled her eyes. What's with her?

"Fine" She muttered. I nodded towards the boy and he started walking towards the barrier. He raised his hands and touched the barrier, letting his hands light up. Soon he made a way through the barrier.

"There you go"

"Thanks" Hobi said. We started walking through the barrier when Hobi stopped. "You coming? " Soyeon turned towards Hobi with wide eyes.

"If...That's okay with you" he said hesitantly.

"Sure, we could use some allies" Hobi smiled at the twins and they nodded. We all together sneaked in. "You didn't tell us your name by the way."

"Ferdinand"

"I'm Hoseok. But you can call me Hobi. This is Lisa." He pointed towards me. "And that is So-"

"Soyeon and you can call me by no name because you don't need to talk to me" She said and walked further.

".... Sorry about that. I don't know why she's being like that" Hobi said.

"Ah...no it's fine" He said.

I looked towards Fae and realized she has been quiet since we met.

"Can she like..Talk?" I whispered to Ferdinand.

"Oh yeah. She does. She's just not the talkative one but she is really friendly." I nodded. I kept staring at her when her eyes turned towards me. She smiled and I smiled back.

We had caught up to Soyeon who was now taking out her flute to put the Demons to sleep. After she was done, we gathered in a circle.

"Alright. Let's split up. I'll go with the twins, and you Lisa go with Soyeon." We nodded.

"Soyeon will trip over something " We all turned towards Fae.

"Excuse me?" Soyeon said as she stared at Fae. She didn't say anything else

"Ah...lets go" We started walking towards the left side while Hobi and the twins went towards the right.

"So.....What's with the rude act?" I asked as we went further away from the twins.

"Doesn't matter" That's all she said and I sighed.

"So where do you think the prisoners are kept..Because I don't see no sign of dungeons or anything. " I said and it was true.

There was not even a small hut or house where the Demons might wanna rest. I think they sleep on bedrolls. But... What about the dungeon? We haven't even spotted any trap door or anything.

There were some black rope like strings that were suspended from the tree branches and fell in the lake.

We searched around the lake for awhile, after finding nothing we started walking back where we came from. We were almost there when I heard Soyeon yelp and fall. I turned around quickly and helped her up.

"I tripped over something hard" She said. We looked at what it was and it was lever. We both grabbed it and pushed towards the opposite side.

We heard metal clanking. We looked at the lake in which those rope like strings which I believe are chains moved up. Gradually, four cages started appearing.

I gasped as I saw rotten, dead bodies in them. My first thought was Jisoo. I let my wings out and flew closer to them, trying to see the faces, panic was clear on my face.

"Ferdinand! Your light. Come here now!" I shouted towards them. He flew towards me and helped see the faces of the dead bodies. Relief showered me as I realized none of them were Jisoo.

I went down towards Hobi and let my wings contract. I was breathing heavily. Hobi hugged me and rubbed my back, trying to relax me. I pulled away as I calmed down.

"Alright, Jisoo isn't here. Which leaves us with the last place and that is near the Necromancer's Lair. We should get going before the Demons wake up." We all nodded. "You guys wanna come? We could give you a proper place to live. " The twins stayed silent for awhile.

"We...Kinda like the forest now." Ferdinand said.

"They could live with Elizabeth!" I said to Hobi. "We have a friend who likes in a hut in the forest. Why don't you live with her? She's really sweet and has a younger sister." The twins looked at each other. After awhile they nodded at each other.

"Alright. We will come along"

"Great!"

Troye's POV

Tomorrow we will be taking the body to the necromancers. I'm not sure if this is gonna work though. But let's see.

Chaeyoung and I are on good terms again. I also apologized to Jennie for being so rude. Basically we three are back together like before.

Tonight, we three decided to go to the amusement park. Something I missed.

We were standing in front of the entrance of the amusement park, staring at the rides and food stalls in awe which might sound a bit childish for us.

We stood together at the entrance of the amusement park, staring at the big rides and yummy food stalls in awe. Our eyes sparkled from excitement.

It was the best day ever.

Flashback over

We took a ride on the Ferris wheel then went to the roller coaster and screamed like idiots. We went to the haunted house ride as well and Jennie screamed every time something popped out.

We ate churros and cotton candy. We played the mini games on the stalls. I won a teddy bear for Chaeyoung and she hugged it happily.

It was honestly one of the happiest days of my life. It's been a long time since we three went out together. Seeing Chaeyoung so happy made me happy. Her smile the most beautiful today with which I couldn't help but fall in love. I knew my eyes were shining golden.

I wish I could see her beautiful smile everyday. See her this happy all the time. I'd do anything to keep her smiling.

I want to spend each and every day with her, spend every day to make her smile. But I couldn't because it was too late.
