(Y/n) POV

I was, as usual, waiting for the gang to get back from a mission. I sat in my usual place and just waited, and waited, and waited 'This is boring' I thought and jumped down from the crate I was sitting on. I walked out of the ware house and just started wandering around the city taking in the sights and different sounds. I then saw three guys harassing a faunas woman and her kid. They were mainly yelling at the mother but the kid just got caught in the middle of it. I may be a pyromaniac, but I'm not a racist fuck nugget. I walked up to them and tapped one on the shoulder 

"What do you want kid?" 

"Nothing, I just want to get in on this" I said and he smirked 

"Go ahead, teach the freak a lesson" and I went up to the mother. No that I'm closer I could make out her cat ears and her daughters cat ears as well. I leaned down to her ear and said 

"Don't worry, I'm not here for you" and she looked up at me slightly confused 

"Just watch" and I turned around and punched the first guy in the jaw knocking a few teeth out. I didn't do it as hard as I could or else, well, I don't want a murder charge tonight. He landed on the pavement with a very hard thud and his friends looked at me and one tried to throw a punch but I blocked it and kicked him in the stomach and elbowed the other in the face, probably breaking his nose. I wiped the blood off of my hands and said 

"Relax, you two should be fine now" and they stood up and while I was walking away the mom said 

"Thank you, your a good person" and I waved her off 

"No I am not, I'm probably as far from a good person as you could get" and her kid ran over to me and hugged my leg. When she did I looked down at her and she said 

"But you are, you beat up those guys that wanted to hurt us, that's makes you better than them" and her mother came and up and said 

"Come on,let's go home" and they walked off leaving me standing on the sidewalk looking like an idiot, just staring into space. I eventually regained some sort of thought and went back to base. When I got back I kicked in my door and laid down on my bed like I would usually do. I turned on the TV and flipped through the channels till I found something good and just let it run. I was laying so my feet were hanging off the side and I just stared at the gray ceiling. I was about to fall asleep when I heard my door open and I looked over and saw Neo standing there 

"Oh, hey Neo" I said looking at her and she just laid down on my bed like I was but with her feet dangling not on the floor because they couldn't reach 

"(Y/n), can I ask you a question?" 

"You just did" and she flicked my nose 

"Fine, what is it?" 

"Have you ever thought about what your going to do after all of this is over?" 

"No, honestly I haven't at all, I thought I'd just figure that out when the time comes" and she then laid on her side 

"Well, I have an idea for how to make that happen" and I gave her a confused look 

"Okay, hear me out, tomorrow Cinder and her lap dogs will be out on a mission so I say that you and I just vanish, like we were never here" and i got up and started walking around 

"well, there's a few holes in that plan, like what are we gonna do for money, were both broke" 

"Come on (Y/n), are you even aware of how big the bounty there is on Cinder's head alone?" 

"No, how much?" and she brought it up on her scroll "Holy crap that's a lot of zeros" I said looking at it 

"So, we just tell the authorities where they are and collect" 

"Um, Neo, aren't you forgetting something?" and she shook her head no 

"I don't think so" 

"Are you aware of how big the bounty is for you and me? It's more than Cinder's alone, especially mine" I said and she laid back down and started to think about what to do. I laid back down next to her 

"Hey, you don't have to think about it now, let's just sleep for now, I can tell your tired" and we got up and laid underneath the blankets. Right before I fell asleep I felt Neo cuddle up to me and I wrapped my arms around her and said 

"I love you, Neo" 

"I love you too, (Y/n)"
