"Tired?" Draco whispers as (y/n) yawned out at her desk, her nodding as she rubbed her eyes. "Library tonight?" he asks, smiling as she nods again, the both of them waiting for the professor to come in for their DADA class with the rest of the class.

"It's been a while since the tower." she whispers, the Slytherin boy nodding.

"You know we can't be up there because of the dementors." he says, both kids jumping back into their seats when the door slams open to reveal Snape storming into the class, slamming all the windows closed to put the classroom into darkness. He walks to the front of the class, pulling down a screen over a blackboard before turning to the students.

"Turn to page 394." all the students do as Snape asks, Harry asking the professor what happened to Lupin. "That's not really your concern, is it, Potter?" he says to the boy while walking to the back of the class. "Suffice it to say, your Professor finds himself incapable of teaching at the present time. Page 394." Snape presses one, turning the projector on.

"Werewolves?" Ron questions when he sees the page.

"But, sir, we've only just begun learning about Red Caps and Hinkypunks. We're not meant to start nocturnal beasts for weeks." (y/n) jumps in her seat and almost screams, whipping her head around when she sees Hermione sitting next to her when she wasn't there before or at the beginning of the class.

"Where did you come from!?" she asks the Gryffindor girl, Hermione shaking her head.

"Quiet," Snape exclaims, Hermione shutting her mouth quickly while Ron, Harry and (y/n) ask each other of they saw their friend come in. "Now. Which of you can tell me the difference between an Animagus and a werewolf?" Snape asks as he starts a slide show, an ancient woodcut of a horrific beast flickers at the front of the room. As the class stares mutely at a slide of an attacking werewolf, Hermione waits desperately for someone to respond to Snape's question and (y/n) slowly raises her hand.  Snape walks to the front of the room, standing before the class and turns around to face the students. "(l/n)... a first... go on."

"Uh, an Animagus is a witch or wizard who chooses to turn into an animal. A werewolf has no choice in the matter..." Snape nods at the answer.

"Louder for the rest of the class (l/n)."

"Werewolves actively hunt humans and respond only to the call of its own kind-" (y/n) flushes as Malfoy lets out a low howl next to her, winking at her as he howls louder for her.

"Thank you... Mr. Malfoy..." Snape cuts him off. "Well done (l/n). Next time in the future... if you know the answer, put your hand up instead of just writing it in your reports." the poor girl looks down at her books in embarrassment but she didn't receive the worst of it as Snape scolds Hermione next to her about speaking out of turn.

"Five points from Gryffindor!" As the students in the house groan out in annoyance, Draco folds up a piece of parchment into a little bird, casting a spell for it to flutter and he holds it up in his hands to blow it off to fly over to (y/n)'s desk. She blinks down at it as it flaps its wings, looking at Draco who smiles at her. He nods at her to open it but she shakes her head, looking at Snape who was assigning the class homework right before the Quidditch game.

The class goes on smoothly after, soon ending as the students quickly packed up their stuff to leave and head to their next class. (y/n) was unravelling the note in her hands, giggling at the picture of little birds, maybe Loki and Hunter, doing funny tricks like rolling around or jumping on each other's heads.

"I see you liked the drawing Puff." she jumps as she sees Draco standing next to her, him peering down at the caricature drawing he made.

"It's cute."

"Do you want to go to the library now? Get some of Snape's homework over with?" he whispers and she nods, the two heading to the library.

"He's all healed so why is she still doing things for him?" Harry asks as he narrows his eyes at the Hufflepuff and the Slytherin going to the library.

"She's a Hufflepuff, she can't help it but be nice to people even if they're absolutely rotten." Ron shrugs.

~~~~~~~~
"You need to pay attention or I'm walking away." (y/n) huffs as Draco pokes her cheeks instead of focusing on his report.
"Can't you just do it for me?" he whines out and she rolls her eyes.
"You're not injured anymore so no. You need to do it yourself." he huffs out, leaning his head in his hand as he turns to just stare at the girl sitting next to him while her quill wrote for her but she was holding it to just pretend. Words scribbled over the parchment quickly as her hand laid over the textbook, trying to ignore the stormy grey eyes that just kept staring at her. "You're just being creepy now..." Draco's lips turn to a grin slowly, shifting closer to (y/n) to see what she wrote and she pulls her parchment papers away. "Nope! You can't copy off me!"
"Puff! Come on! I don't feel like doing this and you're almost done anyway!" he continues to annoy her, poking her arm over and over again or tugging on her hair. He was like an annoying child pulling a tantrum.
"Stop pulling on my hair!" (y/n) whips around to face Draco, her hand holding the quill pointing at him and she gasps as he grabs her hand to pull her closer to him.
"Just this once Puff?" he looks up at her, seeing the skin of her cheeks turn pink as he stared into her pretty doe eyes.
Why is he so touchy-feely lately!?
"Draco..." she hitches lightly, her glasses falling and he moves to fix it back on her nose before she manages to lean away from him. "No means no. Now if you want to get something done before your game tomorrow, I suggest you do it now."
"Oh, didn't you hear? Slytherin got swapped with Hufflepuff for tomorrow's game. I was looking forward to shoving Potter off his broom." Draco hisses lowly in annoyance.
"Well if you want to have a free weekend, get this done. I need to go, I have Ancient Runes in a couple minutes." (y/n) stands up to pack her stuff, yelping as she gets pulled back down in her seat with the Slytherin boy holding her waist.
"Stay, that class sounds boring."
"I'm not staying! I don't want to get in trouble with the teacher!" she pries his hands off her and quickly packs up her stuff before picking it up and walking away.
~~~~~~~~

"Wait, wait, wait! What happened!?" (y/n) gasps as she gets pulled by Hermione through the castle hallways, going to the hospital wing when she told her what happened at the Quidditch game. "Oh my god Harry!" she exclaims, going to his side to help him when he struggled to sit up. "What happened!?"

"You fell off your broom." Ron says, the Hufflepuff girl frowning at herself for not being able to protect the boy cause she wasn't there.

"Really? I meant the match. Who won?"

"Of course, you were thinking about the match." she smacks his arm gently, rolling her eyes as he chuckles but that didn't ease the uncomfortable glances and sudden silence. "Hufflepuff won!?" (y/n) asks and Ron, Hermione and the twins nod slowly.

"No one blames you, Harry. The Dementors aren't meant to come on the grounds. Dumbledore was furious. After he saved you, he sent them straight off." Hermione explains.

"There's something else you should know, Harry. Your Nimbus... when it blew away? It sort of landed in the Whomping Willow. And well..." Ron lowers the end of a blanket of splintered wood and twisted twigs in his arms to show Harry his demolished broom.

~~~~~~~~
"(y/n)... (y/n)..." Draco whispers with a smile as she groans out softly, his arm around her shoulder while he played with her hair.
"What Draco...?" she yawns out tiredly, not bothering to even open her eyes as she slept against his shoulder in the library.
"Is it true Potter fell off his broom during Quidditch?"
"Mhm." she nods, sinking into the beanbag and nestling under the blanket they shared. "Like a 100 feet... Dementors got too close and he fainted, falling off. Hufflepuff won by the way..."
"Congratulations." Draco mutters lowly against (y/n)'s hair, leaning his chin on top of her head. "Why are you having trouble sleeping?" he asks, feeling the girl in his arms go rigid.
"Nightmares mostly. I don't really know... I just can't bring myself to sleep... well unless I'm with you apparently..." that makes the boy's ego grow at that, to know his Puff felt safe enough to actually fall asleep around him.
"Puff..." she hums letting him know she was still paying attention. "What are the nightmares about?"
"I can't remember when I wake up... I just know it's something so sad that I feel sick and I can't go to sleep again after that..."
"I won't ask again, I'll let you sleep..." Draco lifts his head as (y/n) nestles against his shoulder, resting his cheek against her head before closing his eyes to sleep with her as the library lights turn off.
