(y/n) - your name

"Home sweet home!" Molly exclaims once the family, plus Harry and (y/n), arrive back home comfortably after buying their school stuff. The kids immediately run off to do their own thing, Ron and Harry showing (y/n) around the place.
"Sorry about the mess." Ron grimaces, seeing the knitting being done and the pans being cleaned with magic.
"No need, it feels like home..." (y/n) smiles bitter-sweetly, imagining if this is what it would be like if she had a family. The loud and chaotic mess of siblings making your day full of life and never a quiet dull or parents bickering about their jobs but giving each other warm smiles...
"Here! I know it's a bit small but mum said you can stay in Ginny's room." Ron says, her little sister grinning with excitement to have another girl to talk to.
"Yes!" she jumps happily, taking (y/n)'s hand and dragging her to her room to show her around. "This is my bed but it's actually two beds so we can split it for you to sleep in!"
"You don't need to go through so much trouble-" the little redhead quickly starts to split the beds before the older one could say anything else, the Hufflepuff looking around the little one's room to see it filled with toys, books and little nick nacks. It was cute, seeing splotches of pink items and frilly dresses along with her new school uniform hanging proudly by the door knob. "Oh! Are you going to Hogwarts for your first year?"
"Yes! I'm excited but a little nervous too."
"Don't worry, you'll be fine at school. It really is the best place to be." (y/n) says warmly, realising that Hogwarts was the home she missed.
Ginny suddenly looked shy, perched up on her bed while peering out her door so no one would hear her which made (y/n) curious about what she was going to say next. "What is it like, being friends with Harry?" the older girl blinks in surprise but a smirk grows on her face making the redhead blush.
"You have a crush on him." she whispers, the female Weasley quickly shaking her head.
"I do not!"
"Well, either way, Harry is a good person. An idiot sometimes but a good person." The girls decided to gossip about the boys and about school, (y/n) telling Ginny all the tricks she learnt in her first year before the Weasley showed her where to freshen up. There was a way to hit the shower knob and turn it to get warm water but (y/n) managed to get it down easy and get cleaned up before Molly shouted that it was time for dinner.
"Of course, you're wearing your hoodie." The boys snicker when (y/n) comes down the stairs, her rolling her eyes at them as they sat at the table together with the Weasley family.
"(y/n) dear, come sit! There's a spot between Fred and George." Molly says, setting the food on the table and the twins bow playfully for the girl before pulling her chair out for her.
"How lucky we are to have a fair maiden sit between us." One of the twins, (y/n) honestly couldn't tell them apart, says making her flush pink.
"She's so cute! Look at her blush!" the other coos, poking her cheek.
"Fred, George, stop picking on the poor girl!" Molly scolds before turning to the girl. "When did you say your parents were going to drop off your belongings dear?"
"Oh!" (y/n) quickly tried to come up with a lie, snapping her fingers and her powers flash outside unknowingly by the Weasleys except for Harry who looked at her with wide eyes. "Right now actually. I think they just dropped off my stuff." the girl jumps up and goes to open the front door to reveal her belongings stacked neatly on top of each other.
"Fantastic! Boys, why don't you bring in (y/n)'s belongings and set them to the side neatly." The boys groan softly at the chore, Harry walking up to (y/n) who watched them do as their mother said.
"How did you do that!?" he whispers in awe and she grins at him.
"I've been practising. I can show you later tonight if you want." she whispers back and the boy nods eagerly. They quickly went back to sitting at the dining table with the Weasley family again, eating dinner together and chatting widely. The moment was lively and filled with love, and a neverending smile set on (y/n)'s face.
~~~~~~~~
"(y/n)! Wake up!" the girl groans softly as she gets shaken awake, someone whispering to her quietly as if trying not to wake up Ginny. She turns around and sees Harry looking at her with a grin, tugging on her arm to pull her out of bed.
"Right, I was going to show you what I practised... Hold on." she rubs her eyes with a yawn and waves her hand so both of them were floating, flying down to the living room without waking up anyone.
"Cool!" Harry gasps as (y/n) sets them both back down on the ground softly. "What else can you do?" he asks and she aims a hand against a wall of the house, the bricks coming apart and scattering so they could easily look through outside before the wall melded back together.
"Obviously the floating and the flying but also," (y/n) turns herself invisible which made Harry look around in excitement. "but you can hear me if I am invisible."
"Just like my cloak but better!" she reappears easily like a ripple.
"So one of the new things I figured is teleporting items from far away. I could summon things nearby like from my dorms to the classroom but I tried to extend that reach so now," (y/n) focuses as her hands glow, a ball of light pressing against her hands until there was a sudden pop and multiple boxes of chocolate frogs dropped to the floor.
"That's amazing!" Harry picks up a box to look at it, opening it up to see the treat and taking a bite of the chocolate. "You can eat it too! Like I can taste it!"
"Yeah, the sweets store in Diagon Alley is gonna see a few missing boxes from their shelf." (y/n) chuckles, looking around at all the worn and tattered school items the Weasley had.
"That's how you brought your stuff from your place then! Just outside!" Well, it wasn't all her belongings, just the rest she had yet to move to the Hogwarts castle from her apartment in a nearby muggle town.
"Yep..." (y/n) nods, waving her hand to control all of the Weasley's school items including textbooks and cloaks. She focuses on the shops in Diagon Alley, brand new replacements popping up next to the old items in a flurry of red. "Figured the Weasleys might want brand new stuff."
"Isn't that stealing?" Harry asks and (y/n) shrugs as she sets the belongings down again.
"I replaced the items with coins at the shops." she lies and Harry eases with a smile.
"It's going to be like Christmas for them when they find all this!"
"Remember, keep this a secret." (y/n) raises her pink and Harry quickly curls his around her to pinky promise.
"I promise!"
~~~~~~~~
"I still can't believe we got all of this brand new stuff!" Ron exclaims in awe, looking down at his basket as he was running with his family to try and make it to the train on time. Harry and (y/n) were running with them as well, the girl panicking about missing the boarding. She was so tempted to fly past everyone just to make sure she didn't miss the train, but there were too many people around her. They finally reach the gap for 9 & 3/4, the older Weasley's getting through before Ginny and (y/n) did.
"Oh thank god!" she runs down the platform, speeding it quickly with her trolley as she climbs on and lets it race down the path for her. "Whoo! Let's go!" she shrieks out, using her powers to go faster while dodging the students who jump away from being run over.
"What in the bloody world!?" Blaise gasps as he looks out the window, Draco doing the same and his eyes widen when he sees (y/n) flying down the platform on her trolley. The wind hits them in the face from her speed, the both of them looking at each other with confusion at how she was doing that. But of course, Draco knew and hid his smile from the amusing scene.
"I'm here!" the conductor helps her put her stuff in the train compartment before she jumped on just as soon as the doors closed behind her and she breathes out in relief.
"(y/n)! What was that!?" Hermione quickly runs up to her down the narrow hallway, laughing in amusement since almost all the students saw her zooming down the platform.
"I had to somehow get here quick didn't I?" the girls laugh as they went to get into their seats in an empty carriage, (y/n) looking around with concern that she didn't see Harry and Ron. "Where are the boys?"
"Oh?" Hermione looks around and shrugs. "I'm sure they got on but maybe in a different carriage." the girls nod and chat away happily, (y/n) not realising that Draco was in a carriage next to them so he could see her try to tame her hair after her impromptu flying session. He couldn't help but smile seeing her flushed cheeks, hearing her laugh but it drops when she looked at him and then narrows her eyes at him before shutting the carriage door on his face.
"Bloody hell..." did he really have to try and make it up to her? Was she really that mad at him for what happened at the bookstore?
What do I do?
