They leave you to mourn their loss
It might not seem that easy to do

But they leave you in no time

You wanna be someone's 'Only one'
Someone who will be your sun
Whose sunshine you may be
Living together, together in glee

You are special and there's no doubt
If that so called "someone" leaves you
It is their loss
Don't think too much
Don't mourn to long
It might not be that easy
But you've gotta move on

Loving might become difficult for you
But there might be someone,
Who you think is not true
A someone who keeps you drawn
But to get them, you've gotta move on

I actually just wrote this poem. This poem portrays a story. How you are with someone and think they are the one but suddenly they leave or they've been cheating on you and you suffer.

To cover up your sadness you flirt with people, mask your feelings like nothing has happened. But still, there is a longing deep inside you that someone calls you theirs, it keeps reminding you of the time you've had with them.

You want to be someone's 'only one' like they'll be yours, someone who becomes your sun, brings out your sunshine. Someone who you can live happily with.

You think that because they left you, you are useless. But let me remind you dear, you are special too. It's their loss if they left you. You shouldn't think and mourn for too long, 'cause that's just going to make it difficult for you to move on.

After the loss you've had, loving might become difficult for you because now you are more cautious. But there is still someone who needs you, who you need. A someone who really catches your attention despite how much ever you try to keep them away. That person, who might really be the one this time. But to get them, you've gotta move on from your past and live a happy future with your actual only one.
